Guzman swiftly turned his head to look at the map on the wall.

"The operations center has ordered three regints, 15.18, as well as a portion of the ’Xiuhtecuhtli! (Imperial Allied Army),’ nearly 9000 n to advance towards Madella!"

"Leave none of them alive; I don’t want to see any survivors. They dare block our route, we will make them die here."

"Understood!"

Arican Ti, 6:11 AM.

More than 300 mbers of the 336th regint, comprising two companies, captured Madella and rapidly established defensive fortifications.

The logistical unit at the rear hurriedly airlifted heavy machine guns, anti-aircraft machine guns, ammunition, and artillery over.

"When will reinforcents arrive?" Company commander William Jas Hearst, with a square face and a robust build, asked the second company commander.

"The operations center’s response is 2 hours. The other units are pushing through the other cities in the border area. We just need to hold out for 2 hours, then follow-up forces will co to support us."

"But don’t worry, the Coast Guard will help us."

Madella’s geographical position is very important, directly severing the connection between Sinaloa State and Chihuahua State. As long as it is held, your DM can only be transported around from other places in the future.

The cost, manpower, and energy will at least double.

William Jas Hearst frowned, "Can that patrol boat make turns in the river? Don’t let it beco a target and get shot. That’s the Coast Guard’s only boat; they should go back and cook for us."

"William, don’t let the Coast Guard hear you say that, or they really will beat you up," the second company commander said, curling his lip.

"Report! Commander!"

"We have intelligence."

"A large number of enemies are approaching Madella," said an officer who ran over.

No sooner had he spoken these words when a howling sound ca from the sky.

"Artillery!"

On the morning of August 10, 1990, at 07:00, the "Battle of Madella" began.

...

United States. New York. Wyndham Hotel!

Victor, wearing a short-sleeved shirt, jogged slowly on a treadmill, able to see his underlings below from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

After checking the data and completing ten kiloters, he finally pressed the pause button, stepped off the treadmill, and Casare handed him a towel with care.

"You need to lose so weight too." Victor wiped his face and patted Casare’s belly, who gave a wry smile and glanced at the treadmill.

Asking him to run was like asking him to die.

"Boss, last night, my unit attacked Chihuahua State and Sinaloa State according to plan, capturing four towns, including Madella, and 17 villages. Task Force 141 captured Guzman’s mother."

"We killed about 2172 drug traffickers!"

"Among them, we captured three leaders from Juarez in Chihuahua State, all relatives of Aguilar."

"We lost one Mi-8 helicopter, with 261 of our people killed in action!"

Victor was very satisfied with the battle results, "Do the Aricans know?"

Casare nodded, "Mr. Bush’s staff is already waiting for you in the lounge; I have told him."

"Since we can fight so well, we should make them bleed. I also told them that Pablo has deep connections with the Soviets, and we have found traces of T55s with Guzman. Perhaps it is a proxy war."

"Only the Soviets can make the Aricans generous," Victor joked, slapping him on the shoulder.

"I’ll go take a shower."

A man washing his body and hair, five minutes is enough, maybe even too much. Shower gel? What’s that stuff.

Is there a need to apply anything else?

When Victor arrived in the lounge and t Mr. Bush’s staff, Helson Wales!

The man had silver hair, wore glasses and looked refined.

"Congratulations, Mr. Victor, the Anti-Drug Force’s battles in xico have co to our knowledge, and Mr. Bush is also delighted," he said.

"Thank you! It’s our responsibility."

Helson Wales nodded, looking at him and hesitated, "Is there really Soviet involvent behind Guzman?"

"Didn’t the CIA provide you with intelligence?"

"It seems they are quite incompetent," said Victor with a smile, "This is what FBI and DEA found in xico. You don’t think they made those T55 tanks themselves, do you? My intelligence agency tells that the giant bear’s life might not be long. Perhaps, before its death, it may want to go on a rampage?"

Helson Wales’s brow twitched, and his face spasd.

The giant bear was dying; of course, he also knew, being a staff mber privy to much intelligence—but that Victor was aware of this was no simple matter.

"I heard that you also have quite a number of Soviet weapons."

"Of course!"

Victor admitted readily, "But they weren’t as friendly with the Aricans as I am. The Sinaloa Group led by Guzman has at least hundreds of cases against Aricans every year, not to ntion Guzman—CIA lost quite a few to him."

"My Soviet-style weapons are for protecting Aricans and xicans."

Helson Wales nodded in agreent, passing over a piece of paper with sowhat sloppy handwriting, but it was clear and looked freshly written.

Fearing he might not understand, it was written in Spanish.

"Originally we had agreed on an amount of sponsorship, but we believe it is far from enough. This is a re-calculation I made imdiately after reporting to Mr. President."

Victor took it and his expression turned to shock as he read the first line.

"First, allow xico to use U.S. military GPS satellites and initiate intelligence sharing."

"Second, six M1A1M main battle tanks!"

"Third, two sets of M270 multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS), along with thirty M26 rockets."

"Fourth, allow the Anti-Drug Force to recruit from centers for retired U.S. military personnel."

"Fifth, provide one thousand M16 rifles and two hundred thousand bullets."

...

Only four points!

But this indeed made Victor feel the extent of the other side’s generosity.

With GPS, many things can be done with "extra eyes," seeing farther than the Drug Association could.

Not to ntion the six M1A1M main battle tanks—valued at 8.9 million US Dollars each, this adds up to nearly 50 million.

And the two sets of M270 multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) along with the thirty-six M26 rockets hardly need ntioning—this thing is the epito of "Arican-style violence."

Each launch can fire twelve M26 rockets or two tactical missiles, but M26 rockets can spread 7,728 submunitions, covering an area of 60,000 square ters.

It can also fire other types of missiles.

For instance, the XM135 rockets containing VX nerve agent or the GMLRS-ER rockets with a range of 150 kiloters.

Let’s just say...

This thing is a strategic, deep-battlefield weapon of the U.S. military.

The Iraqis nicknad it: the relentless steel rain.

Ranked as one of the most feared weapons on the battlefield.

It is also considered a short-range missile.

The U.S. is giving this away too?

Aren’t they afraid I might use it on them?

With a range of 480 kiloters, it’s nicknad: "the commander’s private shotgun," "the Gypsy’s van!"

I don’t know how much the M270 multiple-launch rocket system costs, but if NATO countries were to acquire and upgrade them, it’d cost tens of millions of US Dollars at a minimum.

And each M26 rocket costing around 120 thousand US Dollars, with him providing thirty-six enough for three volleys, totals to 4.32 million US Dollars alone. Explore stories on empire

There goes an apartnt in the Wealthy District of New York, United States.

Plus weapons and ammunition, this sponsorship amounts to over a hundred million US Dollars!

Clearly, the United States is furious about the North Arican Drug Syndicate bombing the Statue of Liberty, and most importantly, there are Soviet shadows behind it.

Truly NMD generous.

Sugar daddy, whoever you tell to hit, I’ll hit.

It’s not that Victor’s moral bottom line is low, it’s just that the other side has given too much.

These weapons alone, if he were to exchange for them with points, would cost at least 200 million.

"What does this ’fourth, allowing the Anti-Drug Force to recruit from centers for retired U.S. military personnel’ an?" Victor still didn’t understand one of the points and asked, pointing to it.

Helson Wales explained, "The United States cares a lot about re-employnt for retired military personnel, and many soldiers find it hard to integrate back into society. These centers are places that introduce work opportunities. If you offer a high salary, the Arican soldiers are very willing to earn so foreign currency."

So it’s an official interdiary.

Generous, indeed generous.

Victor had nothing to critique, very satisfied.

A rare mont of Arican generosity.

"We hope to bring the culprit behind the scenes to justice as soon as possible."

"No problem! Our goal is the sa: for peace, for the well-being of the people of both countries unaffected by drugs, I will annihilate those drug traffickers."

The money is in place.

All is good.

Once I get back, I’ll take them out!

Helson Wales nodded then changed the subject, "I hear you have a gentleman’s agreent with the pilots at Newburgh Air Force Base?"
