The mont he scattered the calming powder, Yang Qi mobilized the Magical Power within his body. It gathered at his fingertips, ready to cast the Entanglent Technique to restrain the brown bear, or even use the Small Transport Technique to move it.

Less than three ters to the brown bear’s left, on the ground by the path, a young man who looked to be in his early twenties was slumped in a heap. His face was deathly pale, and his whole body trembled. His mouth hung wide open, but no sound ca out; he was clearly scared speechless.

The calming powder from the system didn’t disappoint.

As the powder drifted toward the brown bear, its special ingredients—which had a powerful soothing effect on beasts—quickly took hold.

The brown bear, which had been frantically slapping the railing, suddenly twitched its nose a few tis. Its paws stilled, and the terrifying crimson color in its eyes visibly faded as its rage quickly cooled.

The roars from its throat turned into a few low whimpers, tinged with confusion and bewildernt. Its massive body swayed slightly, as if it were dizzy.

The madness in its eyes receded, replaced by a sort of panic.

’It worked!’

Yang Qi thought to himself, slowly stepping forward.

He didn’t recklessly rush right up to the brown bear. Instead, he maintained a steady pace and cast the Basic Spirit Communication Technique.

"Hey, big guy. What’s wrong? Need so help?" Yang Qi greeted it in a calm, gentle voice.

"ROOOWL..."

Sensing the strange words that it could understand directly, and the aura emanating from Yang Qi that made it feel inexplicably at ease and want to draw closer, the brown bear let out a low rumble.

I... I didn’t an to.

The Two-legged Beast hurt .

It hurts so much...

The ntal voice was filled with grievance, and its massive body subconsciously shrank back.

’Was this rampage caused by a person?’

A chill went down Yang Qi’s spine, but he maintained his gentle deanor.

"It hurt you? Where does it hurt? Do you want to take a look?"

While soothing the bear, Yang Qi slowly shuffled to his right, moving away from the young man who was still collapsed on the ground.

"WHUFF..."

Now... It doesn’t seem to hurt now...

The brown bear assessed itself and responded with so confusion.

It instinctively followed Yang Qi’s movents, timidly taking small steps to the right with him while nervously glancing around.

Just then, a flurry of urgent, disorderly footsteps and shouts ca from behind them.

"Over there!"

"Quick! Quick! Quick!"

The Zoo’s security team had arrived.

The group, all in uniform, rushed over panting. They carried riot shields, steel man-catchers, and long poles. Two of them were even holding tranquilizer guns.

The security captain in the lead was a resolute-looking man in his thirties. He imdiately spotted Yang Qi just a few steps away from the massive brown bear and instinctively yelled out in alarm.

"Look out!!"

At the sa ti, he reflexively raised his tranquilizer gun, about to aim and fire at the bear...

’Don’t move!’

Yang Qi quickly turned his head and made an extrely clear "stop" and "be quiet" gesture toward the security captain.

Simultaneously, he used his other hand to point at the young man who was still paralyzed and scared speechless on the ground.

The security captain froze, his gun half-raised!

Only then did he see the collapsed tourist on the ground, and his heart leaped into his throat.

If he fired now, whether the shot hit or missed, it could re-enrage the brown bear, which seed to have cald down.

Cold sweat beaded on his forehead.

The security captain forced down the urge to shoot and turned to his equally tense team mbers behind him, whispering,

"Everyone, hold your positions! Stay quiet!"

...

Seeing the security captain’s reaction, Yang Qi breathed a small sigh of relief.

’Good thing this captain is experienced and quick to react. He didn’t act rashly.’

Continuing to soothe the brown bear, which was growing uneasy again from the sound of footsteps, Yang Qi made an "eating" gesture to the security captain and then pointed at the bear.

The security captain understood imdiately.

He quickly whispered to two guards standing a little farther back, "Quick, go to Bear Mountain and get so of the fruit the brown bears usually like to eat!"

"Understood!"

Knowing the situation was urgent, the two guards imdiately turned, crouched down, and ran off as quietly and quickly as possible.

The security captain breathed a little easier.

His gaze swept the area like lightning, and he spotted another male tourist behind a large tree not far away—one who was incredibly bold and reckless, holding up his phone to film the scene!

His expression imdiately darkened. He whispered to two guards beside him, "Over there, the one behind the tree. Keep an eye on him. Don’t let him move or make a sound. If he dares to cause trouble, restrain him imdiately!"

"Understood!"

The two guards imdiately crept over.

After making these arrangents, the security captain and his remaining team mbers turned their gazes forward, their faces filled with utter astonishnt.

They watched as the refined and handso Yang Qi led the adult brown bear—which had been utterly savage just monts before—as if he were walking a docile, giant dog. He guided it dozens of ters away to a relatively open lawn, far from the crowd and the path.

Although the brown bear was still a little nervous, glancing around from ti to ti, it surprisingly showed no signs of aggression. On the contrary, it angled its body slightly, trying to get closer to Yang Qi as if seeking his protection.

Its whole deanor... was surprisingly one of grievance and dependence!

"Quick, rescue the man!"

The security captain suppressed his shock and gave another whispered order.

Two agile guards imdiately shot out like leopard cats. Working in perfect coordination, one in front and one behind, they rushed at incredible speed to the side of the young man who was scared speechless. One grabbed his arms, the other his legs, and they carefully but quickly lifted him away, moving him to a safe area far from the scene.

The sudden movent startled the man back to his senses. A choked, gurgling sound ca from his throat, but at least he didn’t scream.
