"Get ready, we have new friends coming."
Morris said steadily, raising the muzzle and aiming in the direction of the house’s back door.
"Thud thud thud thud!!"
In no ti, dozens of footsteps could be heard coming from the path behind the door.
Even from such a distance, they could hear the heavy breathing of the others.
In the next second, a dozen shadows appeared in their field of view.
These people looked similar to the previous ones, all tall green-skinned warrior figures, exuding an oppressive presence just by being seen.
"Be careful, they have weapons!"
In the communication channel, Morris warned his teammates gravely.
Because many of these new mutants carried strangely shaped firearms, obviously self-assembled crude goods.

They understood that even self-assembled firearms were weapons of an advanced civilization.
On Water Blue Star, they’re undoubtedly black technology level stuff, so they cannot afford to be careless.

Inside the house, the leader, a nearly three-ter-tall hulk, roared while pointing at the corpse on the ground.
He spoke in the language of the Audock Empire, mostly incomprehensible to those present, except for Morris who could understand the aning.
"Intruders! Intruders! Find them!"
The mutants had a simple way of speaking.
Perhaps their developed muscles affected their brains, giving their language expression a beast-like feel.
"Phew~"
Run’s sniper rifle fired again, targeting the tallest mutant.
However, luck seed to be on the other side this ti. The mont he pulled the trigger, the mutant bent down, appearing to inspect the corpse on the ground.

The companion standing together behind wasn’t as lucky.
A bullet grazed by, creating a huge hole in the upper body, and it fell silently.

Inside the house, the remaining mutants imdiately descended into chaos, emitting a series of unpleasant cries.
The gun’s muzzle had been enchanted with silence, so they did not hear the shooter’s exact location, only able to deduce the general direction from where their companion fell.

Another voice in the Empire’s language sounded.
The leading mutant suddenly shouted in the direction where Weiss and the others were hiding, and the other dozen companions roared and charged over.

Morris cursed under his breath.
Even though they were so well concealed, they were still quickly found out by the other side.
The genetic modification of these mutants seed to have their own unique features.
Much stronger than the weakened modifications on Water Blue Star.
"Boom!!"
The sound of explosions erupted as several fragntation grenades detonated among the group of mutants.
"Open fire!!"
In the next mont, the muzzles of Morris and the others spewed flas again.
Though there were only three of them, their powerful weapons wove an impenetrable web of firepower, a sweeping assault on the group of mutants.
"Roar! Roar roar!"
There was a continuous roar from inside the house.
Several were hit by bullets and grenades but did not fall dead; instead, their fury was ignited.
A red light flashed, and a beam shot out straight from inside the house, blasting the spot where Morris was hiding.
The thick wall fortification couldn’t withstand it, exploding into pieces.
"Careful!"
The companion’s warning was belated, and they dared not cease fire, glancing at the captain’s position.
"I’m fine, keep shooting!"
Morris’s voice ca through the earpiece, allowing them to breathe a slight sigh of relief.
By the wall, two ters from his previous position, Morris quietly wiped the sweat from his forehead.
The mont just now was truly nerve-wracking.
If he had reacted just a little slower, he might have t his end there.
The opponent’s plasma weapon was just too aggressive.
Such swiftness in attack speed and destructive power, definitely not comparable to the guns in his hands.

Though powerful, the charging speed was truly lacking, giving the Rat Extermination Team a chance to catch their breath.
Another barrage of bullets, and two mutants holding weapons fell amidst screams.
Every one of them was extrely strong.
Even with 8mm high-caliber bullets, unless hit directly at a vital spot, it took several, even dozens of shots to take them down.
"Careful! They’re charging at us!"
Through the communication channel, Morris shouted in anger and fear.
Among the mutants, seven or eight warriors had already advanced close, less than a hundred ters away.
At their speed, it would likely take only a few seconds to close in.
Each one wielded oversized lee weapons.
Machetes, hamrs, each weapon enormous, fitting their fras perfectly.
In a fleeting glimpse, Morris also saw the dark red bloodstains on those weapons, likely from previous victims.
"Take them out! Don’t let them get close!!"
Their muzzles imdiately turned, concentrating firepower on the charging mutants.
In an instant, bullets poured out like rain, shooting at them.
Among the seven mutants, one with bad luck got a direct hit to the head, two had their legs shot off, writhing on the ground in agony.

The remaining four had already closed within fifty ters by now.
Seeing those frail enemies in sight, each let out a piercing roar.
The leading mutant brute lifted a thick tal door panel, deflecting all the bullets.
"Damn!"
The black man, Jiko, cursed.
As their magazines emptied, exhausted, and lacking new strength, they were on the verge of a close encounter.
"Beep beep beep beep~"
Suddenly, a rapid electronic sound rang out in front of them, accompanied by Run’s voice through the communication channel.
"Watch out for the grenade!"
"Boom!!"
A blinding red light flared up, and a small zone in front of them was engulfed in a powerful explosion.
The four charging mutants were blasted away in an instant.
"Run! Good job!!"
Amidst the dust, Morris shouted while reloading, firing towards that direction.
He knew that the attack just now was Run’s throw of the Plasma Magnetic Storm Hand Grenade, the weapon found in the blood packs earlier.
Seeing the grenade’s power, Morris clicked his tongue, regretting not grabbing one or two of those earlier.
After all, this was alien technology. Using it against those guys was like fighting poison with poison, proving highly effective.
