Capítulo 1225: Chapter 221: Ons of Arrival 2
“One to three days… Alright, I understand, I will notify all personnel imdiately to be ready for the attack.”
Jannan, however, called him back with a displeased tone:
“Don’t rush, if you go over there to strategize now, how do you plan to handle it? Do you know its abilities? Do you understand its attack thods? Blindly firing will only get you killed faster.”
“Ah! Teacher, you an…”
Jannan nodded towards the back, and an Awakener handed over a small USB drive.
“Take it, this contains so intelligence we collected and analyzed, as well as regular effective ans for dealing with such events. It also includes the battle plan we have provided, which can greatly aid in fighting against the Alien Species.”
Carefully receiving the black USB drive handed over, Dylan felt as though the thing in his hand was extrely heavy.
“Teacher… Thank you, I will make good use of it…”
Dylan bowed sincerely to Jannan.
He knew that the files on this USB drive were truly priceless treasures.
He had been longing for this day and night, and finally, he could hold it.
“Hehe, no need to thank . After all, we have reached a consensus in the sharing plan, consider this intelligence as an early reference for you.”
Dylan paused, feeling quite moved by the trust the other party showed him.
After expressing his gratitude again, he turned and left.
He was preparing to return and carefully discuss and study the tactics with his advisors; the ti left for them was running out.
“Instructor, is it okay to just give them the intelligence like this? What if they suddenly go back on their word after getting it, then we…”
After Dylan left, the Awakener who delivered the USB drive suddenly asked.
Jannan shook his head.
“No, those politicians may fail to see the bigger picture sotis, but they are not fools. After seeing that intelligence, I believe they will know what to do.”
At this point, a glint appeared in his eyes.
“Moreover, I don’t think they would deceive us; they understand the consequences of doing so better than we do. These old foxes are quite cunning…”
…
Three days passed quickly, and the situation at the Kandokreek Prairie grew increasingly tense.
Although the influence range of the Black Mountain Goat did not continue to expand, the pressure in everyone’s hearts only grew heavier.
The reason being that everyone knew, the real body of that monster was about to descend.
Even from over a hundred kiloters away, they could feel the terrifying aura emanating from the prairie.
It’s a kind of oppression that cannot be described in words.
Like exaggerated special effects in movies.
Now, when they looked in that direction, it seed as if the sky itself darkened.
The three days were almost at their limit.
Now, anyone could see that the projection of the Black Mountain Goat seed ready to materialize any mont and could descend at any ti.
However, what made Dylan, the Commander, even more uneasy was the sudden increase in tension among mbers of the Star Alliance, compared to the beginning.
Originally, there was one Controller and seven or eight Enlighteners here, naly Jannan and those Awakeners.
But just a mont ago, another dozen people arrived.
Leading them was a new Controller, who seed also to be an instructor of the Star Alliance, code-nad “Taotie.”
Even if Dylan wasn’t too familiar with the levels within the Star Alliance, after this period of exposure, he roughly understood one thing.
That a Controller’s power belongs to a very strong tier within the Star Alliance, and above them are Transcendents comparable to the Divine.
But now, the Star Alliance suddenly dispatched another Controller here.
And even brought over a dozen people, this sudden reinforcent could only make Dylan feel nervous.
“Teacher, what’s going on? Why did you suddenly send so many people? Did the situation change…?”
In the conference room, Dylan was asking Jannan what exactly was happening.
“The situation has changed, it’s more serious than we imagined, you need to deploy more personnel, just the three or four corps here are not enough, quickly contact your Cabinet and send more people over!”
Jannan looked at him with an extrely serious expression.
Dylan was slightly bewildered, still in a state of confusion.
“This is an image we just collected, from the air above the Black Mountain Goat central region, take a look.”
As usual, Jannan projected a holographic image onto the conference table in front of them.
When it ca to such ans, the advisors were quite envious.
Unfortunately, they could not currently be equipped with Starry Mobile, and thus cannot use this kind of holographic imagery.
“Wait, first, put this on.”
Jannan suddenly called out to the group, then distributed a small Jade Token to each of them.
It was a white, delicate-looking Jade Token, about the size of a fingernail, with a string attached, seemingly ant to be worn around the neck.
“This is the Spirit-attaching Jade, considered a Dark Spiritual Artifact. It has a Calming Incantation attached; after wearing it, you won’t be influenced by the rational interference from observing the Black Mountain Goat for a short period of ti.”
Everyone’s eyes lit up when they heard this, and they quickly put it around their necks.
The shadow of the Black Mountain Goat had a very troubleso characteristic.
Not only would those who approached it grow white fur all over their bodies, turning into those hideous, terrifying monsters.
Even from infinite distances, re observation through images and recordings would still have so impact.
Over ti, it would cause so ntal disturbances, leading to irritability, and eventually even hallucinations.
Faced with such circumstances, everyone could only pin their hopes on the Star Alliance.
Counting on them to use their magical abilities to calm a person’s emotions.
But hearing now that this seemingly trivial little Jade Pendant had such functionality was extrely important for these advisors.
Even without the threat of the Black Mountain Goat, being able to maintain calm through the Calming Incantation at any ti was a powerful artifact.
Who would’ve thought, the Star Alliance was so generous that they would give away such treasures so easily.
Being allies with such a group was simply wonderful.
They actually didn’t know that these Jade Pendants weren’t anything particularly formidable.
They were mostly made from leftover materials of Spirit Stones, barely qualifying as Dark Spiritual Artifacts.
Once they all put on the Jade Pendants, Jannan continued playing the holographic projection, restoring the static image.
In the footage, the sky was filled with the shadow of a black goat constantly flickering above the earth.
Its size remained much the sa as before, about thirty ters long.
However, the shadow it cast was almost solid, intensely black as ink.
Yet, the focus this ti was not on the ground.
As the image elevated, the cara finally focused on the sky above.
A stream of airflow was visibly converging in the sky.
Nearby, purple arcs of electricity flickered, giving an eerie appearance.
“What’s going on? Is sothing happening in the sky? Is that what you’re worried about?”
An advisor couldn’t help but ask.
Jannan wore a solemn expression.
He stretched out a hand, pointing at three different positions on the holographic image.
“One, two, three, a total of three points; if I’m not mistaken, these are the signs of Dinsion Rifts forming…”
“Which ans, three Dinsion Rifts might appear above the Kandokreek Prairie…”
