"Is it possible that Lord Jixing... is actually... an Undead Mage...?"
Ifei felt she had uncovered a monuntal secret.
She finally understood why the person in front of her, despite being a Holy Rank power, remained unknown to everyone.
She also realized why he appeared so young yet had reached his current realm.
Perhaps this Lord Jixing was actually a mber of the Undead Clan!
Ifei felt her legs turn a bit weak.
No matter where, humans instinctively feel fear when faced with the unknown.
"An Undead... it does indeed match the legends..."
Zhang Xiaoman naturally also heard the exclamation from the girl behind him and was equally astonished by everything that was happening before him.
Never did he expect that a healing Skill like Holy Spirit Radiance, when combined with the Yin Negative Structure, would transform into the legendary Undead Magic, sothing he had never imagined.
He could clearly sense the fluctuations of the undead little white mouse through the connection of spiritual power, and even manipulate it.
However, perhaps because this little white mouse’s level was too low, its strength seed unimpressive, almost akin to an ordinary First Rank Demon Beast.
But even a First Rank Demon Beast was an unparalleled enhancent.
After all, this mouse, when alive, was rely a common little animal with no combat power whatsoever.
Zhang Xiaoman pondered for a while and ultimately abandoned the impulse to reach out and pick it up.
There was no way around it; it looked too disgusting on the outside.
Even though it’s now his summoning, Zhang Xiaoman didn’t want to touch such a mummified object.
"If I can further improve the Magic Technique of Holy Spirit Radiance, I might be able to enhance its strength... Hmm... it seems a bit inappropriate to still call it ’Holy Spirit Radiance’ now... let’s just call it ’Resurrection of the Dead’..."
Zhang Xiaoman thought to himself, then checked his watch and realized it was almost ti for the eting, so he stopped observing and turned to head to the palace.
As he was leaving, to prevent any accidents from happening here, he cast a Barrier to seal the surrounding area, even blocking Ifei temporarily.
...
anwhile, in the Yellow Jade Court of the Adren Palace, several figures were sitting on luxurious chairs, sipping tea in front of them.
In the room, several ministers stood scattered around.
These individuals were all top dignitaries of the country, but at this mont, they could only bow and stand below, without even a seat.
There were four seats on the platform, three occupied, and one left empty.
Those seated were the King of the Human Kingdom, Rol, Human Holy Demon Master, McCarthy Larentra, and the Elf Queen Regina.
Of these three, two were Ninth Rank Holy Ones, and one was the current King, making them the most esteed figures present.
As for the last empty seat, it was naturally reserved for the remaining Holy Rank power of the eting, the one referred to as the Holy Demon Master Jixing.
"The appointed ti is almost here, hasn’t Lord Jixing arrived yet?"
Rol inquired.
"No need to worry, Fox has already delivered the ssage. Since he said he’d return, he certainly won’t go back on his word."
McCarthy spoke, appearing confident.
Regina, furrowing her brows slightly, remained silent and continued to savor the fragrant tea before her.
"Teacher, thank you so much for everything you’ve done for the kingdom, and Queen Regina, for your joining as well. The northern battlefront is tense, and we urgently need reinforcents. With the Elf Clan’s participation, we’ll surely send those Beastn running this ti."
Seeing that Jixing hadn’t arrived, Rol took the opportunity to catch up with his teacher.
"King Miller, you overstate it. Humans and Elves have been allies for generations. Facing the Beastn’s invasion, of course, we’ll stand together against them."
Regina graciously replied.
Though Rol was young and had average power, he was the Human Kingdom’s King, representing the entire Human Clan. As an ally in the talks, she couldn’t possibly not show him respect.
On the side, McCarthy seed slightly displeased with his student’s impatience but refrained from criticizing, instead signaling him with a glance to stay calm.
Rol sheepishly rubbed his knees.
He was sowhat too excited.
The Beast Race’s offensive had left him overwheld, and finally, the Holy Demon Master McCarthy Larentra had returned.
Moreover, he brought full support from the Elves and Dwarves, news so good it rendered him visibly pleased.
McCarthy sighed quietly.
His student was still too young.
Just having ascended the throne, Rol was yet to mature in many ways. While he was exceptional for an ordinary person, as an Emperor, he seed rather inexperienced.
But McCarthy was his teacher, and a friend of his father. Entrusted by the late King, he was duty-bound to protect this child to the fullest.
Below, several Grand Dukes, usually powerful personalities in court, couldn’t utter a word and rely stared at the ground tiles, waiting for the eting’s official start.
About two more minutes passed when a commotion, subdued but significant, erupted outside the hall, seemingly due to the guards noticing sothing unusual.
"Bang!!!"
Outside the door, a loud crash sounded, accompanied by the rumble of shattering stones.
"Do not obstruct! Let him in!"
McCarthy imdiately guessed what was happening there and shouted loudly to the outside.
The guards who had just drawn their weapons breathed a sigh of relief and quickly moved aside.
The scene had been quite alarming.
They stood peacefully at the entrance when suddenly, soone descended from the sky so swiftly they barely saw it, and the ground was already left with a large depression.
The guards knew about the eting, but they were confused—wasn’t a Human Holy Demon Master supposed to arrive?
The guards looked again at the spot where the person had landed, recalling the descent that was like the Heavenly God Descent, and confidence waned.
Was this really a Holy Demon Master, or a Combat Master?
Such terrifying power—any Great War Master would surely be flattened into the ground.
They gulped.
Better not to ponder Holy Rank matters, clearly out of their league.
"Jixing, you’ve arrived."
McCarthy was the first to rise upon seeing the newcor, offering a standard mage’s salute.
Those beside him followed suit, all turning their gaze to the newcor, each paying their respects.
All except Elf Queen Regina, the others present were Nobles from the Adren Kingdom, performing the noble’s general etiquette.
Zhang Xiaoman halted and gave a Star Touching Ceremony gesture to everyone.
Simultaneously, he lightly waved his right hand behind him, and under the astonished gaze of the guards, the enormous pit he’d made with his landing began to nd itself.
Thus, the first formal eting of the Unshacklers Association’s internal mbers was concluded.
Zhang Xiaoman turned his attention imdiately to McCarthy and Regina on the platform.
He recognized them, having already t through holographic projections.
"The aura of the Holy Rank is indeed much stronger than the Eighth Rank."
This was his first impression upon seeing them.
Though separated by several ters, he could still sense the Elental Power intensity around their bodies through the Dark Energy field.
Without exaggeration, either of them had an energy capacity significantly exceeding his own.
