The sound of a sharp blade slicing through an object echoed.
A translucent magic crystal suddenly appeared around McCarthy, tightly enclosing him within.
However, Urbis’s long spear did not penetrate the crystal, only embedded itself a few dozen centiters before getting stuck.
"Ice Crystal Amber... this spell won’t protect you for long, your failure is inevitable."
Urbis clearly understood the strong defensive power of this spell.
He withdrew the spear but did not attack imdiately, instead waiting patiently.
McCarthy’s expression was motionless within the Ice Crystal Amber.
He appeared frozen inside, well-protected yet unable to move.
"Hurry up! Ice Crystal Amber won’t last long! We must go now!"
Regina and Acatus anxiously flew off the city walls.
But just as they had rushed out, the situation suddenly changed.
A breeze blew by, revealing a faint glow beneath the thick dust on the ground below McCarthy’s ice crystal form.
Urbis’s eyes scanned this scene, subtly changing color.
"Teleportation Technique!?"
He growled lowly, quickly thrusting his spear intending to destroy the array.
However, the teleportation array was already completed.
A flash of light, and McCarthy’s figure suddenly vanished, reappearing in the Holy Temple of Kuhan City.
anwhile, above the ruins, a blinding red light erupted beneath Urbis’s feet.
Then, a massive fire pillar ten ters in diater shot skyward, engulfing him.
Seeing this scene, Regina and Acatus were montarily stunned, then joyfully exclaid:
"It’s a Teleportation Technique! Go! Let’s join him!"
The two turned back, while Urbis bore the brunt of McCarthy’s Earth Intense Fire Trap attack.
When the flas dissipated, he was half-kneeling on the ground, gasping heavily.
The attack had clearly inflicted significant harm.
The golden armor on his body had also expended much energy, visibly dimming.
"Hehe... Lessentara, I underestimated you..."
Urbis cast a venomous glance toward Kuhan City, choosing not to pursue further, but instead returned to the rear of the Beastman Army to eliminate the threat there first.
At this ti, above the Beastman Army, the battle between the Black Dragon Clan and the Elental Dragons had concluded.
Except for Elcurus, all Elental Dragons were surrounded and killed by the Black Dragons, none survived.
Yet the Black Dragon Clan did not fare well.
The strength of seven adult giant dragons was formidable, and their desperate counterattacks were fierce, reducing the thirty-strong Black Dragon army by half.
The battlefield was covered in scorching dragon blood.
Any Beastman who touched this blood was burned alive if their strength was inadequate.
As for Elcurus, he was besieged by five Black Dragons, already covered in wounds, a shadow of his forr ferocious self.
One Black Dragon tried sneaking an attack from behind, but Elcurus suddenly turned and bit its neck, killing it.
Elcurus, enraged, breathed torrents of golden flas and charged left and right at the Black Dragons.
His size was the largest among all the dragons present.
Even the two Ninth-Rank Black Dragons were smaller, giving him a significant advantage in lee combat.
"Roar!!"
He suddenly roared skyward, golden flas appearing around him.
"Damn Black Dragons, low-level and barbaric species, you’re unfit to be called giant dragons! I, the Guardian of Order, Elcurus, shall bring you death! I am the embodint of strength! Bow before , you scum!!"
The golden flas suddenly burst forth around Elcurus, igniting everything within a kiloter radius with powerful Dragon Breath Spell.
The great fire incinerated everything; Beastn and Black Dragons alike howled in agony under the sea of flas.
Weaker Beastman warriors were evaporated by the golden flas, while the stronger Black Dragons suffered injuries or death.
Even several Shamans equipped with Ard Rings were overwheld, their rings dimming instantly.
"Elcurus!!!"
Two Ninth-Rank Black Dragons glared angrily; they hadn’t expected such strength from the Golden Holy Dragon King.
The Black Dragon Clan suffered heavy losses in this battle.
Despite being close to defeating their foe, the costly price paid was unbearable.
Having used his ultimate attack to clear weaker enemies, Elcurus regained freedom and soared skyward.
Urbis returned, eyeing the golden giant dragon king in the sky with a heavy gaze.
Although aware of the enemy’s depletion, if it remained airborne, there was little he could do.
Elcurus, unlike Eighth-Rank dragons, would be hard to hit with a spear, and even if hit, might not be gravely injured.
Moreover, giant dragons were naturally skilled aerial fighters.
Urbis had no confidence to defeat it in the sky, even though it was severely wounded.
"Jilinget! Pujekrus! What are you waiting for!"
Urbis turned his gaze to the two Ninth-Rank Black Dragons, signaling them to continue the attack.
However, these two Black Dragons were also exhausted.
Having been hit by Elcurus’s ultimate attack earlier, they were struggling to recover.
Seeing the golden dragon about to escape, Urbis rushed to block its path when a dazzling light shot across the sky.
Once regaining senses, a hundred-ter-long golden spear mysteriously appeared close by.
In the next second, it pierced through Elcurus’s body, knocking it from the sky to the ground, dead.
"Oh no!!"
Inside Kuhan City, McCarthy observed this through magic, breaking out in a cold sweat.
"Elcurus... is dead..."
McCarthy seed to lose all strength, slumping into the chair.
The faces of other Holy Ones nearby changed as well; this news was beyond their expectations.
Elcurus had reached the Ninth-Rank Peak, a giant dragon, seemingly invincible on this continent.
Yet, here was the impossible occurrence.
Though nothing on this continent could kill it, soone in the sky beyond succeeded.
The hundred-ter spear from the sky had ended the Holy Dragon King, the attacker easily guessed.
"Light God, Lula Bada!"
McCarthy uttered each word slowly, eyes filled with fury and shock.
The spear spanning heaven and earth pierced Elcurus’s body, witnessed firsthand by him.
Those tough dragon scales seed like paper, offering no defense.
Such terrifying strength, astounded everyone.
With Elcurus’s demise, the Saint Association lost a Holy One.
Though the golden dragon had strained relations with others, it was undeniably an irreplaceable powerhouse.
Now, with such a mighty force lost, their ensuing battles grew increasingly difficult.
