"Ratatatatata~"
A burst of gunfire erupted, and the seven or eight gunn behind couldn’t help but feel terrified, instinctively pulling the trigger.
To their credit as the elite mbers of the gang, their ntal and physical fortitude was a cut above other survivors, and under the monster’s roar, they didn’t collapse.
However, the bullets from their rifles, when hitting the Blood Claw, had no effect whatsoever.
The monster’s fur was as impenetrable as steel needles, completely deflecting the modified 8mm bullets without even a scratch.
In truth, this situation was within Jiko’s expectations.
After all, even the plasma cannon, which delivered high-speed kinetic energy with a powerful electromagnetic pulse, couldn’t harm it. That heat of over 2500 degrees was ineffective, so how could primitive firearms possibly penetrate its defenses?
"Fools! Get back! Don’t make things worse here!"
Faced with their suicidal actions, Jiko imdiately cursed angrily.
It wasn’t that he wanted to face this monster alone, but rather, these people could only hold him back without being any help.
If he were facing a Level 1 or Level 2 alien species, then with these weapons, there could be so degree of restraint.
But now standing before him was a Third-level alien species, the Blood Claw known for its defense and attack.
These ordinary people without extraordinary power were nothing but easy pickings in front of it. With weapons unable to breach defenses, they were essentially useless.
The mbers of the Wolf Fang Gang, after being scolded by Jiko, finally ca to their senses, retreated in fear, and then ran into the theater without looking back.
"Heh, the nuisances are finally gone..."
Jiko stared at the monster before him, a hint of madness in his smile.
At this mont, the energy of the plasma cannon in his hand was nearly depleted, and its suppression on the monster was weakening.
Not far away, the werewolf-like being raised its sharp Blood Claws, shockingly deflecting the plasma beam, advancing forward through the onslaught.
Jiko quickly glanced at the compass in his hand, saw its glow dim, then decisively discarded the shield and pulled a small remote control switch from his pocket, pressing it lightly towards the distance.
"Boom boom boom!"
A series of explosions erupted; along the path the scholars must take, several pre-buried plasma bombs were detonated, engulfing the area with dazzling blue light.
Without hesitation, Jiko continued, forming several spell signs with his hand, casting a series of Dark Energy Formulas.

A string of enhanced states was applied to himself. Jiko clasped his hands together, then slowly spread them apart, and a silver-white long spear appeared in his hands.
This was the standard issue of the Forest Guardians; although not top-notch, it was a Dark Spiritual Artifact with decent defense-piercing properties.
Having done all this, the blue light before him dissipated, and a silhouette slowly erged from it.
It was the Blood Claw!
The recent plasma bomb attack only damaged its fur but wasn’t lethal.
The monster shook its head, and in just a few steps, its physical wounds began to heal at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Seeing how terrifyingly fast it healed, Jiko’s eyelid couldn’t help but twitch.
Just as recorded in the Alien Species Manual, this guy’s attack and physical strength were extraordinary, and its self-healing speed was incredibly strong, almost catching up with those of the Calamity Species.
This wasn’t rely a werewolf in front of him; it was practically a reinforced beast-shaped Wolverine.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!"
Several sounds split the air as Jiko raised his hand, shooting a few crossbow arrows glistening with silver light.
Taking advantage of the monster being a bit dazed by the explosion, he launched another sneak attack.
With a flash of silver light, a few crossbow arrows imdiately hit the target.
"Sizzle!"
A burning sound arose; the Blood Claw’s previously impenetrable body was pierced by these small crossbow arrows, and smoke began to rise from the wounds as if set ablaze.
"Heh, these Holy Silver Arrows aren’t bad. To think a wide-eyed werewolf like you is also susceptible to Demon Series restraint effects, truly a legendary dark creature."
Jiko had initially attacked casually, not expecting such an outstanding effect, sothing that seed unrecorded in the previous Alien Species Manual.
What a sha, though, that he only carried three such arrows; had he known this would happen, he would’ve brought more.
Raising his hand, he threw the long spear fiercely at the monster.
Due to the stiffness effect from the previous three crossbow arrows, the spear successfully hit, piercing its chest through and through with the injection of Dark Spiritual Power, directly breaching defenses.
"Roar!"
The Blood Claw let out an angry roar.
Despite such severe wounds, it seed unaffected, only made angrier.
The monster went on all fours, sprinting towards Jiko as if it ant to tear him apart.
After throwing the long spear, Jiko instantly used the summoning machine to summon the silver long spear back into his hand once again.
