Zhang Xiaoman stepped off the Lessentara, taking a deep breath.
The air tasted sweeter than expected, not at all like the dirty smoke and pungent engine oil suggested by the surroundings.
"Welco to you, esteed Sentry Captain."
Outside the door, a group of people in blue uniforms stood in two columns. Seeing Zhang Xiaoman and his companions erge, they bowed in unison and greeted them.
In the lead, a tall man in similar blue attire stepped forward a few paces. After quickly scanning the crowd, his eyes locked onto Ziwei.
"Esteed Sentry Captain, greetings. I am Bati, the Highest Administrative Officer of this planet. On behalf of Skull Star, I welco your arrival."
The man bowed again, exuding an attitude of utmost humility.
Zhang Xiaoman was utterly stunned by the scene before him; he never imagined such a reception for him and his group.
Though aware of Ziwei’s formidable strength as a Middle-level Controller, he didn’t expect her status to be so high that even the planet’s Highest Administrative Officer was personally welcoming them.
Zhang Xiaoman had heard from Ziwei that she was a Shadow Sentinel Captain in the Guardian Spirit Organization of the Dark Spirit Star Domain Alliance, directly answering to the Star Spirit Council, effectively making her an official representative.
In view of her captaincy and remarkable prowess, receiving such treatnt here was naturally unsurprising.
In reality, Zhang Xiaoman had committed an error of presumption by associating this scenario with the circumstances back on Water Blue Star.
On Water Blue Star or Guleng Star, whoever dared to claim they were the ruler of the planet was either a madman or had absolute power to back such a statent.
Thus, for the Water Blue Star people, a planet’s Highest Administrative Officer was undoubtedly a dominator-level existence; in novels, they’d be either the protagonist or the main villain.
But here, within the Dark Spirit Star Domain Alliance spanning multiple super star systems, this position was akin to being a county magistrate in a nation.
Of course, for the planet’s residents, the status of the Highest Administrative Officer remained an unreachably high position.
However, to soone like Ziwei, who was of the rank as a Star Spirit Council direct operative like Bati, he had no real standing in her presence.
It was only at this point that Zhang Xiaoman truly realized the esteed status this sowhat rough-and-tumble-looking woman held in the Dark Star Alliance.
He couldn’t bla himself; Ziwei’s usual deanor and actions were so unlike one would expect from soone of her rank, leading others to downplay her background.
"Well, I’ve troubled you, but I’m just here to rest for a few days before returning to the Dark Spirit Star System to submit a mission report. You carry on as if I’m not here."
Ziwei, displaying her typical aversion to hassle, waved her hand to indicate they should leave.
Zhang Xiaoman had co to understand that although she was powerful, Ziwei was not adept at socializing, particularly disliking crowded places and idle chatter.
Recognizing her stance, Bati wisely refrained from further engagent.
He rely left his contact information, saying she could reach out at any ti if needed, and then promptly departed with his entourage; truly swift in his comings and goings.
Zhang Xiaoman thus observed how the people on this planet conducted themselves.
They had little ti for convoluted formalities, seeming to highly value efficiency.
Decisive and straightforward.
"Let’s go too. I know a nice inn with a unique environnt. Hopefully, it’s still open. If it is, we can settle down there."
Ziwei turned and spoke to Zhang Xiaoman.
"Oh, by the way, I’ve already arranged for soone to look after Elcurus and the others. They need to complete an identity registration first; being non-Spiritual Wisdom Clan makes the process more complicated. Once that’s done, I’ll have soone bring them to the inn."
Zhang Xiaoman felt quite relieved seeing her arrangents made so thoroughly, thankful for a guide familiar with the area for their journey.
Soon, the group left the port platform and made their way through a passageway into a large hall.
This was akin to a customs area, intended for identity verification of incoming personnel.
Various goods and such inevitably had to pass through here as well.
As soone personally received by Bati, the Sentry Captain Ziwei needed no registration. However, Zhang Xiaoman and his hundreds of undead faced no such convenience.
Since they were all first-ti arrivals in the Dark Star Alliance, they had absolutely no personal data.
This kind of undocunted status was obviously unfeasible here, requiring a simple identity registration first.
Fortunately, identity registration was not as daunting as imagined.
As a non-core region planet of the Dark Star Alliance, Skull Star regularly received large numbers of undocunted individuals.
Most of these people, like the undead, were here for the first ti, needing to handle their identity information as well.
The staff in the hall was evidently accustod to such situations.
Following their usual procedures, they had Zhang Xiaoman and the others queue through a scanning checkpoint, where a naless machine generated their corresponding personal terminal devices.
