Indeed, they weren’t in New York City purely for leisure. Under the control of Su Fu and Anna, they rarely had the chance to leave Rebirth Island. Usually, they lived in the Sky Garden, and their routine consisted mainly of studying and cultivation or playing with the spiritual beasts on the island. Though Wandering Spirits were alien species, they weren’t particularly aggressive, but their defense against physical attacks was notably strong. Being pure energy bodies, ordinary people, even ard with powerful hot weapons, were powerless against them.
However, Su Kuangkuan and Eva, as Dark Spirits from the Star Alliance, had plenty of ans to deal with spiritual entities, and a Wandering Spirit was child’s play for them.
Of course, the information provided was only partial, not absolute, and no one could guarantee every mission would go off without a hitch. Hence, for the girls’ safety, Su Fu had still arranged for an acquaintance to accompany them.

However, a watch alone doesn’t an much. So people modify the appearance as a disguise, pretending to own an expensive ride, similar to how on the forr Water Blue Star, owning a luxury car keychain didn’t an you had a luxury car.
Clearly aware of this, the man lightly tapped his watch, and soon a jet-black anti-gravity car descended from the sky, landing beside the group.
