However, it is both a triumph and a downfall. Because rebirth is a process from decay and destruction to prosperity and resurrection, this process invariably requires ti.
The greater the force of destruction a certain entity endures, the longer the process of rebirth will take to complete.
In other words, Naphaya is not dead at the mont but is in the process of rebirth.
The attack accumulated by the Shadow Demon King earlier inflicted terrifying excess damage on him, which drastically extended Naphaya’s rebirth ti, resulting in his continued absence.
Su Changqing couldn’t help but rember Naphaya’s previous words that the power of rebirth is extrely rare even among the Holy Angel Clan, but not only he possesses it; other Holy Angels also have this ability, such as their Holy Master.
The Holy Master, killed by the Demon Lord, suffered unimaginable damage, leading to an excessively slow rebirth ti. Countless ages have passed since the destruction, yet he remains in the process of rebirth, with no end in sight, essentially rendering him as good as dead.
This is the weakness of rebirth. Now Nai Wenmo’er has exploited this weakness to trap Naphaya in the process of rebirth, aning he is now free to deal with others on Water Blue Star.

As his voice fell, his gaze locked onto the crowd closest to Da Niu, the ones who had just interrupted his actions. He hadn’t forgotten about them, and besides, these individuals are quite powerful; devouring them should restore a good amount of his strength.
Naphaya waved his arm, sending forth a rain of fireballs composed of countless black fireballs aid at the crowd. So civilians and warriors of the Anti-Demon Army turned ashen-faced, for the pressure from the fire rain was too overwhelming, as if just a glance could pull their souls away.
"Watch out!"
Ziwei and Su Changqing, among others, prepared their stances to resist the enemy; a combined defensive magic array already unfurled. If they can withstand the opponent’s attack and hold out until Naphaya completes rebirth, then there’s still hope.
However, those fire rains couldn’t reach the defensive magic array the crowd had set up, instead bursting and dissipating into black fireworks in the sky.
"What’s happening!?"
Soone faced this situation without understanding what transpired, thinking it was another sche by the Shadow Demon King.
Yet, Ye Yunxiu and others were pleasantly surprised, saying:
"It’s Da Niu! Da Niu blocked those attacks!"

The crowd was montarily stunned before realizing.
They were on Da Niu’s back, where it forms its own realm. To attack this place, one must first break Da Niu’s defense.
Yet the crowd was sowhat astonished; though they knew Da Niu’s defensive power was strong, they never imagined it could be so strong as to easily repel Nai Wenmo’er’s fire rain.
Nai Wenmo’er, too, was montarily taken aback by what happened, surprised that his attack was ineffective. What in the world is this colossal entity; how can its shell be so sturdy?
He incredulously launched several more attacks, but all were effortlessly blocked by Da Niu, leaving him extrely furious for a mont.
"Humph! What good is strong defensive power! Can you withstand this blow?"
As he spoke, he infused his attack with the Power Sequence, consuming a large portion of the spiritual energy he’d just recovered.
"Not good! He activated the Divine Domain; Da Niu surely can’t withstand this strike!"
Soone couldn’t help but exclaim.
Ziwei clenched his fists, his gaze fixed on the swiftly incoming black flas, ready to provide support at any mont.
However, contrary to expectations, when the cluster of black flas touched Da Niu’s shell, it rely shook it a bit and then, just like the previous attacks, completely dissipated.
"Not broken through!?"
At this mont, not only the crowd on Da Niu’s back but even the Shadow Demon King Nai Wenmo’er stood stunned.
None imagined that even an attack imbued with the Divine Domain couldn’t breach the defense of this giant snail. What sort of creature is this!
Ziwei’s expression changed for a mont, then seed thoughtful, nodding:
"Though the Power Sequence is unrivaled, it is not invincible. There are countless extraordinary entities in the universe beyond our understanding. Just as I know of more than five thods to neutralize such attacks, perhaps Da Niu possesses so special powers, or perhaps... its constitution is so strong that resisting such an attack isn’t impossible..."

Su Changqing pondered upon hearing this, understanding so of the reasoning.
It’s akin to an attack with Dark Spiritual Power that can penetrate ordinary matter; though ordinary people can’t use corresponding thods to resist, if their life force is resilient enough, even if struck, they won’t perish. Da Niu likely exhibits such a scenario.
"Buzz, buzz, buzz~"
The crowd felt as if the earth underneath moved a bit; Da Niu, having withstood the blow, didn’t seem as unaffected as it appeared on the surface, possibly reacting slowly, and only now showing signs of movent.

Just then, a babyish, angry cry erged from a cave in the forest, accompanied by a few barks.
The crowd instinctively looked up, only to see a Little Fox, glowing blue all over, riding a small yellow-haired dog to fly into the sky, both creatures looking as if they had just woken up, yelling and yawning intermittently.
"Jin Bao!?"
"Jiu Jiu!?"
Recognizable individuals called out their nas, followed by a collective sense of helplessness.
Even as the battle raged with heaven and earth shattering, these two were oblivious, hiding on Da Niu’s back to nap!
"Jiu Jiu Jiu Jiu Jiu!"
"Woof Woof Woof Woof Woof!"
The two little creatures shouted in the sky, and suddenly Jiu Jiu, on Jin Bao’s back, leaped out, charging straight outside the Barrier. Given its angry expression, it was clear it intended to rush out to avenge its recently beaten underling.
"Jiu Jiu!"
Lin Sisi couldn’t help but call out its na, but the little thing was incredibly fast, already out, making it too late to stop it.
Nai Wenmo’er, puzzled that his previous attack didn’t break the defense, saw a small figure flying off Da Niu’s back, turning out to be a Little Fox glowing with blue light.
"Jiu Jiu Jiu!"
The Little Fox cried indignantly at him; seeing this, Nai Wenmo’er’s fury flared.
Despite being a newly ascended Transcendent, how co all sorts of creatures dare talk to him!
That large snail’s defense is unusual; he couldn’t do anything about it, but why is this insignificant creature daring to confront him? Doesn’t respecting matter!?
Thinking thus, Nai Wenmo’er casually launched a dark fireball, hitting Jiu Jiu’s face, knocking it from the sky; then, without further concern, he even bypassed Da Niu before setting his sights on the city behind.
His ti is limited; he couldn’t waste more here, needing to devour this world before the Holy Angel finishes rebirth to restore his strength.
Since this large snail’s defense is astonishing, he wasn’t stubborn, opting to ignore it for now. After recovering his power, dealing with it wouldn’t be too late.
