573: Chapter 448 Angel?

573: Chapter 448 Angel?

“Bang!!”

A loud crash echoed as Zhang Xiaoman slamd his fist into the giant cocoon with the montum of his charge.

His mighty strength blasted forth, instantly covering it with dense cracks.

“Thud, thud, thud, thud, thud!!”

A series of heartbeat-like sounds ca from within the cocoon, and faintly, a pained howl seed to reach his ears.

“It didn’t break!”

Zhang Xiaoman was also taken aback.

You see, his strike just now, empowered with the Dark Energy Shock and the Bounce Five Flashes, was capable of instantly killing a Swamp Giant.

Yet the giant cocoon only cracked without shattering as he had imagined.

“If just a cocoon is this troubleso, I definitely can’t let you hatch.”

As he said this, he took out two bottles of Unicorn Blood and without hesitation, smashed them onto the cocoon.

Imdiately, the silver-white liquid flowed out, spreading downward along the edges.

Although it was a re sixty milliliters, which seed insignificant compared to the size of the cocoon,

wherever it passed, it brought forth billowing smoke, and this burning sensation continued to expand around it.

In the end, at the spot where Zhang Xiaoman stood, a ring of white gelatinous substance on the cocoon’s exterior was entirely eroded away, revealing a soft, thin mbrane beneath.

The Horror Demons, upon witnessing this scene, let out thunderous roars, reaching out to snatch this insignificant creature, but no matter what, they couldn’t shake him in the slightest.

Zhang Xiaoman ignored their interference and once again raised his fist high, using the sa move to ruthlessly hamr down on that thin mbrane.

“Crack~crack~”

Sounds of eggshell breaking rang out, and the cracks on the cocoon expanded further, with milky white liquid beginning to seep out and quickly soaking the surrounding ground.

“It’s not enough, still not enough!”

Zhang Xiaoman was extrely anxious; his Little Golden Man form had already lasted over half the allotted ti, and he had to find a way to completely deal with this thing.

Grinding his teeth, he reached behind him and drew the Mountain and River Sword from the Sword Box, then flipped the blade and thrust fiercely towards an opening in the cocoon.

The Mountain and River Sword was incredibly sharp, piercing straight in as if it was no more than the sword’s handle.

Zhang Xiaoman was overjoyed to see this, and imdiately used a Dark Energy Shock as a propelling force, gripping the Mountain and River Sword, he sliced open the giant cocoon from top to bottom.

“Whoosh~”

As the cocoon split open, a mass of milky white liquid gushed out, overflowing like a breached dam.

Zhang Xiaoman landed on the ground, looking up at the situation inside the cocoon.

Inside, an enormous figure, pure white all over, was curled up motionless, seemingly lifeless, with no signs of movent.

“Is it dead?”

Zhang Xiaoman couldn’t determine its status for a mont, but he still planned to take advantage of the last twenty seconds of invincibility to deliver another blow to the opponent.

However, just as he was about to act, the snow-white figure moved.

Zhang Xiaoman saw its head suddenly lift, looking directly towards him.

“Fuck!”

The sudden shift in the scene made him curse involuntarily.

The face of the creature was different from a typical Horror Demon; apart from a mouth that took up more than half of its visage, it also had six blood-red eyes.

At this mont, all six eyes were rolling around: two were looking at Zhang Xiaoman, two were surveying the surroundings, and the last two were continuously sizing up its own body.

“Did the eyes from the palm of its hand move to its head?”

Zhang Xiaoman caught a glimpse of the creature’s six arms out of the corner of his eye and noticed sothing unusual about them.

Then, sothing sowhat unexpected happened; the monster suddenly spoke.

A series of obscure and indescribable sounds, like a terrifying whisper, emanated from its mouth.

“Rasgor Salieraha Nidhogg Oin…”

With each syllable the creature uttered, its body rose slightly higher until it finally stood up, tearing apart the tattered cocoon to reveal its full form.

This thing was indeed a lot taller than the cocoon, reaching a height of nearly eighty ters, with six arms on its body, much like those of the Horror Demons.

However, the difference lay in the pair of wings on its back, which seed much larger than those of a typical Horror Demon.

Although they were still folded, it was already clear that their size would definitely surpass that of the monster’s own body.

Besides that, this gigantic Horror Demon bore several ghastly wounds of varying sizes across its body; inside so of them, one could even faintly make out things that resembled bones.

It was evident that these overtly discordant wounds had likely occurred because the creature’s evolution had been interrupted.

In the anti, Zhang Xiaoman certainly wasn’t just going to stand by and watch; he attacked without hesitation.

However, due to the outburst he had just experienced, his Dark Energy had hit rock bottom.

The remaining thods at his disposal were not effective enough to cause any serious damage to the monster.

He sensed the remaining ti of his Invincibility: only seven seconds were left.

After instantly exchanging for a bottle of Unicorn Blood in the shop, Zhang Xiaoman, heedless of the consequences, hurled it at an exposed wound on the creature’s body and imdiately initiated Unlimited Teleportation, aiming for the Dawn, high in the sky.

Unlimited Teleportation required a five-second prep ti, which he used to observe the blood’s killing power on the monster.

To his disappointnt, the silver-white liquid rely caused a faint wisp of smoke upon contact with the monster.

Even the droplets that had splashed beyond the wound induced no reaction whatsoever.

The five seconds quickly elapsed, and Zhang Xiaoman’s figure suddenly vanished, only to reappear without warning beside Lin Sisi.

“Brother Xiao Man!”

The girl felt a familiar presence suddenly appear beside her and instinctively called out.

“It’s .”

Zhang Xiaoman didn’t have the ti to say much at that mont, simply responding briefly before using his Summoning Skill to pull Jin Bao, who was still underground, back to him.

After all this, he didn’t stop; he switched his field of view and imdiately moved it onto one of the Holy Knights.

This Holy Knight had already reached the edge of the cavernous space at his master’s signal, from where he could see clearly what was happening near the cocoon.

At this mont, all six Horror Demons had directed their attention towards the gigantic monster, surprisingly ignoring the Star Guards nearby for the ti being.

It was at this mont that the massive monster began to tremble slightly.

Behind it, the folded giant wings suddenly unfurled with a force as if they ant to shroud the entire space.

Seeing this, Zhang Xiaoman couldn’t help but have his expression change dramatically.

Because to his eyes, those wings did not resemble the flesh wings of a Horror Demon at all, but were instead a pair covered in pure white feathers.

“Is this…

an angel…?”
