Chapter 710: Chapter 523 The Most Value-for-Money Hand Grenade Ever (Two in One)

The silver Mystic Weapon Spear in Jannan’s hand, like a streak of silver lightning, flew towards Makula’s chest.

At that mont, Matiu and the others beside him couldn’t help but feel a jolt in their hearts.

They had all seen those formidable defensive asures, and even firearms were ineffective, so it went without saying that such a throw was even less likely to succeed.

But before they could even conceive of disappointnt, the next instant, the silver spear had reached Makula.

“Bang!”

A loud noise erupted, and Makula staggered, lurching several steps backward.

Around him, the air twisted and turned as smoke began to rise from his chest where the silver spear had fallen to the ground, unable to harm him.

“What happened!?”

Makula was shocked.

He had seen clearly that the spear had sohow forcibly broken through his Qin Energy Field and only ca to a halt a few centiters from him.

The others also wore expressions of surprise.

It seed to them that the green-clothed man had simply thrown a spear at the man in the black robe, and then sparks had erupted from the latter’s body.

It was as if it wasn’t a spear at all, but a missile.

At this point, Makula was no longer the composed and serene figure he had been initially; he hurriedly removed his long robe, revealing his true form.

He was a tall, handso man with pale skin.

The man’s appearance was indistinguishable from an ordinary human, resembling soone of Eurasian descent, with piercing blue eyes and pointed ears being the only notable differences.

Based on his appearance alone, he bore so resemblance to the elves from Western fantasy stories.

The man was dressed in a skintight white suit that looked like sothing out of a science fiction movie, the kind future humans might wear as a space uniform.

There was a round tal plate on the chest of the white suit, which was now emitting black smoke; clearly, the sparks had co from there.

“Pap pap pap~”

The man frantically slapped at the smoke and then hurriedly tapped his wrist a few tis.

As he moved, a shimr of light radiated from the plate, a circular barrier flickered montarily around him, then disappeared into thin air.

Jannan took advantage of this mont to attempt an attack, but there were too many Mutant Beasts around, preventing any success.

“Phew~”

Makula sighed with relief upon seeing his Qin Energy Field reactivated.

“Didn’t expect you to be quite capable; you’re certainly different from those useless ones. So it has been you, the rat that has been interfering with lately?”

His tone was full of arrogance, but he couldn’t hide a touch of fear.

Clearly, Jannan’s earlier attack had left a deep psychological shadow on him.

“Makula, I don’t know who you are exactly, but if you plan to disseminate that virus throughout the world with that machine, you might as well give up now,”

Jannan said coldly, his hands moving through gestures as he summoned his weapon with the last of his Dark Energy.

“Hehe, I’m surprised you know so much. Yes, as soon as my dicine disperses, all the creatures in this world will undergo my transformation and evolve into higher life forms,”

Makula spread his arms, taking on an air of superiority.

“To be ruled by such a great deity will be an honor for you.”

He said and then bent down slightly to pick up the spear.

“Hmm, it’s indeed a very sharp weapon; no wonder you could pierce my defenses with it. Who would have thought that such a weak and pitiful race could yield such an unexpected find… Now, it’s mine.”

But no sooner had he finished speaking than the object in his hand vanished.

At the sa ti, not far away, a silver spear in Jannan’s hand slowly extended as if summoned from the void with his gestures.

Makula’s pupils contracted, recalling the attack that had nearly cost him his life, which sent a wave of panic through his heart.

“Quick, stop him!”

Seeing Jannan once again preparing to throw, he imdiately yelled out.

At the sa ti, he tapped his wrist a few tis, and an invisible ripple spread out.

The Mutant Beasts on the field, as if stimulated, had their eyes turn blood-red as their attacks beca even more frenzied.

Jannan saw that he was blocked by a thick wall of rats and protected by two large snakes, making it tough to find a chance to strike, so he was forced to fend off the monsters.

Ti quickly passed in this stalemate.

Although Jannan was strong and his Mystic Weapon was a kind of Extraordinary Equipnt, the problem was that there were too many monsters. Rats killed in one wave were replaced by another, seemingly endless.

Under such assault, he sustained multiple injuries and moved slower and slower, soon becoming completely encircled by the Mutant Beasts.

“Ah!!”

At this point, Jannan could no longer care about his own safety; seeing the progress bar at 90%, he endured the rat attacks and desperately flung his spear in one desperate attempt.
