He waved his hand dismissively, as if to suggest that the past need not be dwelled upon.
Naphaya felt a stir in her heart upon hearing this, unable to help a surge of joy.
"Then, then... O great being, since you also know the Holy Master, could you perhaps..."
Its ntal fluctuations were chaotic, betraying an excitent and disjointed speech.
Zhang Xiaoman clearly understood what it ant and was happy to have found an out for himself.
After all, he could not actually kill this Holy Angel, could he? Even if he wanted to, he did not possess the ability.
However, he felt sowhat baffled by the ntion of this "Holy Master" from the other party, unable to understand why it thought he knew the Holy Master.
What he didn’t know was that in Naphaya’s belief system, among her entire race, there was only one Transcendent-level being, the Holy Master. If this person before her had a past with her race, then it could only be the Holy Master.
"Hehe, I get your point. If it weren’t for that past intersection of our paths, do you think you’d still be standing here unscathed?"
Zhang Xiaoman spoke indifferently.
Naphaya was startled by these words, its head, which had been raised slightly, drooped again, accompanied by fluctuations of ntal energy.
"I am grateful for your forgiveness, Naphaya will forever rember your kindness!"
Zhang Xiaoman waved his hand.
"Alright, considering this was an unintentional act on your part, I’ll let it go for now. I’m about to close the Dinsion Rift, so you better hurry back to where you ca from."
After saying this, he turned his gaze towards the distant purple splotch, signaling for the other to leave quickly.
However, Naphaya hesitated, lifting its head with a tremulous ntal wave.
"This, O great being... I am truly sorry... It’s not that I don’t want to leave, but just now, when passing through the Dinsion Rift, my body’s Level exceeded the limit of the rift, and I was injured while forcing my way through. I’m afraid I won’t be able to return through it for so ti..."
Zhang Xiaoman was shocked and suddenly rembered how, when this creature first appeared, it seed to have struggled much more than the Stone Statue Demons to squeeze through the rift.
"Damn, who would’ve thought that the Dinsion Rift would have such a limitation? The higher the Level of the Alien Species, the more difficult it is to pass through?"
He thought to himself, feeling quite certain that this must be the cause.
This left him unsure whether to feel relieved or troubled.
Relieved because he probably wouldn’t often encounter high-level Alien Species in the near future, at least during the early stages of the Great Fusion.
But troubled because it seed that this big problem could not be sent away.
Faced with this unexpected situation, Zhang Xiaoman fell silent once again.
His silence imdiately stirred anxiety in Naphaya’s heart.
At this mont, Zhang Xiaoman was frantically considering how to deal with this being.
He had thought about simply fooling it into leaving, but that carried certain risks.
He wasn’t certain if Naphaya would actually leave this planet, or even this star system, as he had suggested.
If it decided to hide and observe him, it might discover he was a paper tiger, which would be a serious problem.
And even if the creature did leave the planet, if it suddenly ca to its senses one day, realizing details it had previously overlooked and returned for revenge, that too would be quite troubleso.
Even setting aside those possibilities, the re presence of such a threat near his planet was enough to make one lose sleep.
But if he didn’t drive it away and instead kept it close under watch, that was equally unrealistic, and it would only lead to a quicker demise.
After all, without true Transcendent-level power, having it nearby would be revealing his hand every minute.
After much deliberation, he still couldn’t find a perfect solution.
"Sigh, why does the Dinsion Rift have to malfunction now, of all tis? It’s like an unnecessary complication has been thrust upon ... if only I truly possessed that kind of invincible power, I’d have smacked you dead for points by now."
He felt very depressed in his heart.
However, at that mont, a sudden flash of inspiration struck Zhang Xiaoman’s mind. Among the phrases he had been pondering, two words started to repeatedly appear before his eyes.
"Invincible, invincible..."
He muttered softly twice, his eyes bursting with golden light, and he finally had a bit of an idea.
"Invincible! Right, I can be invincible too!"
A trace of excitent appeared on his face.
Indeed, Zhang Xiaoman had found a perfect solution.
The invincibility he was talking about was not the kind associated with the Little Golden Man, but true invincibility.
Of course, such invincibility was unachievable in this universe.
But let’s not forget, he had another identity besides being the Master of the Stars—
Master of the Original Realm!
"As long as I figure out a way to lure this fellow to the Original Realm, it won’t be able to cause any trouble there, and even if it learns of my true strength, it doesn’t matter. As long as I’m in the Original Realm, I am invincible!"
Zhang Xiaoman organized his thoughts, and the smile on his face grew even thicker.
Seeing this scene from a distance, Naphaya felt a vague sense of unease.
"Well, since you can’t go back, you might as well stay," he said.
The first words he spoke gave the Holy Angel a shock, wondering if this ant his end was imminent.
Of course, Zhang Xiaoman didn’t really intend to do away with it; he already had a perfect plan in mind.
"The existence of the Dinsion Rift will greatly interfere with my plan, so you probably won’t be able to leave through it anymore..."
Zhang Xiaoman said as his Flying Sword sliced through the sky, already bringing him to the edge of the Dinsion Rift.
This Dinsion Rift was odd; ever since the Holy Angel had arrived, no other Alien Species had co through.
He guessed that the latter might have slaughtered all the monsters on the other side before coming, causing this situation.
However, either way, it was always good news for Zhang Xiaoman.
At least, he shouldn’t have any monsters co out to disrupt him when he absorbed the rift later on.
Thus, harboring a mix of apprehension, curiosity, and disbelief, Naphaya watched the entire process as that mysterious and powerful entity absorbed the Dinsion Rift.
This caused the last sliver of doubt in his heart to vanish.
Being able to close a Dinsion Rift was definitely not sothing soone below the Extraordinary Level could achieve.
Even the Holy Master of his own race might not have been capable of this feat.
With such strength, the other party had to be an Upper Transcendent as he had sensed.
Zhang Xiaoman had also guessed a bit of the creature’s thoughts; he absorbed the Dinsion Rift in front of it to intimidate it as well.
After all, he rembered the words it had said earlier.
Although he didn’t know who the Illusion God was, he at least knew that closing a Dinsion Rift wouldn’t be an easy task in that universe.
Therefore, he did not hesitate to activate the ability of the Eye of the Starry Sky. Accompanied by the twinkling light in his hand, the Dinsion Rift turned into streams of Energy Flow that surged toward his palm.
"Ding, successful absorption of a dium-sized Dinsion Rift, points increased by 330."
The points for this Dinsion Rift were indeed more than last ti, over three hundred pure inco, which was quite a bit for the current Zhang Xiaoman.
Add to that the points from absorbing the Thunder Giant, as well as the considerable points earned by Star Alliance mbers from slaying monsters, his total points had once again broken through one thousand.
