This display of brute strength imdiately opened the eyes of the two new survivors, who were amazed by the girl’s prowess.
Hank, as he described himself, is indeed a doctor.
As soon as he entered, he began busying himself with bandaging Su Ya’s wounds, using supplies from a small dical kit he carried.
Unfortunately, due to the malfunctioning electricity system, many instrunts were unusable, leaving the doctor with only the most basic tasks.
However, the Hemostatic Potion he used was quite miraculous.
Just a little poured on the wound, and the bleeding stopped imdiately, preventing the situation from worsening.
Fortunately, Su Ya is a Genetic Warrior; her constitution, though not as strong as Narui’s now, is considerably stronger than that of ordinary people.
Despite the severe injuries, she managed to pull through resiliently.
Both parties briefly introduced themselves to get acquainted.
Narui also received food and supplies from them as a gesture of gratitude.
But she currently has plenty of good food given by Lord Ji Xing, so she doesn’t lack these things.
She simply opened the food the others sent, mixed it with water, and divided it into three bowls as everyone’s supper.
Su Ya and Hank, out looking for supplies for so long, were now starving, so the three sat at the table to eat.
However, due to her injuries, Su Ya found eating quite strenuous, moving slowly.
"Thank you... Narui... I really didn’t think I’d survive today... it’s all thanks to you for saving ... By the way, I saw you kill that Savardo in a few strikes just now, are you a Genetic Warrior too...?"
Hearing this, Narui quickly waved her hands and said:
"No, no, I’m not a Genetic Warrior; I’m just an ordinary person..."
As soon as she finished speaking, she sensed an odd atmosphere.
Looking up, she saw both were staring at her with peculiar expressions.
Realizing they misunderstood, she said:
"Ah, aha... I’m just a resident here... Even though I seem strong, I’m actually not a Genetic Warrior..."
The girl quickly added.
Her explanation only confused them further.
Not a Genetic Warrior?
What does that an?
Could there be other thods of becoming stronger besides being a Genetic Warrior?
Su Ya strained her thoughts for a long while but couldn’t find any answers, so she looked at Narui questioningly and said:
"But... why is your strength so great, I’ve never seen anyone with your level of strength, almost comparable to a mutated Mongoose Python."
She felt she might have been too abrupt, quickly adding:
"Cough, I’m sorry, I know my question might be a bit sudden... If you don’t want to explain, that’s fine..."
Narui thought about not responding to her question but rembered what Lord Ji Xing had said earlier.
He indicated that when eting other survivors, she could reveal her identity to them.
If possible, try to find out their camp’s location, as these will be valuable human resources in the future.
Narui silently structured her words ntally, then explained to the two:
"The reason my strength is so great, you might not believe it... but I actually have superpowers!"
"Su-superpowers?"
Su Ya and Hank were stunned.
They’re not unfamiliar with the concept of superpowers; many film works feature such characters.
Fire control, Water Control, telepathy, control gravity, magnetic force, etc.
But this is the real world; where would superpowers exist here? Genetic Warriors already represent the upper limit of human capability.
If soone had said this to her in the past, Su Ya would have been entirely skeptical.
Anyone talking like that would be deed a delusional cinephile.
However, tis have changed.
First ca the Crimson Light disaster, causing countless people under its rays to transform into hideous monsters.
Then she witnessed the terrifying brute strength of the girl before her.
Continuous reality has unfolded before her, forcing Su Ya to accept the existence of superpower users in her civilization.
Narui, noticing they didn’t refute her but seed to contemplate seriously, felt happy internally.
Looks like her explanation made logical sense.
In truth, Narui herself doesn’t understand what that strength is.
It’s definitely not genetic mutation, which has a ti limit; calling it a superpower is fitting.
Except her superpower is temporary.
"Let tell you, the Crimson Light catastrophe isn’t just an ordinary natural disaster; those things aren’t Savardo, but Mutants..."
Imdiately, Narui revealed the alien invasion information from Lord Ji Xing to the pair.
Their expressions, as expected, shifted from confusion to shock, just like the little girl’s initial reaction.
"You’re-saying, it’s all done by aliens!?"
Hank was in disbelief, staring at the girl, his body quivering.
"No, to be precise, it’s not just aliens but special life forms from another universe rging with ours."
Narui corrected.
"How-how could this be... Damn it! Damn monsters!"
Hank angrily slamd the table.
His reaction was understandable.
Initially, he thought all their suffering was due to a natural catastrophe, rely bad luck for the Guleng people to face such a Constant Star mutation.
Even though he couldn’t comprehend why a healthy Constant Star would mutate, he chalked it up to natural disasters, making them resign to fate.
But suddenly learning it wasn’t a catastrophe, but a man-made disaster, changed his perspective drastically.
Like soone going for a drive, getting buried in a landslide; before dying, they might regret the trip or curse the heavens.
But if soone intentionally caused the landslide to kill them, anyone would have boundless anger.
Su Ya and Hank now felt similarly.
"Why! Why are they doing this! Those damned bastards! How many of our people have they killed! Damn it!"
Hank cursed wildly, tears streaming as he hugged his head and sobbed.
Seeing him like this, Narui felt uncomfortable; she too reacted similarly on first learning these truths.
Su Ya maintained composure, appearing calr.
As a mber of the Federation cha Corps, she had strong psychological fortitude.
Facing such scenarios, she could remain calm and handle them.
"Frightening power... incomprehensible life forms... actually able to parasitize directly into our Constant Star, what kind of life form is this..."
"Those black stones, and Savardo, all just byproducts of that other existence, truly terrifying..."
She instinctively began analyzing, typical of a soldier’s habit.
Sadly, the Aliens’ abilities were too strange, leaving her unable to grasp how they accomplished these feats.
Moreover, even if she understood, it would be to no avail.
The entire Prism Star System had crippled itself, leaving humanity with no ans to oppose the Aliens.
Suddenly, Su Ya seed enlightened, her eyes glowing with energy, as she looked at Narui and inquired:
"By the way, Narui, how exactly do you know all this...?"
