The people present are all considered elites in the astronomical domain. Placed in any other place, they would attract everyone competing to recruit them as top talent.
However, such a group of people now all look shocked as if they’ve never seen the world.
Despite having extraordinary expectations for this Golden Light beforehand.
But they never expected things to turn out like the current situation.
What is this?
A redefinition of worldview?
How did a good myth turn out to be real?
No ntal preparation at all.
"This... do you think, could it be the work of aliens...?"
A young researcher hesitated to speak.
"How so?"
Everyone turned their eyes to him, making him quite nervous.
"It’s like this... the legend of Longinus’ Spear has been around since ancient tis, but people back then were ignorant and backward, they simply couldn’t discern what those things really were..."
"Maybe back then, aliens really appeared on Water Blue Star, helping them win a war, or even enslaving them..."
"For so reason, the aliens took them to the Moon’s far side, or more simply, just verbally revealed a bit about the situation over there to them..."
"These pieces of information were recorded by our ancestors and then spread with embellishnts, finally becoming the version we hear today. I think such a situation might not be impossible..."
The crowd fell into a brief silence upon hearing this.
Then soone started nodding, showing agreent with this statent.
"Such a possibility indeed exists. There are simply too many unanswered questions humanity has had since ancient tis, pyramids, Stonehenge, the mystery of the White Noblewoman Mural... many things that even modern people cannot achieve, let alone the technologically backward ancients..."
"I think maybe aliens really appeared back then to help them, thus accomplishing this series of unprecedented wonders..."
An old professor spoke up, expressing a supportive attitude.
"Compared to deities leaving us Long Spears to fight Demons, I also find this explanation more plausible..."
"That’s right, aliens might really exist. After all, the universe is so vast, and Water Blue Star has also had similar hints. If this is the explanation, it’s more reasonable..."
Others voiced their opinions one after another, but most people remained silent, furrowing their brows in deep thought.
"Alright, we are scientific researchers, we must rely on evidence in what we do, random speculation is useless."
The white-haired supervisor spoke.
"Gail, Toby, you two are responsible for piloting Voyager 7 to the target location, strive to obtain the latest intelligence..."
"Locke, draft a report applying for the recovery of our Moon orbiting mission. If we can get a satellite over there, things would be much simpler..."
"However, Supervisor... I think we might not be able to get there in the short term..."
Gail, sitting at the front, suddenly interrupted him.
"What’s the matter?"
"Look here..."
Gail pointed to the screen, adjusting the Moon rover’s cara to a downward angle.
"You see, the mountain structure here is very peculiar... this side doesn’t have any slope at all but is instead a cliff! If we want to go there, we must detour around this mountain range. Considering the detour ti, it might take at least ten days to half a month to reach the destination..."
The crowd looked over upon hearing this.
Indeed, as Gail said, in front of the Moon rover, there were no slopes.
The entire crater presented an eerie stance, the entire area in front was smooth, extrely steep cliffs.
In such terrain, unless this little vehicle could transform into a Space Shuttle, it couldn’t possibly get through.
"This, how could this be..."
The supervisor’s face turned ugly.
Just a mont ago, everyone’s attention was on the Long Spear in the distance, failing to notice the anomaly right in front of them.
"Crater faults rarely occur on a large scale, and this isn’t Water Blue Star, so the theory of tectonic movents doesn’t apply, the only explanation could be impacts from teorites... but even with a teorite impact, it probably wouldn’t turn out like this..."
The old supervisor’s face was conflicted.
He wanted to analyze further, but had so reservations.
Thinking of the possibility that erged in his mind, he imdiately hesitated, not knowing whether he should voice it.
Eventually, it was Lune, an outsider, who spoke out on his behalf.
"These cliffs, they’re likely not naturally ford, but rather manufactured..."
The crowd all turned their eyes to him.
Lune had nothing to hide. He imdiately pointed to the display screen in front of him and said:
"Look at these cliffs and the plain in front of them, isn’t their current condition a bit too smooth? Generally speaking, only a supermassive explosion could cause such a landscape..."
"Although I am not an astronomy researcher, I know the far side of the Moon has long faced teorite impacts, the surface should be very uneven, how could it be like this..."
He straightened his body, eyes flickering with the light of yearning:
"The only explanation is that this region was subjected to so intense explosive influence, maybe directly related to that Golden Light!"
Lune’s heart raced rapidly.
