Lin Yi slowly raised his hand and muttered, "System." The familiar translucent panel appeared before his eyes, and he imdiately focused on the most important section.

His thoughts moved to the broader world, where equipnt rankings in this era of global class transfer was clear.

And the gap between each rank was enormous. Common weapons barely reached 10 to 20 attack power, while Uncommon weapons ranged around 25 to 40. Rare weapons climbed to roughly 50, and Epic gear finally crossed into the 90 to 120 range.
But once a weapon reached legendary rank, the numbers skyrocketed. Legendary weapons normally possessed 180 to 220 attack power, which ant Lin Yi’s Abyssfang Blade sat almost perfectly in the middle of that tier. It was a balanced but extrely deadly weapon.
Lin Yi stretched slightly before closing the system panel. Three days—that was all the ti left before the elimination round began. The academy tournant would soon enter its most intense stage, and Lin Yi believed he was ready.
A faint smile appeared on his face. Just then, the dormitory door suddenly burst open. "BROTHER LIN!" Wang Hao rushed inside like a storm.
Lin Yi looked at him calmly and remarked, "...You’re loud."
Wang Hao didn’t care and held up his phone excitedly. "Look!"

Wang Hao shoved the screen toward him.

Wang Hao scrolled through the rankings. "Look at this!"
Lin Yi glanced at the list. The first place prediction was Chen Feng, followed by Tang Yue in second and Su Qinghan in third. Below them were several other talented students. But Lin Yi’s na appeared much further down, ranked sowhere near thirtieth place.
Wang Hao looked offended. "Thirty?! That’s ridiculous!"
Lin Yi simply shrugged. "It’s not wrong."
Wang Hao stared at him. "Brother Lin, you defeated Zhang Wei easily! And that guy is level six!"
Lin Yi smiled faintly. "Let them think whatever they want."
Wang Hao scratched his head. "...You’re strangely calm about this."
Lin Yi stood up and picked up the Abyssfang Blade, which slid smoothly into its sheath. "Predictions don’t matter."
Wang Hao blinked. "...What does matter?"
Lin Yi opened the dormitory door, then looked back slightly. "Winning."
Wang Hao froze for a mont, then he suddenly laughed loudly. "That’s the spirit!"
The two of them walked out of the dormitory building together. The academy grounds were already busy with students training, so sparring, and others discussing strategies for the elimination round. But Lin Yi barely paid attention to any of it because he already knew sothing they didn’t. While everyone else was preparing carefully, he had already stepped into a completely different league. And once the tournant resud, the entire academy would finally realize it.
