"Leviathan, why are you so small?"

Everyone on Freedom Square had been sucked into the painted scrolls drawn by Zhezhi. The only ones left were Noah and the mini version of Leviathan, which was less than a ter long, right in front of him.

Dozens of vines bound the mini Leviathan so tightly that It couldn't move at all. One of the vines even hoisted It up into the air.

"Why so small?"

Clearly sensing the disdain in Noah's eyes, Leviathan beca furious beyond asure.

Why had Its body beco so tiny? Wasn't it because the god-slaying bastard in front of It had sealed both Its black tide and all of Its believers inside those painted scrolls?

The fact that It still had a full ter of length right now was already the result of extre effort on Its part.

With strength only at the Common class level, Leviathan roared:

"You damned insect! If you have the guts, release my believers and my black tide! Let's fight fair and square! Bullying the weak like this—what kind of hero are you?!"

The mont those words ca out, It saw Noah's eyes suddenly widen, as though he had just heard sothing utterly unbelievable.

"Leviathan, I always thought you were one of the smarter ones among the Threnodians…"

"But—"

"How could such an idiotic line co out of your mouth?"

Noah flicked his wrist. For once, a devilish, sinister grin appeared on his face. A long, slender, extrely flexible vine whip ford in his hand.

"If you still can't see the current situation clearly, I don't mind helping you open your eyes!"

Snap!

"Ahhh!"

The sound of the whip tearing through the air and Leviathan's miserable scream rang out at the sa ti.

"A Threnodian can actually feel pain?!"

Snap!

"This is amazing!"

Snap!

"This whip is for arrogance and impatience!"

Snap!

Not far away, on the rooftop of the Cathedral of rcury, two red figures stared at each other.

"This guy… the first ti he fought Leviathan, it was a hard-won, miserable victory. Now, on the second try, he's already hanging It up and beating It. What about the third ti? The fourth ti?"

Phrolova's brows were tightly locked, her delicate eyebrows raised in disbelief:

"Playwright, it seems your script has miscalculated again."

"…It's fine."

Cristoforo was silent for a long while before finally speaking slowly, trying to salvage so dignity with words:

"As long as he cannot find the anchor point of this script, he will be trapped in this script forever. Sooner or later, we will find a way to deal with him."

The Decree-defiling Mirror of Nightmare, using countless Ragunna terminals as diums, produced a powerful ntal pollution field with a range of a full five ters.

That guy had clearly been in the densely crowded square just monts ago—why had he once again escaped the pollution?

Before Cristoforo could figure it out, Phrolova's voice ca again:

"Oh? So you plan to restart the script over and over?"

"Yes."

Hearing this, Phrolova looked at Cristoforo in surprise. For once, a rare trace of admiration appeared in her eyes:

"Then wouldn't that an you have to take his brutal beating again and again right at the start of each script?"

"…"

"Didn't you keep saying you were going to tornt Noah? What's wrong? Sending yourself up to get beaten over and over—is this your idea of tornt?"

Cristoforo's expression finally cracked. His voice carried a hint of pleading:

"…Phrolova, I think we can change to a more pleasant topic."

"You get beaten by him while begging to save you."

"I finally manage to save you, only for him to use the power of ti to drag you right back."

"Then you have to keep getting beaten, keep begging to save you, until that person gets tired of beating you."

"Stop."

For once, Phrolova's unusually talkative flow was interrupted.

"…You woman, you really have zero sense of humor."

Cristoforo's face suddenly darkened. He cursed bitterly:

"Leviathan, you useless thing!"

"This entire city of Echoes is now filled with your Tacet Discords everywhere—use them already!"

It seed that Leviathan, who was currently suffering severe torture, heard Cristoforo's cursing. A violent roar erupted from It.

The roar echoed throughout Ragunna. The forr puppet Echoes, now transford into ferocious Tacet Discords, all rushed frantically toward Freedom Square.

Tens of thousands of Tacet Discords surged forward in a dense tide.

In response, countless vines erupted from the ground. Their roots dug deep into the earth. The vines that broke the surface bent at a 90-degree angle and began spinning horizontally at high speed.

The rapidly spinning vines acted like the blades of a giant at grinder, rcilessly shredding the tens of thousands of charging Tacet Discords into pieces.

In the blink of an eye, tens of thousands of fresh, hot Tacet Discords turned into a huge pile of cold, golden Echoes.

What kind of godly farming spot was this?

Noah was so excited he could barely contain himself. His hair had unknowingly turned a deep crimson. The vine whip in his hand struck even harder.

Callya's Resonance easily entered Overclocking mode, but he didn't care at all.

Snap! Snap! Snap!

It was as if fireworks were exploding across Freedom Square. Continuous blasts rang out without end.

"Faster! Give more Tacet Discords! Otherwise I'll whip you!"

Leviathan was shattered again and again, only to reform again and again thanks to Its undying nature.

It even began to miss Its ancient nesis.

Although that ancient enemy had also beaten It ti and ti again, at least it gave It a quick end, instead of torturing It while cackling with excitent like this beast in front of It.

"Speak or not?!"

Noah swung the vine whip again:

"Speak or not?!"

Snap!

The whip broke.

Leviathan finally thought It could catch a breath—only to see a hundred new vine whips instantly sprout around the demon's feet.

Leviathan panicked!

"Speak about what?! You should be the one asking! Ask !"

"Did I not ask?" Noah looked genuinely confused. His hand, following muscle mory, swung out another whip:

"If I didn't ask, you don't know how to just say it yourself?!"

"Insect! Damned insect! I am a noble Threnodian, the exalted deity of Rinascita! I will never tell you anything!"

Enduring the excruciating pain, Leviathan refused to scream anymore:

"If my true consciousness, currently imprisoned in the high heavens, were here, you would be ntally polluted the mont you looked at ! How could you possibly dare to act so arrogantly?!"

Its voice was vicious:

"You damned insect! You'd better give a quick death! Otherwise, in the next script, I will spare no cost—I will have my proxy unleash the black tide right at the very beginning of the script!"

"Did I hear that wrong?!"

Noah's face was filled with shock:

"You're actually trying to negotiate terms with ? And you dare threaten ?! Do you think I'm one of those obedient children from your Order?"

He swung the whip again:

"Is the Order's support too loud, or do you simply not understand what I'm saying?"

"Enough!"

Leviathan roared in unbearable humiliation:

"There should no longer be any existence in all of Solaris stronger than that person! Who the hell are you?!"

"I'm your dad!"

Snap!

The night was still long, and so was Leviathan's punishnt.

It even began to fantasize—what if it were Rover standing here instead?

The physical pain was excruciating, but what It could not accept most was the utter humiliation.

What could be more humiliating than being tortured by such an unheard-of insect?

There was—being tortured by an even weaker insect.

"It's you again. How are you still alive?"

Noah's voice pulled Leviathan's dazed consciousness back to reality.

It looked forward and saw an ordinary person bent over in extre humility, carefully weaving past the rapidly spinning vines as he hurried toward the square.

"Um… big shot, do you rember ? I'm the guy who didn't know his place and tried to fight you for the room—the eldest son of the Motley family of Septimont. You can just call Little Te."

"Very hard to forget."

Noah clearly rembered that in the previous script, this guy also hadn't rged into Leviathan.

It was just a pity that in the end, the person still couldn't survive and died in the aftermath of that great battle.

"What are you here for?"

Unlike his arrogance from two hours ago, Little Te was now rubbing his hands together, posture extrely low:

"Big shot, all the echoes in the entire Ragunna have turned into Tacet Discords. I'm just an ordinary person—I'm scared. I'm hiding here to take refuge. Please don't mind ."

"As the eldest son of the Motley family, you don't bring bodyguards when you go out?"

"I brought the strongest Kerasaur in all of Septimont. You crushed it with one hand."

Hearing this, Noah couldn't help but hold his forehead.

"Fine, my bad. As compensation, these hundred vine whips are yours."

Noah pointed at Leviathan, who was still hanging in the air:

"See this Threnodian? Right now It's just a completely defenseless small fry. Co—whip It!"

The mont those words ca out, Leviathan struggled frantically and roared continuously:

"Damn insect! You humiliate too much! I am a noble Threnodian, the god of Rinascita! You insignificant weakling—how dare you hit ? How are you even qualified?!"

Snap!

"What are you babbling about? Big shot tells to do sothing, I do it. God of Rinascita? Go talk to my whip about that."

Little Te gripped the vine whip tightly, feeling unprecedented strength surging through his body.

This was beating a Threnodian! After this job, when he goes back to Septimontand spreads the word, even the Ephor would probably feel inferior to his bravery. Maybe even the Priestess would be chard by him.

Beat! Beat it hard! Beat the Threnodian until it wails!

This felt too good—he felt like he could do this all day!

"We people of Septimont don't believe in gods!"
