Eddie knew that her foot was badly hurt and frowned as she beca aware of the seriousness of the situation, "What are we going to do?"
Gould put the phone in his pocket and squatted bravely in front of her, "Co on, Eddie, I’ll carry you to the hospital."
Looking at Gould’s fragile fra, Eddie couldn’t help but say, "Gould, I’m afraid I’m going to hurt you. I don’t think you are strong enough?"
"It will be fine. Let pick you up, and I am strong enough."
Eddie thought for a mont, and they really wasn’t anything else to do, so she stood up in pain and slowly got on Gould’s back.
"There is a row of lounge chairs in front of . I’m going to stop and take a break. I should be able to walk on my own."
Eddie found that Gould’s legs were starting to beco weak as he carried her, and she didn’t want to hurt him, so she asked him to put her down. Gould put Eddie in the chair beside the elevator and sat down beside her. Then he looked down at her feet, and her ankle was red and swollen.
"It seems to be swelling. Let rub it for you. It may help?"
Eddie was a little embarrassed, but Gould was gay. So, she nodded her head and agreed. "Are you sure you don’t mind? I don’t want to cause you any trouble."
Gould took Eddie’s shoes off and softly rubbed her ankle. He looked up at her and smiled. "Eddie, no problem. I am happy to do it. I don’t know if you rember, but I was with you when I first started working for Danny, and I made mistakes every day. You were always so kind to and helped ."
Eddie rembered Gould back then and smiled, "Yes, I rember how intimidated you were by all the famous actors and actresses. Once you brought the director’s chair, and you were scolded like a dog."
"Then my mother got sick, and I couldn’t afford a ticket. You lent three thousand dollars right away. In fact, you didn’t have any money yourself, but you were kind enough to loan it to ."
"Yes, I rember that well. Eddie, you’re a good person and well worth being nice to," Gould said with a shy smile. Eddie was touched by what he said, and it was rare that soone in this indifferent circle rembered a bit of her kindness.
Suddenly there was a loud sound, and the door opened. There was a sound of a familiar voice.
"Stuart, isn’t this your wife?"
Eddie quickly raised her head to look at Stuart and Anna as they walked out of the elevator. She thought they were just passing through, but they had co upstairs.
"What is Stuart doing here? Was it a business? Why was Anna with him if he was working?"
Gould was so focused on rubbing Eddie’s foot that he didn’t notice that soone was standing behind him. Eddie’s eyes t Stuart’s, and his dark pupils filled with emotions. She did not understand why he was there, but Stuart could always make her heart flutter.
Stuart then looked down at Eddie’s foot and saw Gould rubbing it. It hardly seed reasonable that he should be rubbing her foot so intimately and in a public place. Anna could not miss out on such an excellent opportunity to fan the flas, "Can heterosexual relationships be so close in Arica? I have never seen it before in Europe."
Stuart’s face beca pale, and his cold eyes glared at them. Eddie was so taken aback by the sudden appearance of the two n, and then she realized the behavior was inappropriate and quickly withdrew her foot. Gould, who didn’t know what was going on, saw Eddie’s actions and thought her ankle felt better and said, "Are you feeling better? Let’s get out of here and get you so dicine."
"Okay," Eddie murmured, trying to avoid Stuart’s cold gaze. She didn’t know what to do with Stuart, and she just wanted to get away from him. With Anna standing next to Stuart, Eddie felt she could not speak to Stuart calmly right now.
She had to wait until the evening and then they could talk privately. As soon as Eddie stood up and went to put her shoes back on, her ankle started to ache again. She almost fell over from the pain.
Luckily Gould was being careful and looking out for her, and as soon as Eddie started to fall, he caught her. Then with concern in his voice, he said, "You still can’t walk, can you? Stop trying to be brave and let carry you."
Gould, who had always been shy and effeminate, was a bit manly at the mont. He suddenly crouched down to pick her up. She looked up and saw Stuart’s face, and his thin lips were pressed tightly together.
His eyes that had once been so warm were now as cold as ice. Eddie had never seen him look at her like this before. Seeing him look at her in this way only made Eddie angry.
She knew Anna liked him, and he was touching her. So what qualifications did you have to place judgnt on her? At least her relationship with Gould was clean.
With a feeling of resentnt, Eddie gritted her teeth and let Gould’s help her right before Stuart’s eyes. Stuart was angry and stepped in front of Gould. Gould couldn’t help but doubtfully look up and saw that a man was standing in front of him.
When he looked up, he saw a man with handso features and an outstanding temperant. Gould stood there with a blank expression spreading across his face. He was feeling a little pressured by the look on Stuart’s face. Gould could tell that he was not just an ordinary man.
Stuart did not move, and his eyes were fixed on Gould. Gould seed to understand what was going on, and he said, "Eddie, do you know this man?"
Eddie, who was sowhat dazed by Stuart’s unrelenting gaze. She turned her head and lowered her voice to almost a whisper, "Well, he is an acquaintance of mine."
Danny and Rhoda knew about their marriage, but Eddie didn’t want too many people to know about her relationship with Stuart.
"How dare you say that. I’m just an acquaintance of yours, am I?"
Hearing Eddie’s words, Stuart’s voice was as cold as an ice blade. He squinted down at her, and you could feel his anger surfacing in a fury at that mont. The sound of Stuart’s voice made Eddie freeze, and she looked at him. Then the atmosphere imdiately changed.
