As Andy raised her hand to administer a slap, Edie stepped back to avoid the blow. Anger was storming out from right inside Andy’s stomach into her mouth. Her gaze is lingering on Cecil for a second or two. "That’s why you brought your illegitimate son with you. He’s here to protect you," she said as a devious look appeared in her eyes. Then she turns around with a big stupid smile on her face. She narrows her eyes at a thermos on the far end of the counter. She picks it up and waves it in the air.
Cecil quickly covers his face with his hands and screams, "No...Don’t..." He’s shaking so bad he can’t stop his voice from trembling. When his hands ca away from his face, there were streaks of tears on his cheeks. Then he looked up, and Edie was standing in front of him. "Edie, no!" he screams and tries to push her out of the way, but it’s too late.
Andy tried to throw the water in Edie’s face but missed, and it landed on her arm. She watched as Edie cringed in pain. "I knew it! He is your son, otherwise, why would you not protect your face?" She hesitated, and a smirk spread across her face. "Such a selfless woman! I wonder who his father is...." She puts her finger to her chin and says, "You don’t know. Do you?" She was laughing an evil laugh, the sound booming all around the room.
Sothing inside of Edie must have snapped. She lunged forward, rage seeping from every pore, pulsing from every muscle. She grabbed Andy by the hair and pulled her forward. "What are you going to do?" Her voice quivered as her heart filled with fear. She tried to pull her hand away from her hair. "You’re hurting ! Let go!" she pleaded.
Edie’s face turned bright red, and she yelled, "You can do anything to , but he’s a child. Do you have no morals? It’s boiling water, and you were going to throw it in his face." She tightened her grip on her hair. "If you ever touch him or even look at him. You will regret it." Her voice did not raise a decibel, but the threat in her tone was unmistakable.
The longer Andy looked at Edie, the more aggravated she beca. The longer she listened to her, the angrier she beca. "Why should I be nice to your illegitimate son? The only mistake I made was not throwing the water in your face. Then what man would want you in his bed?" she said in a deep, venomous demon voice.
Edie was surprised at Andy’s reaction, but she was no longer afraid of speaking her mind. She had to fight for herself and the people she loved. By the hair, Edie pulled her even closer and slapped her hard across her face. "You say I’m a bitch! What does that make you?
Andy’s eyes were dark, and her lips and cheek were red and swollen. She struggled to get away, but Edie was much stronger. She stared at her. She felt shocked and then furiously angry. She shakes her head and said, "How dare you touch ! Let go of now!" With her free hand, she dug her sharp nails into Edie’s arm.
Edie didn’t flinch or blink. She never said a word. Suddenly Andy felt a sharp blow as Edie slapped her hard across the cheek again. "Shut up! " Edie said, glaring at her.
Catching her balance, Andy shoots an evil glare Edie’s way as blood coats her lips. She spat blood out and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. She takes a deep breath, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to run down her face. "You little whore! You should be ashad of yourself!" she scread at the top of her lungs.
"Say it again! I dare you!" Edie said and slapped her once more.
One of the won couldn’t take it anymore and tried to persuade them to stop fighting. "Edie, stop! She won’t do it again," she begged. "We understand how upset you are. No one should treat a child this way. Why punish him? He didn’t do anything wrong," she said, trying to convince Edie to leave Andy alone. "When I saw her with the water, I tried to stop her, but I was too late. I’m sorry. What happens between adults should stay between adults and never should children be involved."
Edie lifted her head with a faint smile. She squeezed Andy’s cheeks and said, "So do you regret what you did?"
Andy shook her head. "No!" she said and spat in Edie’s face. "I hate you and your son. You will pay for this. If not today, sooner or later. So you better watch your back," she threatened her.
Edie laughed at her. Then she looked from one person to the next. "What shall I do? She feels no sympathy for what she’s done!" she said sarcastically. Then she reached over and grabbed a cup of boiling water.
The won gasped, shaking their heads. "No! Don’t!" they said as they put their hands over their mouths.
Andy had a frightened look on her face. She began to tremble in fear. "What are you going to do with that?" she asked, staring at the cup. "This is a school. You could get kicked out."
Edie tilted her head to the side and said, "Is that so! Who was the one who started the gossip in the first place?" Then Edie points to the video cara in the corner. "Didn’t you know, you’ve just starred in a movie. You poured water on two tis. How disrespectful is that? Is it not fair for to do the sa to you?"
Andy looks up at the cara and notices the red light flashing. Was everything recorded? If so, things wouldn’t turn out so well for her. Realizing she has to do sothing and do it fast. She begins to plead on her behalf. "I’m sorry. I take it all back. It was all my fault." Tears were falling down her cheeks. "Please don’t throw the water in my face. I’m an actress, and you know how important it is to ."
"How important is it to you? What about Cecil and his face? Is it not important?" Edie asked question after question. She thought about the look in his eyes when Andy ca towards him. She wouldn’t be able to live with herself if anything bad were to happen to him. However, Andy, the initiator, will go to hell.
And the initiator should go to hell.
