"Then, here," Stuart pretends to want to open the door. Edie stopped her imdiately, "No, stop. Okay, I would sleep on the sofa. I agree,"
Stuart pressed lips, hiding the smile in his eyes,
He held her to their bedroom and took another quilt and pillow for her. After making a bed for her, he walked out of the room.
After about half an hour, he returned back, with two dishes and a bowl of rice.
It slt really good. And Edie heard her stomach noise.
Edie stared at Stuart, "are you sure these were leftover?"
They really didn’t look like leftovers. She thought in silence.
"I never cooked," Stuart said lightly, without throwing an eye on Edie. Then he wiped oil stains on his hands. He still looked really elegant.
Edie still suspected, "But, we didn’t have leftover today. Why? How? Besides, the leftovers are bad for your health."
She didn’t care about this if she didn’t perceive a baby now.
She couldn’t let her baby eat leftovers.
"Then throw them away," Stuart said and walked into the bedroom and went straight to the bathroom to take a bath.
"Throw them away? Don’t be kidding. I almost starve to death. I wouldn’t starve if I didn’t wait for you. Asshole." She said out of frustration when Stuart left.
"What do you an by ’never cook.’ You’ve cooked for all the ti and got angry when I asked to stop. Now you lost part of mory. You can pretend now. When you restore the mory, I would definitely work out to serve you too."
She kept talking to herself and stuffed food into the mouth.
"Wow, how delicious. I didn’t rember the dinner was so yummy. Did he cook? Is it really just my illusion? Oh my god, so delicious."
Stuart heard what Edie said. He smiled in the bathroom, secretly.,
Of course, he cooked the food for her, exactly the sa dish as what they ate at dinner. So he could lie to her that they were just leftover.
He thought he needed to return back early from now on. If she kept waiting for him, she would starve every night.
After Stuart took a shower and walked out, Edie already fell asleep on the sofa. He frowned and approached her.
Edie was so excited at the mont. She was roaring at the bottom of the heart and pretended that she fell asleep.
Please hold to your bed. Let stay with you on the bed.
Stuart always held her to bed if she fell asleep on the sofa before. She believed he would do the sa tonight,
But all she heard was, "Just like a pig. Fall asleep after eating."
"..."
Without a word, Edie finally forgave him, because he lost part of mory.
Edie pretended to hear nothing. She turned around and kept closing her eyes.
She was really bad at acting. She couldn’t deceive Stuart,
After washing all dishes, Stuart returned back to the bedroom and slept on the bed. He thought for a while and slept on his side, leaving the other side empty. Then he turned off the light, falling into sleep.
After about ten minutes, Edie said in a low voice,
"Stuart, are you sleeping?"
Edie opened eyes in darkness.,
She knew Stuart always fell into sleep within ten minutes,
No one answered. She decided to climb into his bed.
Edie imdiately lifted the quilt and walked to the bed. She was in such a hurry that she didn’t notice the tea table.
Her legs hit on the table.
"Ah..." Edie covered her mouth imdiately.
It hurt so much. She almost burst into tears,
The man on the bed got nervous. He was still wide awake and heard all her movents but pretended to be asleep.
Such an idiot.
Was she blind? What a clumsy woman. He said in silence.
He was anxious, but he couldn’t move now. All he could do was waiting on the bed nervously.
Edie kept rubbing her legs to ease the pain. She took a deep breath and wiped her tears away.
Finally, she managed to walk to the bed and lifted the quilt, getting in.
She detected sothing imdiately.
Stuart slept on the other side.
When Stuart forgot her, he called her na in a coma,
Was this the reaction of subconsciousness?
So, Stuart still rembered her in his subconsciousness. Right?
This made Edie feel happy.
Edie lay on the bed and moved towards him inch by inch. The sll on him made her feel safe, really safe.
But he didn’t belong to her now, and even she was so close to him.
When thinking about this, Edie couldn’t help herself bursting into tears. Tears wet the pillow.
"You asked before whether I would leave you one day. I promise you I would never leave you as long as you still love . But...Stuart, you don’t love now. What should I do? I feel sad because you don’t rember anymore. I want to feel that you are just around , but all of these are an illusion because you are no longer the sa man who used to love . Hopefully, one day I’ll wake up with the old Stuart who cos back and showers , such unconditional love."
Her sound arrived in Stuart’s ears, wiring his heart.
He opened his eyes slowly and looked at Edie.
He really wanted to hold her in his arms.
She was sad now, so was he.
The one he loved was near to him, but he could hold her into his arms. He couldn’t even tell her.
He held fist tightly to control himself.,
A little impatience spoils great plans. He couldn’t ruin the plan.
But, at the mont Edie crouched into his arms, he gave up.
He finally holds her into arms tightly.
Edie was frightened. She thought Stuart woke up.
She raised her head.
He was still sleeping,
Was this the instinct?
Edie breathed a deep breath,
She held him back, tightly.
Baby, could you feel him. He’s your daddy....
Edie had the best dream these days. She felt really safe in his arms.
