She nodded and wanted to take Scarlet with her, but Ivan stopped her.
"The CEO and his wife have to deal with so personal issue, so it’s inconvenient for outsiders to intervene. Miss Yvette should wait in the hall."
Personal issue?
At that mont, Edie was also stunned.
"What personal issue?"
"The lawyer has arrived. The CEO will have a rest and talk to you about the division of property." Ivan’s face seed stumped, he then said after hesitating for a mont.
Edie’s pretty face turned pale.
When Scarlet heard this, she exploded, "Stuart, you bastard, how dare you divorce Edie. I will destroy him!"
She wanted to rush in but was stopped by the security guard at the door.
Ivan could do nothing, "Miss Yvette, I’m sorry."
Then he said to the front desk, "Take good care of Miss Yvette."

Scarlet just wanted to say sothing, but was stopped by Edie, "Don’t worry about , I won’t divorce, I won’t be bullied."
"But It’s so frustrating! " Scarlet’s whole body was sweating, and her face was red, like a bright red pepper.
Edie just smiled to comfort her and was about to leave with Ivan. Then Hicks said, "After you divorce, you are no longer in charge!"
Edie pretended nothing happened and left with Ivan directly.
Hicks was pissed off. But she could do nothing.
Edie hid all emotions behind. Hicks couldn’t find any anger on her face.
Edie looked really peaceful at the mont.
Hicks hated that.
She wanted to take the elevator with Edie. Unfortunately, she was tripped by sothing suddenly and fell on the ground.
If she didn’t hold herself with two hands tily, her knees would bleed.

Hick stared at the girl besides angrily. Actually, she was not familiar with Scarlet. All she knew was she was Edie’s friend. But she never paid attention to her. Neither did she investigate her.
Scarlet raised eyebrows, "Sobody fucks her."
"Who the hell are you?"
"Your grandma, baby."
Hicks was too angry to reply, "son of a bitch. I would revenge on Edie if you dared to do anything on ."
"Don’t you dare to touch Edie. Otherwise, I would ruin you. I promise." Scarlet was also irritated. Deik stopped her imdiately.
Hicks was shocked. But Deik was beside her, she cald herself down imdiately, "we’ll see."
Then, she walked away, satisfactorily.
Edie already arrived upstairs with Ivan.
The eting was paused. So there’s no one else in the conference room.
Edie entered the conference room. The room was large, with black tables and white chairs being arranged in order, making the room look serious and indifferent.
The man sat on the head of the table, with a hand holding his chest and the other rubbing the middle of the eyebrow. He closed his eyes. He looked really exhausted.
After walking for a whole morning, he was tired. Edie understood that.
Ivan wanted to wake up the man. But Edie stopped him.
She walked to him on the toe and started rubbing his shoulder gently.
Stuart trembled a little bit. Then he said,
"Hicks, you don’t have to do this."
Hearing this, Edie was stuck for a mont.
He thought she was Hicks.
She kept rubbing his shoulder in silence.
All she wanted to do was make him relaxed a little bit,
She was a failed wife before. She never looked after him before. It was he that kept caring about her feeling.
Suddenly, sobody walked to the eting room. Stuart imdiately caught her hands and pulled her in his arms.
"You are not Hicks. Why don’t you tell ?"
The man frowned and asked her coldly.
The worst thing for a woman in this world was your husband asked you about another woman.
"I just don’t want to talk," Edie said stubbornly.
He already upset her so much. Why did he keep hurting her?
Stuart kept frowning, but he didn’t say one more word. At the mont Hicks walked into the room, he released her hand.
But Hicks saw Edie was so close to Stuart. Her face changed imdiately. She walked to Edie and pushed her away directly.
Then, she turned towards Stuart and said in a gentle tone, "darling, hungry? I already reserved it in the restaurant. "
"Okay."
Edie knew she needed to catch the chance now, though she already knew his answer.
"I cooked several dishes. Do you want to taste?"
"Are you kidding , Stuart..."
Stuart interrupted her and said coldly,
"Are you deaf? Hicks already reserved. Please leave now. We need personal ti.
He still sounded cold, as usual.
Edie felt her heart was almost frozen by such coldness.
"I am deaf, just now, sorry," she said in peace and then turned around.
"Mrs. CEO."
Seeing the loss on her face, Ivan stopped her.
"Ivan, do you mind having lunch with ?"
"..." Ivan wanted to tell her sothing, but finally, he held all the words back, nodded, and closed the conference room’s door.
At the mont the door was closed, Stuart looked painful, extrely painful.
Hurting her was hurtful for him. He felt his heart was torn apart and exposed to the sun at noon.
Edie walked to the lobby and opened the lunch boxes. Two dishes, one soup and two bowls of rice.
"Do you like this? These are Stuart’s favorite."
"Yes."
"Sorry. I didn’t expect this. But if you don’t help , I can’t eat them all."
"I know. You already perceived a baby. Eat soup. Don’t make it difficult for you. Mrs. CEO, you’ve been suffering a lot." Ivan tried to persuade her.
Edie raised her eyes and looked at him in shock, "are you persuading ? To give up, Stuart?"

Sounded heavy.
Ivan’s face turned confusing. Didn’t he know how to answer this question?
Should he persuade her to leave the CEO?
"I am so hungry." Ivan didn’t answer the question. He forked a piece of at and lowered his head, starting eating.
