Edie stared at his hand. She didn’t know what the man in front of her was thinking about. She didn’t dare to give him her hand.
What if he threw her away again? It was from Julia yesterday. Luckily Edie knew this woman. What if it was a crazy man that wanted to rape her?

Edie felt relieved a little bit.
Seeing this, Stuart looked angrier.
She trusted Aaron more than him now.
Suddenly Stuart reminded Aaron’s words this noon.

Stuart frowned. He couldn’t stand Edie’s asking advice from other n. So he held her hands directly and dragged her into his arms.

Stuart told her in a cold and different voice before she realized, "don’t be afraid, I won’t hurt you. I just want you to attend a party."
Edie got completely confused.

She didn’t hear anything about the party.
"What party?" she got away from his arms and stared at him confusingly.
"L.N renewed the contract with Anderson Jewelry. So they held a party and invited to attend with my wife," he said indifferently.
Edie pressed her lips, "So, it was Anderson Jewelry that required you to do this?"

Stuart didn’t answer her question. He looked out of the window.
Edie felt sad. She took a deep breath.
He already forgot her. If Anderson Jewelry didn’t ask him to attend the party with her, he wouldn’t rember her.
But Edie forgot that Anderson never dared to require Stuart to do anything he didn’t want to do.
"Does....does Hicks know this?"

Stuart said in a cold voice. He didn’t even throw her an eye.
