Edie made several calls to confirm the efficacy and symptoms of the dicine before giving them to Stuart.
Then she went to the kitchen to cook so soup.
The servant wanted to help her. But Edie asked them to go away. Ginger kept irritating her eyes. Tears kept falling down from her eyes.
After half an hour, the ginger soup was ready. She added so sugar and tasted it. It was not bitter.
Then she walked to the bed.
Stuart closed his eyes.
He’s already fallen asleep.
She walked on the toe and placed the soup on the bedside table. Then she closed the window.
She drew the curtain. She wanted Stuart to sleep tight. But when she turned around, she saw the man staring at her.
"Wake up?" she was a little shocked.
"I am not sleeping."
He was waiting for her.
"Eat soup. It’s still warm." she took the bowl to him.
Stuart didn’t refuse her. He ate the soup up.
He felt much better in the stomach.
"Don’t go outside these days. We would handle this. If you really need to go out, take Ivan. Ask him to stay with you." he said.
Edie didn’t expect this.
She widened her eyes and asked him in a trembling voice, "Are you caring about ?"
"As what you said, if we divorce now, others would believe that you really cheated on . I do this for , not for you."
When seeing the love in her eyes, he almost told her the truth.
He wanted to hug her tightly into his arms.
His fingers were trembling. But he didn’t make any movent.
He couldn’t. At least he couldn’t do this now.
"Do you trust ?" Edie’s heart was trembling.
She thought he wouldn’t trust her anymore.
"Since you are my wife, I believe you are a good girl. I would investigate this deeply. Take good care of yourself these days."
He finally exposed his love for and concern for her.
Her heart got warm imdiately.
No matter how he hurt her, it didn’t matter anymore.
Her eyes were full of tears, "don’t worry. I would take good care of myself. So do you. Don’t make her worry about you. I an, don’t make Hicks worry about you."
Stuart nodded. He didn’t say a word anymore.
Edie wiped tears happily and left.
Suddenly, she rembered sothing and asked the man, "have you had lunch."
"No."
"Let make porridge for you. Good for your stomach." She said in a gentle voice.
Then she ran to the kitchen imdiately, before Stuart answered.
It was the happiest thing for her to cook for the man she loved the most.
She poured the porridge into the bowl and cooled it.
Then she took it to her husband.
Stuart didn’t refuse her. He ate them up again. Edie was so happy.
As long as this man trusted her, she didn’t care about any scandals or rumors.
She packed things up and left the room. She felt she was brave enough to turn on the TV to see what happened.
The Bella’s already brought a suit against Donald Lynch, with that hospital statent. Their marriage was bound to end, sooner or later.
As Donald’s reputation was ruined, the share of Hawk Real Estate also divided sharply. The cooperation was trapped in a financial crisis again.
Everyone was looking for Edie.
Reporters went to her company and asked Jay. Jay looked angry, "I have no idea."
