"Bastard," Paul hit his face with his fist. Donald was so weak at the mont. He stumbled. But he still struggled to stand up.
"Please give a chance."
"I allowed you to marry her before. I gave her to you. But what have you done? We never get her wronged at ho. What about you? What did you do, you, our daughter? Donald, do you even still rember what you promised in front of ? You promised to take care of her, to make her happy. It was not been a long ti since you’ve got married. Have you forgotten every word you’ve said?"
When they got married.....
When he decided to marry Joanna, he held Joanna’s hands and said word by word, "Dad, I love your daughter. I want to spend a whole life taking care of her and loving her. I want to make her happy for life. Please give this chance."
He almost forgot.
He made such a promise.
He still rembered before Paul said yes, Joanna answered imdiately, "you don’t need to ask him, darling. I’d love to."
He almost forgot she loved him deeply.
Joanna, I am sorry. Please hold on. Otherwise, I would suffer for life.

It was quite late when Edie went back to Aaron’s flat. She was exhausted. So she fell asleep imdiately.
In her dream, she saw Donald.
In her dream, he was still a young boy, holding a book and smiling towards her under the tree.
When she wanted to walk towards him, Donald lifted her hands to stop her steps.
"Edie, don’t co to . It’s ti for to leave."
Edie got confused, "Where are you going?"
Donald’s smile was soft, like the warm sunlight. "Edie, it’s so glad for to see you are happy now. It’s ti for to seek happiness."
Edie widened her eyes. She reminded Stuart. She bit her lips and shook the head, "Donald, I am not happy."
Even in her dream, she still rembered that Stuart didn’t love her anymore.
"Silly girl," Donald smiled. His body was fading away, "feel with your heart, rather than your eyes."
The next morning, when Edie opened her eyes, she still rembered parts of her dream. Her head was aching.
What did the dream an? Did it an that she still doesn’t want to give up on Stuart?
She smiled bitterly. Then she walked downstairs to change clothes.
The hourly employee already arrived to clean the house. Scarlet handled the cooking.
When Edie heard sothing from the kitchen, she thought it was Scarlet.
But when she walked into the kitchen, she saw a slender figure in gray ho clothes.
He was fighting against everything in the kitchen.
"Stuart...."
She stared at him, blankly. Her pupils shrunk imdiately.
But, she recognized him imdiately.
It was not Stuart.
Stuart never struggled in the kitchen. He was excellent at the kitchen. He never made the kitchen in a mass. Nothing was difficult for him.
Though Aaron and Stuart looked similar sotis. They had the sa back, sa clothes. But, she knew, they were different.
"What are you doing?"
Edie walked into the kitchen. It was smoking, like a battlefield.
"Cooking, of course. Don’t you.....see?" Aaron held a vegetable basket. The fish in the basket was already cut. When the oil got hot, he threw the fish in the pot imdiately.
The oil boiled. Aaron stood to the pot too closely. The oil drop got him.
"Hell. What is it?"
Seeing his operation, Edie got a cover and covered the pot imdiately. Then she turned off the heat. The kitchen finally got peace.
"I haven’t done it. What are you doing?"
"You need to drain the water on the fish before throwing them into the pot. Otherwise, the oil would boil imdiately and get out. You didn’t know how to cook. What are you doing in the kitchen? Where’s Scarlet? Where did she go?"
Edie dealt with the mass in the kitchen while talking to Aaron. She poured what was in the pot out and washed the pot. Then she cleaned the vegetable basket and checked the fridge to see whether there were anything materials for her to cook.
"She went to the periodical office. Today was the deadline."
Edie nodded. She said to Aaron, "you can go now. Apply so dicine to the wound. It would hurt."
Aaron pressed his lips. Looking at her back, Aaron’s eyes got complicated.
"About Donald..."
Edie’s hands paused for a mont. She turned around, staring at Aaron, "I’ve talked to Joanna. I don’t want to interfere with their life anymore. I won’t go back to Donald anymore. I would leave them alone. If I still contact him, Donald would never be able to embrace his new life."
"Great. I am glad you can understand."
"Thank you, Aaron, for all these troubles."
Now Stuart didn’t care about her. It was Aaron that kept helping her all these days. She really wanted to appreciate him.
Aaron’s heart beat faster. He lost control again. He walked towards Edie and held her in his arms again.
"From now on, whatever you need, tell . I won’t reject it. Never. It’s my honor to be able to help you."
Edie trembled slightly. Her pupils shrunk again. Apparently, she was shocked.
She wanted to push him away. But Aaron held her tightly. She was so weak compared with him that she failed to push him away.
"Aaron....let go."
At this mont, Edie heard a little boy’s voice, "Edie, Edie, pretty girl, the most handso cute lovely boy is coming."
"Idiot."
It was Arther’s cold voice,
Cecil jumped into the dining room. When seeing what happened in the kitchen, he froze.
"Cecil," Edie also froze, like him.
"Well...I didn’t see anything. I can co later." Cecil turned around stiffly, like a robot.
Then, he dragged Arther and left.
"Wasn’t Edie Aaron’s brother’s wife?"
"Yes."
"Then, why did she hug another man?" Arther got confused.
"I have no idea, sorry," Cecil shook his head hard.
Edie tried to push Aaron away, "lose your hands."
