"Yes. I am sorry. I would tell you as soon as I hear anything. Don’t worry. Stuart disappeared lots of tis before. He’s also sent abroad for three years. During that period, we didn’t hear anything about him. But he still ca back. It was a breeze for him."
"Okay, tell when you know anything. Wait for your news," Edie held the phone tightly. The air conditioner was turned on. It was quite warm inside the room. But the sweat on her forehead was cold.
After half an hour, Aaron woke up.
When he opened his eyes, he didn’t expect Edie to stand on the balcony. The sunlight fell on her pale face. She looked like a delicate doll.
He frowned and stood up. Then he walked to her, wanting to hold her up. But Edie refused him.
"What happened? Why do you look so pale?"
Edie held his hands tightly. She sounded fragile, "tell , what happened to Stuart. Please."
