Scarlet held Edie and left. More and more surrounded them.
They all tend to believe what they want to believe.
Even L.N. already told the public the truth, and they were not willing to believe it. They thought that was just a trick of capitalists. They always hid the truth.
Though the Yates got more and more popular among people, there were still several people hating them.
Among these people, a large proportion was Joanna’s fans. Joanna always played a pure, innocent girl in front of the dia. When she got married, many of her fans were heart-broken. But because she got married to the man she loved deeply, they finally accepted the fact.
They thought Joanna would live a happy life with her princess from then on, like the prince and princess in fairy tales.
When Joanna appeared in front of the dia all of a sudden and told them those stories, all her fans got crazy. They all knew how bad her husband was.
They were heart-broken.
Even Donald told them the truth over and over again, and they didn’t trust him. Joanna didn’t appear again. They never stopped worrying about her.
They thought she might be suffering at soplace now.
And the one that caused all these was Edie.
More and more people surrounded them. Most of them were stupid crazy fans of Joanna. They were all staring at Edie Lara as if they were planning to kill her here.
Seeing such chaos, Edie frowned, "What do you want?"
"I want you to apologize to Joanna online and admit the fact that you are nothing more than a whore that broke other families."
Though Donald Lynch already announced the statent that what he did had nothing to do with Edie Lara. But it was quite apparent that all he did was for Edie.
Joanna wouldn’t suffer if Edie didn’t break their family.
Therefore, these fans wanted to find a reason for Joanna.
Hearing these asshole words, Scarlet was driven crazy. When she was about to shout out, Edie stopped her.
"What if I refused?" Edie asked them calmly.
"Then you will regret it. We would fight against you for justice," the woman said
"Bitch, go to hell."
"Bitch, get out of A. Go to hell."
Those crazy students rushed to her and caught her arms tightly.
"Apologize to her. Apologize to our goodness."
"You are the bitch breaking her family. You should give us an explanation."
Even though Scarlet was strong, she couldn’t stop such a large number of people.
But she still hugged Edie tightly and stepped back to the corner. All the students were hitting her.
"Babe, don’t be afraid. I would always protect you. I would make them pay for what they’ve done today, all of them. Stupid fans."
Scarlet said.
She was never a kind girl. She always seeks revenge for the smallest grievance.
At this mont, that woman raised her arms highly and said angrily, "Get out of A, you shaless bitch. Sha on you."
Her hands were about to fall on Scarlet’s face.
The slap would be so hard.
Scarlet closed her eyes. She was going to take the slapping.
But a man appeared suddenly and caught that woman’s hands. He threw her hands away.
The woman was thrown behind. She fell on those students.
The place got wider all of a sudden.
Stuart stood in front of Edie. He squinted, fixing his eyes on those students.
"Who dares to touch my girl? Do you want to die?"
His voice was so angry as if he wound killed anyone next second.
No one suspected his words. He ant it.
Stuart really got angry.
Holy crap.
He never expected soone dared to hurt Edie. At that mont, he really wanted to kill them all.
Looking at Stuart’s cold, scary eyes, all fans were timid.
Stuart turned around and lifted Edie up. Then she turned towards Scarlet, "Thank you so much, Edie. Are you all right?"
"Take her to the hospital now. She’s pregnant. I am fine, don’t worry," she said anxiously, "I would drive back later."
"Okay, take care, "he said and left.
All fell into silence.
Those fans also wanted to leave. But they were stopped.
"Guys, our lawyer would co to you later."
Hearing these words, all the students were frightened.
Scarlet laughed satisfactorily. Stuart indeed still loved Edie deeply. He wouldn’t forgive anyone that dared to hurt Edie a little bit. After realizing this, she felt so happy for Edie.
Stuart took Edie to the hospital to do an all-round check. She was totally fine.
Bruises on her knees looked scary.
Stuart’s face looked bad. His eyes were also scary.
"I am fine. I fell down carelessly. Don’t be mad...." she pulled the corner of his clothes. She worried that he wouldn’t allow her to go out again.
"Let’s go ho."
Stuart said. Then he held her up and hugged her tightly in his arms.
She wore lots of clothes even though she was so light.
He didn’t dare to imagine what would happen if he was a little bit.
He would never allow anyone to hurt Edie.
At the sa ti, Scarlet drove away alone.
She didn’t notice a car following her behind.
In silence.
She drove to a drugstore to buy so dicine and turned back ho. She took her high heel off and lay on her bed. She was exhausted.
So tired.
Though she didn’t do anything, she felt so tired, as if all energy were run out.
At the mont, she heard soone knocking on the door.
She walked to the door and saw the man from the peephole on the door.
It was Jason.
What the hell was he doing here?
Why was he here?
Why did he co here?
All of a sudden, her mind beca a mass. Jason was the man that caused this. She didn’t know how to reflect normally.
She’s been avoiding him for a long ti. She believed that he would find her if he wanted. But he didn’t find her. That ant he already gave up.
"Open the door. Your purse has been thrown behind," Jason stood outside and said in a calm voice.
Purse?
She opened her bag.
Yes. She might lose her purse in the drugstore.
Now the man stood out of the door, taking her purse. It would be awkward if she refused to open the door.
Therefore, Scarlet opened the door.
When both saw each other, the atmosphere beca more embarrassing.
