Edie did not care about Zoe’s fierceness and said calmly, "There’s no need to wait, Miss Anna. You want to know if I am going to tell the director. Now my answer to you is no. I am not a child who runs for help from other people. We are both adults, and I am the type of person who prefers to do things hands-on."
Edie took out a bottle of water from her bag and took off the cap. She then poured it on the top of Zoe’s head. She looked at Edie coldly with her heart full of disdain. She could not believe that Edie would dare to do anything to her.
She never expected Edie to fight back. Zoe widened her eyes and looked at her intensely. The water was falling into her hair and running down her face. It had ruined her makeup that she had so carefully put on this morning.
Edie was not going to give up, and she looked directly at Zoe, saying with a smile, "I will not let Miss Anna go into the swimming pool, but I will let you experience a little of what I experienced yesterday." The next scene of the film was Zoe’s part, but Edie destroyed her makeup.
Zoe was so angry that she raised her hand to slap Edie across the face. Of course, Edie had already predicted that Zoe would do sothing like this. So before she had a chance to move her hand, Edie seized her wrist and said, " I am one step ahead of you. I can almost predict every move you are going to make. Miss Anna, you really haven’t changed. It is so easy for you to slap in the face. You are so predictable."
Zoe was so angry that she was barely able to squeeze out any words from her mouth, "Edie, you are a bitch." Edie chuckled, "I return this word to you, but I advise you had better not waste any ti. Before I got here, Queenie and Charles’s scene was almost over. The next one is yours, right? I am guessing that now your makeup needs to be done again?"
Zoe wanted to answer her back, but suddenly soone knocked at her door. Outside the door was the voice of one of her assistants, "Miss Anna, you’re up." Zoe had an awful expression on her face, and she could barely breathe smoothly with her chest violently going in and out.
This was her first concern, the movie. After all, everything she has done was because of it. She decided not to deal with Edie right now and violently shook her hand from Edie.
Zoe shouted at the door, "Okay, could you co in and help change my clothes!"
Zoe’s assistant was waiting outside the door. They quickly opened the door and walked into the lounge after hearing her orders. Edie left and went outside.
As she was walking away, she could hear Zoe’s assistant ask with surprise, "Miss Anna... what happened? Why is your makeup all ruined?" Zoe scread sharply, "Shut up and help change my clothes! Then ask the makeup artist to co here, NOW! ..."
After the last incident between Edie and Zoe, Edie was waiting for Zoe’s revenge, but to her surprise, Zoe seed to change her attitude over the past couple of days. She beca more low-key and would automatically leave after her filming. She made no conflicts with Edie.
This change in Zoe made Edie very relieved. Edie and Zoe finished their scenes in the movie, and as soon as the director said, "cut." A man suddenly started to clap. Edie frowned, wondering who he was. She turned her head and saw an obese middle-aged man with a big belly, about forty years old.
His head was bald, and the flesh on his face was crowded with skin and slightly distorted. He was smiling vigorously. The director introduced him to everyone, "This is the director of the Universe Entertainnt, President Ross Luis. He ca here on behalf of the Universe Entertainnt to inspect the filming situation of the group."
Universe Entertainnt had invested three hundred thousand dollars and was the most significant independent shareholder of The White-Love-Song. It wasn’t unusual for the company to send soone to the group. President Luis’s evaluation was very crucial for the assessnt of the filming for the Universe Entertainnt.
Edie and Zoe went over and said hello to him, "Nice to et you, President Luis." Zoe and Ross’s eyes instantly t, and Ross’s smile was brighter, "Oh, Miss Anna’s performance was amazing."
The director had seen lots of things in the entertainnt circle and imdiately understood that Ross was here to support Zoe. He was her back up. Although the director only engaged in the rolling of the film, he wanted to flatter this man on behalf of the Universe Entertainnt.
The director comnted on Ross’s words, "Zoe is an outstanding actress and works very hard." Zoe smiled proudly and shook hands with Ross pretending not to know him. Ross hadn’t been with Zoe’s for awhile. He rembered the sweet taste of her.
He was longing to feel her touch, and he secretly pinched her hand. Zoe was actually very disgusted with this annoying obese man, but it was the only way she could deal with Edie. She had to endure her nausea and smiled enthusiastically. Zoe turned and introduced Ross to Edie, "This is the supporting actress, Miss Edie Lara. Although she is a new actress, her acting is quite good."
When Zoe spoke, her tone changed when she said the words "supporting actress." This was a reminder to Ross and that this was the person who had taken her role in the film. Ross got it. He knew that Zoe was relying on him and couldn’t help but feel a little proud. He turned to look at Edie.
When he looked at Edie, his eyes flashed with amazent. Edie just finished filming and was still dressed as Susan. She was beautiful and refined. She was wearing a white skirt and had light makeup on which made her look peaceful.
In the entertainnt circle, there were too many beautiful won. Ross, because of who he had slept with a lot of won over the years. It didn’t matter who she was, and he slept with them all. It ranged from models to famous actresses.
He didn’t care if she was a gorgeous lady or just a sweet and innocent woman. They were all his bed partners. So when he saw Edie, he was surprised by her beauty.
Edie ignoring Zoe’s words shook hands with Ross and had a smile on her face, "Nice to et you, President Luis. I am Edie Lara." Ross quickly took her hand. Her hand was so smooth and delicate that he was reluctant to loosen it and uncontrollably rubbed it twice.
Edie did not expect that this man was such a beast. Her eyes cooled down and secretly used her strength to get her hand out of his. When she took her hand out of his, he smacked his lips with disappointnt.
Zoe stared coldly at the movents of Ross and Edie, and the annoyance of being ignored appeared in her eyes. She turned her eyes and suddenly seed to think of sothing. The corner of her mouth raised a sneer, and she looked at Edie. Her eyes were filled with coldness.
