Stuart was connecting the headquarters, starting to arrange Brittany to take over the group.

Before he t with Edie, he just planned to reach a consensus with the leading company in A, Victory Real Estate, to carve the economy of A. However, after Stuart t with Edie, he changed his decision. Ivan wanted to say sothing to persuade him to take so rest. He should take a rest now. But he suddenly realized that Stuart wouldn’t adopt his suggestion no matter what he said.

Really difficult, really ridiculous. But still, he enjoyed it.
He didn’t leave until Edie arrived at ho and stepped into the house. Then he would return back and open the monitor, as usual, watching her getting busy in the kitchen.
She pulled up her hair slightly and put on the apron. Then she wore the slippers and walked into the kitchen, starting washing vegetables and cooking. Laty was standing asides her to give her a favor.
They were talking and laughing happily.
But because of the noise of pots in the kitchen, Stuart couldn’t hear them clearly.
But...
Seeing that smile on their face, Stuart was so satisfied.
Even if he was not there, he could feel their happiness through the screen. It was enough for him to satisfy.
But, he wanted more. He got greedier.
As usual, Stuart worked till midnight. When he was about to take a nap on the sofa, he saw the light in Edie’s room was turned on.
Edie looked sober as if she didn’t fall in asleep at all.
She walked to Laty’s room and then walked to the kitchen. Then she started cooking noodles with tomatoes and eggs.
Then she took a bowl of noodles to the table and sat down, staring at a spot blankly.

She was chocked with a sob. She started crying painfully.
Seeing this, Stuart’s heart was burning.
On the screen, Edie looked so slim. It was in autumn. It already got quite cold. But she wore a little.
Her shoulder was trembling. She looked so fragile at the mont.
She cried in such a low voice. She didn’t dare to make any sound.
As minutes went by, her eyes got red. Her face was covered with tears.
She cried for a long ti. Finally, she stood up and took the bowl of noodles up, walking to the trash bin. Then she poured the noodles into the trash bin.
She stood beside the trash bin for quite a while and then turned around and left.
Stuart touched the screen. His heart was trembling with his hands.
Why did she suddenly get up to cook noodles? Why did she throw them into the trash bin?
She looked so upset. Why did she press it?
He recalled what he heard when she called soone in her bedroom. She called Arther and asked him about Norman that day.
She could leave that year because of one man. Did they hide sothing from him?
The next morning, when Edie woke up, she could see her eyes getting swallow. She didn’t dare to let Laty see this. So Edie asked Laty to take the bus to school. She told Laty she needed to take more rest.
Laty didn’t think a lot. She completely believed Edie.
After Laty left, Edie got up imdiately. She took a deep breath and started packing up.
She needed to take photos of the old street. She should make herself look energetic.
After washing her face, she got her eyes done with a perfect shape.
Then she walked out of the house. She thought she might be late today. But unexpectedly, when she arrived, she didn’t see one man there.
She called her client.
After quite a while, the phone was answered.
"Miss Jackson, I am so sorry. I didn’t see your calling. Are you on the old street now? If so, co to the comrcial strict, I have a client. He wants you to take several photos. He would also pay you."
The client sounded so exciting.
Edie couldn’t help herself frowning. What the hell was going on there?
The old street used to be the most prosperous street in ancient tis. Therefore, buildings here were all typical. But as the developnt of the economy, most buildings here were dismantled. Gradually, this zone beca the countryside. Except for this street, all other buildings in this zone were replaced by comrcial buildings.
The comrcial street was at the end of the old street. It was still under establishnt.
Her clients were young college students. To take photos, they collected so money together and found Edie on a website. They are all cosplayers. So they didn’t have lots of money to pay Edie. But Edie didn’t care about that. On the contrary, she thought these students’ love for co was just like her love for the old street. She felt she was taking photos of a group of people like her.
When she worked in the company, she was in charge of Sightseeing in Old City.
When Edie arrived, she saw those students were all taking pictures crazily for one man in the suit. The man wore a safety helt. Edie couldn’t see his face clearly. But she assud he might be the leader in this region.
Those students kept screaming out.
"Oh, god. How could he be so cute?"
"How lucky we are today. We really et such a handso man. I need to pose his picture on our campus website."
"What a piece of luck."
Edie walked to them and said, "How could you know he is handso. He is turning his back to you."
Hearing Edie’s voice, a student that contacted Edie before turned around and said, "You must be Miss Jackson, right? I am contacting you on the photographing website. Do you rember?"
"Hi, I am Ceddie Jackson," Edie introduced herself.
