The next day, when Edie and Stuart got up, they enjoyed their breakfast and took walks out. Then they bought so ingredients to make lunch.
No one was at their house. Only two of them. They felt like a new couple living together for the first ti.
When Edie was washing ingredients, she thought of sothing suddenly and asked Stuart, "Stuart, why didn’t we take wedding pictures?"
Hearing this question, Stuart froze for a mont and then turned towards Edie slowly, "Wedding pictures? Do we....do we need this?"
Hearing his words, Edie got so angry that she almost faded out.
He thought they didn’t need to take wedding pictures!
What the hell was he thinking about?
Of course, they needed wedding pictures.
"What do you think?" Edie threw an eye on him and said madly.
"All right. Take Laty. Shall we hang one in our bedroom?"
"Of course."
"Cover bedroom wall to show our love," he said.
"..."Edie got speechless.
Then, in the next few days, Stuart took Laty and Edie to take lots of pictures. Though he said he was taking pictures of the whole family, actually, he mainly took pictures of him and Edie.
Standing at a distance, Laty had no choice but played her own fingers angrily.
Everyone around her told her that her dad was not good at talking. He was a cold and brutal man.
But, why could he find so many excuses to persuade Laty not to take pictures with them?
"Laty, this is our wedding pictures. We should take it together. You can stand asides."
Okay, Laty answered.
Then, it turned to take family pictures. When Laty took one picture, Stuart started talking.
"Laty, your dress is not suitable for you. Change it. We would take pictures first."
After Laty changed her clothes, Stuart said,
"You can take pictures tomorrow. I want to take pictures with your mom alone today. You can wait."
On the next day, when they took photos inside the room, Stuart found lots of excuses to stop Laty from joining them again.
Was he really bad at talking?
Was he really cold?
He looked so enthusiastic about taking pictures with Edie at the mont.
He looked so soft and gentle while talking to the woman taking a picture with him. While standing asides Edie, he couldn’t help himself, keeping smiling all the ti. He always pushed his own daughter away to stay alone with his lovely wife.
Moreover, Edie never realized what happened to her daughter. Stuart could talk to her with just several words. She even followed Stuart’s words and persuaded Laty to take her pictures next ti.
Oh my god. Laty was almost driven crazy.
The woman Laty has spent five years protecting has been taken away by a man.
Stuart and Edie’s marriage soon was spread out all across the world. Everyone was shocked when hearing the news.
It was reported that the president of L.N never showed up in the public since his wife passed away. The president changed a lot. He beca scarier and more brutal. Everyone in the group was scared of him.
So people said he loved his wife so deeply that he might not get married again. Therefore, the president was bound to be a lone man. So people said he forbade all other won from approaching him. One ti, a stupid female secretary touched him once. Then, no one saw that secretary in the group again. The rumor was solved then.
So people suspected that his sexual orientation might change. He might be dating his private secretary...
So many rumors about this man. But now one expected this.
All of a sudden, Mr. President got married to a woman that looked like Mr. President’s ex-wife.
And the woman had a kid.
Did she replace his ex-wife?
But when seeing that woman’s kid, everyone all understood. The kid looked really like Stuart.
So here ca another problem. Who was this woman?
So people said Edie didn’t pass away that year. She ca back to her husband after five years.
So people guessed the woman might be Edie’s twin sister. She might hook up with Stuart five years ago.
Lots of guessing. Everyone was so curious about what really happened.
Because Stuart beca more friendly and kind, more and more businessn dared to walk into his office room directly. But when they walked out, they were all trembling and sweating.
Then they leaned against their partner’s body and said in a trembling voice,
"What’s wrong, Mr. Director? What did Mr. Yates do to you? Did he offer you a high price?"
"No...." the director shook his head imdiately, "Mr. President....smiled at just now.... So...so scary. Please, get out here. This must be their trap. I wouldn’t be cheated by them."
Reading that news about her, Edie raised the corner of her mouth. After getting married to Stuart, she spent lots of ti processing those pictures she took for her clients and looking for more sightseeing.
But she would co back ho earlier than Stuart every ti. Then she would wait for him. When he arrived at ho, she would prepare a pair of slippers for him, taking off his clothes and hanging his clothes on racks.
The first thing Stuart did after he entered the house was to kiss on her forehead and held her into his arms. Then he would ask her what she did at ho and whether she missed him today.
She nodded and smiled, "Guess."
"I guess you must be missing when I miss you."
Stuart said and smiled gently. Then he asked her what she wanted to eat. He has already bought so fruit and yogurt for Laty.
Then, the man wore his apron and walked into the kitchen.
Edie leaned against the door, watching the man getting busy in the kitchen. Sotis, she wondered what those people outsides would think when they saw Stuart at this mont.
Laty ate the fruits and walked to Edie. She curled her lips and said, "What? Was he handso? Why are you staring at his back all the ti?"
"Of course. He is the man I selected out. I am so good at selecting n. Don’t you think so?"
Edie pinched Laty’s little face slightly.
"Edie, you have gotten too proud of yourself. Don’t you feel sha while saying these words in front of ? It was Stuart that found you and kept seeking after you. But you refused him all the ti. Edie, have you realized you are the one that lowers the beauty and intelligence of our family?"
"..."
Edie stared at her and pushed her away a little bit, "Go. Help your dad."
Then they walked into the kitchen to ask Stuart what they could do to help him. Stuart turned around and held them both on the platform of the kitchen.
Laty couldn’t help herself ridiculing, "No wonder Edie was so obsessed with you. You can cook and hug girls like hugging princesses. So charming."
"Don’t fall in love with . I have gotten married to my wife."
Stuart washed a plate of grapes and passed it to them.
When hearing Stuart’s words, Laty couldn’t help herself rolling her eyes, "Don’t worry about this. I would find a better one."
"You are still too young to think about this. Just eat." Edie laughed out when hearing Laty’s answer.
Laty was quite good at talking to her father. The kitchen was filled with their laughter.
Edie smiled and pressed her lips, enjoying looking at her husband and daughter in front of her.
The sunlight in the winter poured down into the floor in the kitchen. The warmth was so precious at this mont.
These days were also precious at the mont for her.
She wanted to seize the mont because she was afraid that she might see such a warm scene again.
Because Norman has already co back, it was ti for her to end all these.
