Edie opened her mouth. She wanted to say sothing. But she realized she couldn’t say a word out.

Stuart never told her anything about his work. So she didn’t know anything happening in the group at all.

She didn’t know why Stuart reford the board of directors. But she believed him. No matter what he did, Edie would always stand on his side.

"Stuart...."

Because of the bullet, Stuart almost fell down. He was in pain that he couldn’t help himself leaning against her. His face looked so pale and weak. His forehead was oozing cold sweat.

She held his body, touching his back with her little hands. She felt sothing.

She took her hand back, staring at the blood in her palm. She was so shocked that she couldn’t say a word out.

She cried out involuntarily.

Stuart took her hands into his arm so that she couldn’t see that blood.

"Don’t touch it. Your cloth is clean. Don’t make it dirty."

He sounded so weak. Edie couldn’t help herself bursting into tears. Tears kept pouring down from her eyes.

"Idiot. Why are you so stupid? He wants to shoot , not you," She finally said.

"I lost you once before. I couldn’t lose you again. It is so painful, Edie. I don’t want to go through again. It is so difficult for , much more difficult than this."

He has suffered a lot before, enough for him.

He went through by-death for lots of ti.

But he still couldn’t stand the pain of losing her again.

Even now, he would feel heart-breaking when reminding those five years when he believed Edie had passed away.

Stuart held her body tightly and made a solemn vow, "Don’t dream of leaving unless I die."

Edie’s tears poured down. She didn’t know what to say to him. He was such a silly and determined man.

She turned around, protecting Stuart behind, "Shoot . Don’t hurt him."
