The look on Zoe’s face was priceless, and she definitely got what she deserved. She indicated that she was a conniving and malicious woman who was born to play evil scenes in movies. Edie looked her over intently while she stared speechlessly at her. Zoe had no reply.
Instead, she walked towards Edie, grabbed her arm tightly, and said, "Are you free tonight?" In Edie’s mind, Zoe was like a malicious cold snake and could bite at any ti. As she held her arm, Edie felt as though she crossed a scary snake. She felt a little uncomfortable.
She pulled her arm back and said, "Sorry, I have sothing to do tonight." Zoe kept smiling, "We still have lots of ti. What about a cup of coffee?"
"Sorry, I felt a little tired. I need to take a rest."
Zoe’s face changed, and her smile disappeared. She sighed. "Miss Lara, I know there have been many misunderstandings between us. I haven’t been very kind to you, and because of that, you don’t like . I just wanted you to know that I have changed. I don’t want to play those tricks anymore. I just wanted to have a conversation with you; honestly, that is the truth."
Pitifully enough, Edie had no interest in her so-called change. "That’s all right, and the movie is almost finished. Chances are we will never work with each other again. All we need to do is our job, and it really isn’t necessary for us to be friends." Then, she turned around and left.
Trying hard to control her anger, Zoe said, "After I am finished with this movie, I am leaving the entertainnt circle. All I want is to sit down and talk to you."
Edie never expected to hear this from Zoe. She stopped, turned around, and looked at her. "Your career is thriving. Why would you want to quit and so suddenly?"
With a bitter smile on her face, Zoe tried to add a sense of sincerity, "I am almost thirty years old, and I don’t have a promising future as an actress, nor do I have a man in my life. This industry is too complicated for . I don’t want to waste any more of my ti."
After hearing this, Edie found it hard not to sympathize with her.
"Actually, you don’t have to..."
Seeing Edie’s reaction, she held her hands imdiately, "I don’t have any friends that I can talk to about this. Would you please just spend a few minutes with ? Please."

She had a feeling that Zoe may do sothing malicious. The cafe was public, so what harm could she do there. She wouldn’t dare try anything. So, Edie agreed.
In the Villa, all the restaurants fell within the four or five-star classification. Even the coffee hall was newly decorated and a very luxurious room. Seeing the transparent French window doors surrounding the place, Edie felt safe.
Edie ordered a cup of coffee while Zoe ordered a latte. The coffee was quickly served.
Slling the fragrance of the coffee, Edie felt relaxed.
Since Zoe was the one that wanted to et, the atmosphere was less tense. Holding the cup, Edie took a sip. Zoe sneered. "I will get my revenge," she said under her breathe.
They talked while drinking. Everything seed quite sweet.
"What made you decide to beco an actress?"
Edie answered, "lack of money, really. I didn’t have much when I was growing up. So, I decided to go to school at the Film Academy in the city."
Zoe froze and asked tentatively, "I thought you were born in a wealthy family. After all, Susan...." This role might be the biggest reason for the feuding between her and Zoe.
Edie beca serious, "Miss Anna, you may not believe this, but I never stole your role on purpose. The day that I t you, I had an audition for knight Errant."
She regretted saying these words because it was on that day that she got ten thousand dollars from Zoe. It would be better not to ntion this at all. For so strange reason, Zoe didn’t look angry.
Zoe didn’t feel guilty; all she wanted at this exact mont was revenge. Edie had finished her coffee, and Zoe abruptly asked, "Have you ever regretted entering the movie industry?"
Edie thought it was a weird question, Zoe just told her that she planned to quit her career. Why would she be asking her if she regretted it? Edie thought it might be because she was in a bad mood.
"I love my career. Why?"
Zoe showed a wry smile, "You will regret it soon."
Staring at her facial expression, Edie frowned, "What do you an?"
Edie started to feel funny, and she said, "It’s getting late. Ti for to go." As she stood up, she felt dizzy suddenly and fell to the floor. Then, she felt her heart beating faster. She was breathing more and more quickly.
Sothing didn’t feel, right? Raising her head, she said to Zoe, "Did you drug ."
Satisfied, she tore off her mask, "Edie, don’t bla . You are just a naive woman. Don’t provoke others unless you are prepared for the consequences. Tonight you will regret choosing to enter into the movie industry."
Edie wanted to say sothing, but her mind was foggy. She struggled to sit up, but she failed and fell to the floor again. Why didn’t anyone in the coffee house notice them?
Making sure that Edie was entirely unconscious, Zoe took her phone out and called him. "Hurry, everything’s almost ready."
Two n from the kitchen quickly ca out. Zoe took out a room card and passed it to one of them.
Looking at Edie, they said, "This room," she burst into a crazy laugh. Edie, don’t bla . You always appear in front of the wrong people.
