When she said these words, Avan walked into the room and placed a fruit plate on the bed stand. Then he walked asides in silence, like a dumb dog.
Laty threw an eye on him. She was so satisfied with the result of her teaching. Avan looked so nice to her now.
Edie hit Laty’s brain slightly hopelessly, "Avan is our guest. Show so respect, babe."
But Laty didn’t know anything about respect. She didn’t care whether Avan was the heir of Louis or not.
"Mom, it is not the right ti to talk about . Don’t you want Dad to regret what he’s done to you? Don’t you want him to go through what you’ve been through?"
"It might be too brutal for him..."

Laty knew Stuart would suspect them if the food was not eaten. Therefore, she ate so and then she took the rest of the food and walked out,
"So little."
"Yes. Mom has no good appetite now. She wants to take a nap. She doesn’t want us to bother her. She might be able to eat more tonight."
"Great. I need to buy more ingredients later. What does she want to eat?"
"She wants sothing delicate."
"Okay. I would buy so."
Stuart didn’t get confused at all. He never expected that his own daughter would lie to him at this mont.
A was close to Lionel. It took Edie an hour to arrive.
When Ann Lara took her here to get rid of her family, they lived here for a period. Therefore, Edie was quite familiar with the city, even though she’s been away from this city for several years.
Edie returned back to the room she lived in. Everything remained the sa. She didn’t expect that the landlord still kept stuff in two boxes.
Because the house was empty now, Edie decided to live in the city rather than the hotel.
The house had been rented out so many tis. But the decoration insides the room remained the sa. She could still see those pictures she put on the wall, a bed, a desk, and a simple closet.
She took her box out of the landlord’s house. Inside the box, she found lots of pictures of her at the age of ten. She looked like a little carrot in the pictures. She looked angry. She didn’t like laughing or smile.
Looking at those pictures, she couldn’t help herself laughing out.
It has been so many years. Ti passed by so quickly. Now she’s gotten married and given birth to a baby. Now she beca a mother.
Would her mother take relief when she saw her daughter grow up?
What would her mother think of her? Edie wondered.
When she rented this house, her landlord just got married. Now, their child went to college.
At noon, when Edie enjoyed lunch with her landlord, her landlord imdiately recognized her. After all, they saw Edie on television every day. But they wouldn’t tell anyone about this.
Edie’s landlord was a businessman. He had an art supplies shop. Most students in the school nearby ca to his shop to buy what they needed.
His wife was in bad physical condition for so many years. The landlord had to take good care of her and their children. He had not have enough ti to watch his store.
Edie had lots of ti now. Therefore, she started helping the landlord in his shop.

Three days after Edie arrived at the city, she called Laty every night to ask her what happened in A. Stuart already knew Edie had left. But he didn’t do anything.
As smart Laty was, she also got confused.

After Edie got familiar with him, she started talking to this man. He was a teacher in the gallery nearby. His na was Joshua Ken.
At nine o’clock, the teacher ca again to buy so pignt for his students. This ti he brought breakfast to her.
Edie stared at him in shock and said, "I’ve had breakfast. You can eat them all."
"I don’t need to eat them all. I buy these for you. These are so delicious. Try it at least." the teacher smiled shyly.
Edie felt a little embarrassed. She nodded politely and smiled.
Then she turned around to take pignt. Then she heard the sound of footsteps at the door. She thought it might be other guests. So she turned around.
It was a man in silver gray. He stood and turned his back to the sunlight. Edie couldn’t see his face, though, she was so familiar with the figure.
He held a bunch of pink rose in arms, gorgeous and heart-breaking roses.
Seeing this, Edie frowned slightly. She couldn’t understand why he showed up all of a sudden. He didn’t do anything when he knew she left A. what the hell was he doing here?
She didn’t greet Stuart. She took the pignt to Joshua and said, "Here you are. Pignt."
"Well... thank you. Don’t forget to try my breakfast."
Hearing these words, Edie showed a bright smile and nodded gently, "I would. Don’t worry."
This was the brightest smile on Edie’s face he’s ever seen these days.
The teacher felt so happy.
He was so shy that he flushed imdiately when seeing that smile on Edie’s face.
When the teacher passed through Stuart, he imdiately felt the power of the man beside him.
As if anyone was no one in front of him.
When he took a close look at Stuart, he imdiately recognized this man. He was the most famous man on television, Stuart.
The teacher took a glimpse at Stuart and then turned around and left.
Edie lowered her head to check the money and ate the breakfast, without even throwing an eye on Stuart.
"This is for you," Stuart said in a flat and tired voice.
"Throw them in the trash bin at the door," Edie said
