Kris squinted and said, " I hope you would keep your word. If I could get married to Jason, I would invite you to our wedding."
"I would attend your wedding," Scarlet forced a smile on the face.
The smile looked gorgeous.
As if she would never get hurt.
"That’s great," Kris sneered and said, "He’s done a lot for you this half of the year. Sadly you might never know."
"Don’t worry about . I don’t need to know. I don’t want to know either."
"Really? I hope so."
Kris sneered and then turned around. Her amber pupils shrunk imdiately. Deep in her eyes were hatred.
After Kris left, Scarlet walked to the lady’s room to fix her make-up.
She saw her face in the mirror. Her face looked tempting and sexual. High and delicate nose. Red lips. Long eyes. Her face was oval.
Her face was perfect.
She looked like her mother.
Therefore, when she grew up, her father said she would be good at seducing n because her mother was really good at this. Her mother seduced another man and left her father.
Scarlet liked Edie’s face. Gorgeous but pure. She could be naughty anyti, like a little cat.
But Scarlet could not do that. She was never able to control the situation. Therefore, she forced herself to be a careless woman, to be the woman on the opposite of her appearance.
Therefore, she kept pretending to care about nothing. She’s got used to those rumors about her. She’s gotten used to getting her drunk with lots of alcohol.
The best friends must be two people that could complent each other. That was the reason that she maintained a close relationship with Edie. Even though it’s been a long ti since they t each other last ti, they still cared for each other.
Scarlet stared at herself in the mirror for a long ti. Then she looked away. It was her own choice. She had no reason to refuse it.
After walking out of the coffee house, looking at those cars coming and going on the road, Scarlet suddenly didn’t know where to go at the mont.
She got into the ca, driving randomly in the city. Finally, she parked at the gate of a residential district.
Jason lived here before. She’s been controlling herself not to miss Jason for such a long ti. When Kris ntioned him in front of her, she couldn’t control herself anymore. She missed him. She missed him so much at the mont.

After hesitating for a while, she decided to enter the house.
When she walked into the house and looked up, she saw the light was not turned on.
She walked to the door and took the key out. She kept the key all these days. She opened the door. This was the first ti for her to gather all courage to open the door after they broke up.
It was dark inside.
All furniture was covered by white linen to protect from ashes. Scarlet didn’t find any sign that anyone ca here before.

Scarlet laughed at herself.
If Jason ca back, he would co to her. If he didn’t co to her, there was only one possibility.
He didn’t want to see her. If he didn’t want to see her, he would not co to this place, the place filled with their mories.
She didn’t enter the house. She didn’t dare to do so.
When she looked inside, all mories popped into her mind.
Jason loved watching a football ga on the sofa. She liked cuddling into his arms and played the iPad.
He would feed her fruits, no matter how focused he was. He never stopped feeding her.
She brought him to the campus to take courses with students, have lectures delivered by the most handso professor in the university. Finally, the professor caught him. The professor said Jason was not a student. He looked like an elite in society.
Unexpectedly, Jason imdiately pointed out the mistake the professor made directly. Then all students listened to Jason’s theory in that class.
After the class, Scarlet heard Jason was the doctor who majored in finance. Besides, he got double degrees, getting all points two years in advance.
When she worked late, Jason would pick her up, and eat so snacks together.
While staying with him, Scarlet seldom drank. Because she needed to drive, when she drank a little when she felt so happy, Jason would remind her to slow down...
She had too much mory with him. Those were all so beautiful. Everyone had their own story, those impressive stories.
Jason was the best man she’s ever t in her life. But....she lost him.
She blinked her eyes, staring at everything inside the room. She tried the best to control herself not to cry out. But tears still poured down. She imdiately closed the door.
However, after she closed the door and left, a man walked out of the darkness.

The next day, when Scarlet arrived at the company, Donald asked her to his office room.
"Mr. Donald, what’s up?"
Donald closed the file. It was the plan of magazine layout for the new quarter she’s submitted.
"Are you lack of inspiration? Do you want to have several days off? You look a little tired these days. Don’t hesitate to tell if you have any difficulties in your life. I would do my best to help you," Donald said gently.
With the help of Karen, Donald did better and better in the dia industry. Now his company has been developed into the leader of the industry in A, much powerful and stronger compared with other enterprises in this industry.
Donald has been more stable and mature. Though he looked so gentle most tis, when he got serious, he indeed looked scary.
Scarlet never expected that she would be good friends with Edie’s ex one day.
"Even you saw my problem. I believe I must be lacking inspiration. But I don’t need to have days off. I still have a few days. I want to try more."
"It is a quarter. Don’t be nervous. But I worry about you. Joanna told you’ve gone to the blind date. Frankly speaking, I am so surprised."
