After Jason left, Scarlet sat alone on the sofa, staring at those dishes needing washing.

At the mont, her mobile phone rang.

It was Donald.

She picked up the phone. Donald asked her in a gentle voice, "Busy?"

"No. He’s gone."

Hearing this, Donald fell into silence.

When Jason called him to ask several days off for Scarlet, Donald thought they must be dating again like those sweet couples. He didn’t expect this.

Which ant that she refused Jason again.

Donald laughed bitterly, "Scarlet, don’t you feel guilty while hurting him so deeply. Even I started sympathizing with him."

"I told him....I’ve already told him what happened to that years. It was not his problem. Then, he left. He returned back to get married to another girl. This is the best result for both of us."

"Don’t you really want to ask him to stay?" Donald sounded a little surprised.

"I have no reason to ask him to stay with ."Scarlet took a deep breath and said in a slight voice. She sounded sad at the mont.

Hearing her voice, Donald pressed his lips and said, "I know. I would not interfere with your relationship. But if you have any difficulties, tell . I would do my best to help you. Have a good rest. Bye."

"Okay, thank you. Bye."

After hanging up the phone, Scarlet got a little sober. She crouched on the sofa, watching TV.

Though she stared at the TV, she didn’t know what those people said on the screen.

At the mont, the door rang. Scarlet was a little confused.

Today was not the weekend. Edie would not co here. Who would it be? She didn’t know.

"Who is it?" Scarlet asked alertly. She reminded of what happened last night. She was still frightened.

The man answered.

A familiar voice.

Low and powerful, like the sound of the violin.

Scarlet was a little shocked. It took her quite a while to say a word out.

She suspected whether she was dreaming. Didn’t he leave just now? Why did he co back? Besides, Jason had the key to her house. He didn’t need her to open the door for him.

She sat there without saying a word. She thought it was just a dream.

At the mont, Jason said again,

"I’ve bought lots of stuff. I couldn’t take the key out of my pocket. Please co to open the door."

It was him....it was definitely him.

Scarlet was so excited that she rushed to the door without wearing her slippers.

She opened the door, seeing that man holding lots of bags filled with food, daily expenses, smiling at her.

"Jason?" she called his na.

The man smiled, "I am here."

Hearing these words, she suddenly burst into tears.

Seeing this, Jason frowned. He imdiately put those bags down, walking to her and wiping tears on her face.

"I know you must be happy when seeing . But you don’t have to cry. I would feel heartbroken when I see you crying."

"Why...why do you co back?" Scarlet fixed her eyes on him.

Her eyes were covered with tears.

He held her palm-sized little face carefully and wiped tears for her.

His fingers were so warm.

He smiled and said, "I saw the fridge was empty when I made breakfast for you this morning. I am worried that you might starve. So I go to buy so food."

"But you should leave, shouldn’t you. I’ve told you..."

"If you could not get rid of that, we can delay getting married. If you could not get rid of that forever, we can delay our wedding forever. Let’s date forever."

Date forever...

Was this his decision?

Scarlet imdiately shook her head, "Why? Why do you do this for ? You should have left , hated , and slapped when you see again..."

Before she said those words out, Jason interrupted her. He nodded seriously, "I’ve thought about these before. You really pissed off. I want to hit you. I want to curse you. But what could I do? I don’t want to do that to you. I don’t want to really do that to you. From now on, I would never force you to get married to . You don’t have to think about anything else. Just live with , okay?"

"You wouldn’t regret it? You can not get married....and you might not be able to have a baby."

She said these words in a trembling voice. This was the most important point. She could not get pregnant.

Jason didn’t get her point. He smiled slightly and said, "Whatever. This might be my fate. I might be bound to not have a baby this life."

She could make him crazy for her. She could hurt him deeply.

"Okay. It is late. I need to cook for you. Co on, help . Stop crying, okay?

He pinched her nose slightly and held her hands to the kitchen. Then he put that food into the fridge.

The whole fridge was filled with food. The house was filled with the warmth of the family.

Actually, she didn’t need to do anything in the kitchen. But Jason didn’t allow her to use the mobile phone. He wanted her to look at him all the ti. He wanted her to stay in his vision. He wanted to see her when he turned around.

She washed those food ingredients, looking at the man’s handso side face. Under the sunlight, he looked more charming.

His eyebrows were sword-shaped. Deep eyes, high nose, and thick lips

The man looked tough and sunny. The smile at the corner of his mouth was tempting. His eyes were long. So attractive.

No one could tell whether he was really smiling or not. Every ti he smiled, he smiled so brightly. That smile can make the world beco brighter and more vivid.

She liked that. She really liked his smile, like a breeze in spring, like the flowers in sumr.

She was focusing on him so much that she forgot to shutdown the tap water. Water ran over. Seeing this, Jason imdiately shut out and surrounded her neck, "What are you thinking about?"

She answered, honestly.

At the mont she said these words out, the kitchen fell into silence.

After quite a while, Jason laughed out.

He held his forehead. It seed that he thought it was difficult to say these words out.

"? But I should go to work this afternoon. What about staying here looking at now?"

"Great," Scarlet smiled slightly. She felt so happy at the mont. Her heart was filled with sweetness.

She leaned against the wall, looking at him seriously,

When he turned around, she imdiately knew what he wanted. Then she would pass it to him.

Jason was a little shocked. He raised his eyes, looking at her. Scarlet smiled without saying a word.

The atmosphere in the kitchen was warm and romantic.
