"I invite Kris to have dinner with us tonight. Have fun. I should check our dishes now."
"Okay," Jason said and asked Kris, "Do you want to eat fruits? I can peel so."
Kris didn’t know how to respond to his gentleness. Hearing these words, she froze.
Jason knocked her head slightly and smiled. Suddenly, he froze.
He still rembered that he did this to Scarlet before for so many tis.
He curled his fingers and managed to keep the smile, "What are you thinking about? I am asking you."
"You have never been so gentle to before. You always look so serious. You always tell we are nothing more than friends. We would never be lovers."
Kris said in a cautious voice. She didn’t want to irritate him.
"Though we could not be lovers, we still could get married. I know I might be too strict with you before, but I’ve changed. I finally realized who is the best choice for . You are the perfect choice for . You are my perfect wife. I am not mistaken.
Hearing these words, Kris finally took a relief. She was so excited that she threw herself into his arms imdiately.
"Jason, tell this is not a dream. Tell this is true. I..."
Kris started sobbing. Tears of happiness poured down from her eyes.
Jason froze. Seeing the tears on her face, instead of holding her in his arms tightly, he got panic. He didn’t know how to do it.
It had been a long ti since he held another woman in his arms.
When he really needed to hug the woman in front of him instead of Scarlet, he rembered Scarlet again. He felt guilty. Strangely enough, he felt guilty.
This feeling confused him. It was Scarlet that should feel guilty.
He overca that ridiculous feeling and padded her back gently with his hands, "This is true. Don’t doubt it."
"Great. Jason. Don’t leave alone again, okay?" Kris looked at him, begging him with her bright eyes.
Looking at Kris, he rembered his own experience.
He would also expect that Scarlet would not kick him away. He was also worried all the ti.
He knew clearly about the feeling of being dumped.
This ti, Jason held her in his arms tightly and said. "I won’t leave you alone again. I promise. Don’t worry."
Her sobbing choked her. She was deeply moved.
When Grace walked out of the kitchen and saw this, she felt relief.
At dinner, when everyone sat together at the table, Zelda William still looked quite serious. He said in a serious voice, "You would get married tomorrow. I’ve invited lots of my friends here. Could you not make feel shaful? Understand?"
"Okay, father."
Hearing the conversation, Grace stared at Zelda, "Kris is still here. Why don’t you say this after dinner?"
"I don’t have ti to talk to you after dinner."
Zelda wore ho clothes. Though, he still looked so serious, as if the man sitting in front of him was his enemy.
Grace didn’t talk to him anymore. She turned towards Kris and said, "I am sorry. You can move out after you get married and co to visit us every week. You don’t have to be nervous."
"I am fine. Thank you for your concern."
"Good girl. Do you like this food?" seeing Kris nodding, she threw an eye on Jason, "Did you hear it? Take so into her plate. You would get married soon. Learn to look after your wife."
Hearing her words, Jason imdiately followed the orders. Though he did this quite smoothly, he still had a strange feeling. He hated this.
He hated it very much.
If Scarlet was here, what would she think of him?
He rembered her all of a sudden again. Why?
Jason suddenly crashed the knife on the table. Hearing the sound, everyone else was astonished.
Except for Zelda, both Grace and Kris looked towards him.
The smile at the corner of Jason’s mouth froze, "I feel sick. I want to take a rest."
Then he turned around and left.
Kris turned towards Grace, looking at her anxiously. Grace frowned deeply.
Jason returned to his room, hitting on the wall with his hands.
But he could not feel the pain anymore. He felt so heartbroken.
He was about to get married to Kris.
She was his fiancée that stayed with him all these tis, these days, to look after him. He knew that clearly.
But deep in his heart, he wanted to replace Kris with another woman.
It must because of his hatred for her. That was why he could not stop thinking about her at the mont.
He took the key angrily and left. He didn’t go through the dining room. Therefore, no one knew he left.
Scarlet was still in the hotel, dealing with lots of work.
She didn’t care about working for a long ti. She wanted to imrse herself in work. She could not fall asleep now.
When she finally finished all work, she reported to Donald and turned on the music, started packing up.
She opened her luggage. There was her wedding dress inside the box. It was ready. She couldn’t return it. So she took it here.
Luckily, the wedding dress could be adjusted to a short dress for the party efficiently.
Maybe this was her fate. She was bound to fail in romantic relationships.
She put the dress on the bed. Then she grips the scissor in her hand tightly. But she was not brave enough to cut it short.
She sighed helplessly and lifted the dress carefully.
"Maybe, this is my fate. I was bound not to be soone’s bride. Let dress this once."
She walked to the bathroom and took off her dress. Then she wore that wedding dress.
The dress was elegant, entirely white, symbolizing the purity of their love. But she didn’t know when she could get soone to marry since her relationship with Jason beca so complicated.
The marriage is not related to two people but two families.
While looking at her charming face in the mirror, Scarlet’s mind was wandering.
As her father described her, she looked like a whore. She was bound to seduce n. No matter how kind she was, she would attract those n.
She sighed, trying to stop her thinking.
She needed to stop thinking about him. She looked away and turned around, stepping out of the bathroom.
At the mont, the door suddenly opened.
She didn’t expect that Jason ca in.
She was shocked.
How could he open the door? Why did he have the key in her room?
