After the doctor left, the ward fell into silence imdiately. Kris still didn’t want to get rid of his hands. She just let him grab her hands all the ti.
Then she started talking, "Jason, you still rember her in your dream. Why couldn’t you look at ? You don’t even throw an eye on ."
At the mont, Jason couldn’t hear any words from her. He was still in his dream. Scarlet left farther and farther. He might fail to catch up with her.
He cried out anxiously.
"No. Don’t leave ."
Hearing his voice, even Kris was shocked.
Jason kept moving his fingers and begging her not to leave him.
Kris grabbed his hands tightly, "I am here. I am right here. I would not leave you. Don’t worry."
"Scarlet, don’t leave , please,"
When he said the last sentence, Kris froze imdiately.
Tears poured out from her eyes.
Jason was calling Scarlet.
The doctor made a mistake. Jason needed them to ntion Scarlet. Because he never forgot that woman.
Nothing worked.
Kris clearly knew Jason would rember Scarlet, sooner or later.
In ten days, or five days, or less than three days.
She had no too much ti to stay with him.
She grabbed his hands tightly and put his hands to her lips. Tears kept pouring out. She cried out, "Jason, why could you not forget her? Why could you not fall in love with ? I am much better than that woman. Why?"
However, the man could not answer her question. He was still calling Scarlet’s na in a painful voice.
Her smile had deeply been carved in his heart. He would never forget that.
He was imrsed in the dream for quite a long ti.
After five days, Jason finally woke up.
When he woke up, he didn’t see any doctors or nurses around. His families were also not there. He got up, looking around. He tried to recall sothing. But he felt such a headache. He could not think of anything.
Why was he here? In the hospital?
His brain went blank. Everything was erased from his mind.
He threw the quilt away and opened the door. He walked along the corridor and stepped into the elevator. Everything around him looked so strange for him.
When Kris returned to the ward, she could not find Jason. Her heart started trembling hard. She imdiately realized Jason had left. He left to look for Scarlet now.
She rushed downstairs. She saw Jason was standing at the door of the garden.
He stood there still.
Seeing him, Kris took a relief. She walked to him and said, "Jason, why are you here? What are you doing?"
Jason turned around, seeing Kris. He raised a slight smile at the corner of his mouth and said, "I am enjoying the sunlight. I could not rember anything when I woke up. I rember we would get married soon. Why was I here? What is the date today?"
Hearing his words, Kris imdiately looked away and laughed, "You haven’t recovered. You lost consciousness the day before our wedding and sleep for five days."
"What about our wedding?"
"We would hold our wedding after you recover totally. You would not be able to get rid of it, don’t worry." Kris tried to pretend to be easy.
Jason nodded. "I see. Of course, I would not get rid of it. I would get married to you. I promise. Oh....have Scarlet arrived here?"
"No, she is not willing to co here," Kris said in an anxious voice, at a quick speed. Her voice was trembling.
Hearing his words, Jason frowned slightly. He fixed his smart eyes on her.
Kris looked quite weird.
Kris felt guiltier. She looked around and changed the topic, "Let’s go back upstairs. How do you feel now? Could you check out now?"
"Yes," the man still frowned. But his voice gradually cald down.
Sothing changed. Jason felt.
Everything turned weird at the mont he returned back to England. He could not rember anything. He lost a part of his mory.
Jason recovered soon. They checked out in the afternoon. When he returned ho, everyone around him looked quite careful, as if they were afraid of sothing.
Kris was discussing the wedding with Grace. They planned to hold the wedding tomorrow.
Hearing this, Jason frowned slightly, "Tomorrow? Would it be too rushed? We need to arrange the hall and a hotel. Our guests still need ti to get prepared."
"You don’t need to worry about them. Get married to Kris as soon as possible. Otherwise, I would feel so nervous for you."
"I’ve promised to get married to her. I would not regret that. What are you worrying about, mother?" Jason frowned and fixed his eyes on Grace.
Seeing his eyes, Grace tried to pretend to relax. She took a sip of water and tried to say sothing else.
Finally, Kris said for her. "I am worried. I want to get married to you as soon as possible. I want to live with you as soon as possible, okay?"
Hearing this, Jason didn’t keep questioning. He nodded and said,
"What about Scarlet? Mother, you’ve promised to invite her. Where is she now?"
Hearing Scarlet’s na from Jason, both Kris and Grace turned weirder.
Grace said in a cold voice, "I don’t agree to invite her. I’ve regretted it. I don’t want to see her on such a happy day."
Kris also said, "I don’t want her to interfere with our relations. Could you give up this for ? Please."
"Yeah. Kris took care of you these days when you got sick on a bed. See, she’s lost weight. Do you really want to let her down?"
Hearing the words, Jason looked towards Kris. Indeed, she’s lost so weight these days. Jason pressed his lips and hesitated.
They didn’t want Scarlet to co again.
That made him feel sad.
He could not find the reason. All he knew was that he was sad.
He finally made the concession, "All right then. I want to take a rest. I feel tired now."
"Okay. You can go now. I can stay with your mother," Kris pushed him.
Jason turned around. At the mont he turned around, his eyes turned darker.
At the mont Jason returned back to his room, he imdiately called Stuart. He asked for Edie.
He thought Edie must know sothing about Scarlet and him.
Edie imdiately took the phone. She asked him confusingly, "What do you want to ask ?"
"What happened between Scarlet and ?"
"What happened between you and her? Don’t you know?"
"I’ve forgotten a lot of things. So I want to ask you what happened between her and after I returned back to England?"
Jason asked her in an anxious voice. His voice was trembling slightly.
However, Edie didn’t know, either.
After Scarlet broke up with Jason, she didn’t hear anything about them anymore.
