At the sa ti, inside the bathroom.
Scarlet buried her head in Jason’s arms. She was so desperate at the mont.
She felt so shaful when Grace saw her doing this with her here.
"So sha."
"What? We are a new couple. It is quite normal. Our mother would understand this. We haven’t finished the kiss. Let’s continue."
Jason kept the smile at the corner of his mouth and leaned towards her. He held her small little face and continued the kiss.
At the mont, Scarlet was too weak to stop him. Therefore, she got imrsed in his deep kiss.
After they got out, Jason asked the secretary to send Grace away. Then he started cooking, while Scarlet was staying with him without doing anything.
Soon, the dinner was ready. When Grace ca back and saw that delicious food, she was slightly surprised.
"You made all these?" Grace asked Scarlet in astonishnt.
Scarlet felt a little guilty. She didn’t know how to answer Grace. Seeing this, Jason imdiately answers for her, "Yeah. Of course, she made all these. I never stepped into the kitchen. She made everything."
"But she didn’t tell she could just now."
Grace sat down and put a piece of napkin in front of her elegantly.
"She doesn’t want to show off in front of you, mother. Please forgive her."
"Of course. I finally find a reason to like you, Scarlet. Co on, sit down. Let’s enjoy the dinner," Grace raised her eyebrows. She was suspecting sothing at the mont. But after thinking for a while, she pressed her lips and held all words back.
During the dinner, Jason was quite considerate. He kept taking food into his mother and his wife’s plate. Quite sweet.
It was so obvious that Jason cared about his wife so much.
After the dinner, when Scarlet wanted to wash dishes, Jason imdiately stood up to help her.
Seeing this, Grace fixed her eyes on them. At the mont, her eyes looked quite profound and depressive.
Scarlet imdiately wanted to stop Jason.
Jason laughed lightly, "She must be tired after preparing that food. As her husband, I should help her now."
"Co here. I want to talk to you alone," Grace said and turned towards the living room. She sounded quite serious. Jason knew he could not refuse her this ti.
The smile at the corner of his mouth disappeared. He put those dishes down and said, "Slow down. I would be right back."
Hearing his words, Scarlet felt so warm at the bottom of her heart. She didn’t do anything just now in the kitchen. She didn’t feel tired at all at the mont.
But the man that loved you deeply wouldn’t think so. He wished he could do anything for you so that you didn’t have to do anything. He would worry about you, no matter what you were doing or whether you were tired or not.
Jason followed Grace to the living room. Then, they sat down.
The atmosphere at the mont was sohow depressing.
He said firstly, "What do you want to tell , mother?"
"You must do lots of housework while living with Scarlet, right?" Grace said in a peaceful voice, fixing her sharp eyes on her son as if she had already seen through his tricks.
Hearing this question, Jason raised a smile at the corner of his mouth. He knew he could not lie to his mother anymore. He touched his nose and decided to be honest with his mother, "Mother, why do you know this?"
"I saw the red spot on your hand back. Caused by hot oil, right? I am a judge. I learn everything from evidence. Do you really think you can lie to ? Besides, tell the truth this ti. If you dare to lie to again, I would not forgive you."
"Okay, mother."
"Who cooks?"
"."
"Who cleans?"
"Still ."
"What does she do at ho?" Grace asked in a cold voice.
Jason laughed out, "I don’t need her to do anything at ho. All she needed to do was to stay with . While I was cooking in the kitchen, she would stay with and talk to . While I was reading at the study, she would work on the sofa. She would watch a football ga with . I would visit the exhibition with her. The woman whom I got married to was a woman that I wanted to love for a while. She’s spent her whole life with . What else could I ask for from her?"
Jason said in a serious voice at the mont, word by word. He raised the corner of his mouth, showing a happy smile.
Anyone could tell that he was so happy at the mont.
Hearing these words, Grace couldn’t help herself trembling slightly. This was her son. But he was totally different from her or her husband.
Why?
"But...you didn’t think so before," Grace frowned slightly, staring at her son heavily.
Jason nodded, "I never really thought about this before. I didn’t start thinking about this until I t Scarlet. I was scared of marriage before. But after I t Scarlet, I always wanted to drag her into the grave of marriage with . Actually, I don’t think I’ve done enough for this girl. I should have done better for her. I want her to be happier."
At the mont, Grace finally realized she totally lost this ti. Scarlet had completely conquered her son. Jason made these changes only for Scarlet.
Scarlet really managed to steal her son away from her. At the mont, Grace thought Jason looked so strange, but lovely.
She sighed, "Why? Why do you choose this girl?"
"I don’t know. Maybe this is fate. She rushed into my room. Like , she also enjoys drinking wine. Before I t her, I just loved to collect different good wines. But after I t her, I wanted to share all the good wine with her. I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I would feel so lonely if she is not around . Could you understand, mother?"
Jason asked his mother in a slight voice. But he sounded so serious that Grace didn’t even know how to answer him.
After quite a while, Grace laughed out. She said in a relieved voice, "When would you hold the wedding? I would attend the wedding. I don’t know whether your father would co or now. I really don’t want to care about that old man anymore."
When ntioning Zelda, Grace still sounded so angry. Apparently, she was still so mad at him.
Hearing her words, Jason smiled bitterly, "Mother, do you really want to get a divorce with my father? All your students would know that."
"He really pissed off. You know what? He’s drafted the divorce announcent. He was planning to hold a news conference to announce this. How dares he. Fine. I can fight back. You don’t have to worry about this. It is none of your business. But I should live here these days. You can also stay here. It’s been such a long ti since we spent ti together with each other last ti."
"Great. We also want to stay with you for a few days. I believe you would like Scarlet. She is a charming girl. She deserves my love. I am also willing to love her."

Jason nodded and walked to the dining room. Scarlet had cleaned the table. Now she was washing dishes in the kitchen. Wearing an apron, she looked quite serious.
She was so focused that she didn’t even realize the man was approaching. When he hugged her behind, Scarlet trembled slightly.
But she imdiately reflected.
"Have you finished? What did she tell you?" Scarlet turned around and asked the man in front of her carefully.
"Mother knew it was that cooked that food."
"What? What can I do now then? How could I do it? She must be so angry with now."
Hearing Jason’s words, Scarlet got panicked. She got rid of Jason’s arms and wanted to explain Grace. She really wanted to be a good daughter in law in this family. She didn’t an to lie to her. As long as she could stay with Jason, she was definitely willing to learn to cook.
"She must be so angry now. I lied to her on the first day I entered into this family. I think she must hate more now. Is it too late to cook now? I can learn. I can learn to cook. Would she forgive ?"
