After getting into the car, Edie called the Villa. Mr. Sampson answered it quickly, "Hello, this is the Yates’s residence."
"Mr. Sampson, it’s , Edie."
"Young Madam, have you forgotten sothing?"
"No, no," Edie felt fearful and anxious and asking in a low voice, "Is Stuart ho?"
"He went to the cooperation," rembering their quarrel this morning, Mr. Sampson still felt nervous. He looked around to make sure there wasn’t anyone listening, and he said in a low voice, "He looked a little angry when he left."
Stuart really got angry with her. Edie looked pale. She really had no idea how to deal with this situation. She was feeling lost, and she asked Mr. Sampson, "I know....I overreacted this morning. It is understandable that he got angry with . Mr. Sampson, could you tell how I could apologize to him?"
Edie felt terrible. Young madam wanted to apologize to the young master. It was great news. Mr. Sampson spared no effort to offer the advice, "Young madam, young master cares about you very much. He would definitely forgive you the mont you apologize to him."
"Then, I will go to his company later?"
The newly-married wife is visiting her husband in the company. How lovely that was.
"Of course," Mr. Sampson replied imdiately, and he continued, "It would be best if you could go there. Sooner rather than later. It is about ti for lunch. You can bring him so lunch. He would be touched. Naturally, he would forgive you."
Thinking for a mont, Edie couldn’t find a better thod. If she brought him lunch, he wouldn’t throw it back.
"What kind of food does he like?"
"Sashimi from Mysterious Tree. You can bring that."
"Alright. I will."
After hanging up the phone down, Edie started the engine. She drove directly towards the Mysterious Tree. It was the best Japanese restaurant in the city, more than ten thousand dollars per person. If it were not for Stuart, she would never co to this place. But for Stuart, this place was just an average level.
After ordering two Sashimi and two sushi, she checked the bill. She was shocked. It cost her four thousand and eight hundred dollars. It was understandable. It was impossible for Stuart Yates to eat regular food.
After paying the bill, Edie reminded herself not to provoke Stuart again. Otherwise, he would lose more money. After getting the food, she drove to the headquarters building of L.N. cooperation.
The building was the tallest building in the city. With a modern style, it could be called one of the wonders of this city.
After parking the car, she took the food and walked into the building. As soon as she entered the building, she saw the receptionist’s standard smile.
"Hello, what can I do for you?"
"Stuart Yates."
As she said these two words, the smile on the receptionist’s face was frozen. During the three years since she had been working here, she was the first one who dared to say their CEO’s na directly. Taking a casual look at Edie, she had to acknowledge that she was gorgeous.
But it was said that their CEO didn’t like won. Therefore, she assud that she was not his fiancé or girlfriend. With her dress and behavior, she didn’t look like any noble. So she wouldn’t be his relative.
"Do you mind telling your na?"
"Edie Lara."
Edie Lara. She never heard this na before. Apparently, she never booked a eting before.
"Private eting or representing your cooperation?"
Hearing her question, Edie froze. Was it always this hard to visit Stuart?"
"Private eting."
The receptionist’s face changed slightly after hearing her answer, and As expected, she was just a wild woman who didn’t know anything. She assud that the woman in front of her didn’t even know who Stuart was. She dared to say his na and ask to et with him.
The receptionist changed the expression on her face. She looked down at her.
"Sorry. Our CEO’s schedule is full. If you want to et with him, submit your reason to the CEO’s secretary team. After they finish the audit, they will submit it to the secretary director. After they approve, you will be put on the eting list of our CEO."
While she was saying this, she showed an ironic smile, "Do you have any other problems?" Hearing all these words, Edie totally got confused. So much confusion and only to visit Stuart. Edie was being stared at by the receptionist, she nodded reluctantly, "No, I get it."
Then, she turned around and started to leave. "Forget it, I’ll just go back ho and wait for him there. It’d better not bother Stuart." As she stepped away, the receptionist said behind her back, without lowering her voice, "Such an arrogant bitch."
The minute she heard this, her face was flushed with anger, and Edie changed her idea entirely. Pissed off, she turned around and walked back to the receptionist. The receptionist didn’t expect she would co back. So, she wasn’t going to have a friendly attitude towards her anymore.
She didn’t even try to smile. Raising her eyes lazily, she stared at Edie, "What’s up? Don’t waste the space if you don’t have any business here. All the celebrities co here. It belongs to them. Don’t you ever dare try to damage our image?"
Hearing her ridiculing, Edie took her phone out and called Ivan, without even looking at the receptionist. Ivan might be working, she let it ring for quite so ti, but no one answered the phone.
The receptionist thought she was trying to put on an act. Rolling her eyes, she was about to call the security to take her away. Just then, Ivan answered the phone.
Edie said imdiately, "Ivan, it is Edie." Hearing her words, the receptionist froze, totally.
"Ivan? Which Ivan?"
As a receptionist, she can even recite the staff list backward fluently. Researching in her mory, she could only find one man called Ivan. He was the secretary director of the CEO.
That was not true....if this woman knew Ivan, then why should she co here to book a eting? Why didn’t she call Ivan directly? She must be acting. The receptionist got angrier, and she called the security.
"Security, please co down to the first floor. A lady is here, asking for the CEO. She doesn’t want to leave. I am worried that she will cause so trouble here. Can you co to handle the situation."
"Copy that."
After hanging up the phone, she was preparing to make fun of her. Straightening her back, she ignored Edie on purpose.
