The little one stared at her tired face and asked with concern, also reaching out a small hand to touch her face.
Hearing his babyish concern, Mo Jun imdiately smiled, "No, mommy’s probably just a bit tired, don’t worry, I’m fine."
In fact, Little Ping’an could sense she was tired too, she was always busy and never seed to have any free ti.
"I don’t want mommy to be tired." The little one, not knowing what else to say, voiced his thoughts directly.
Mo Jun happily kissed him on the cheek and said, "Don’t worry, mommy will adjust. Let’s go, we’ll go find great-grandfather after breakfast, he’s surely waiting for you."
"Okay!" Little Ping’an nodded with a smile. He also loved going to see great-grandfather every day.
Because great-grandfather taught him to read and write every day, he wanted to beco smart and read lots of books.
After getting Little Ping’an dressed and washed, Mo Jun took him downstairs for breakfast.
Xia Pu had also gotten up early.
Mo Jun saw her sitting in the dining room, seeming a bit absent-minded.
"Xiaopu, what’s wrong? Didn’t you rest well? Or are you feeling unwell?" Mo Jun asked with concern.
Xia Pu shook her head with a smile, "No, I’ve been fine recently. It’s just that because I’ve been well lately, so..."
Mo Jun understood what she ant.
Xia Pu must be suspecting Ye Hong. Ye Hong was her good friend, and if she truly had any harmful thoughts towards her, Xia Pu would surely feel awful.
"Being healthy is a good thing, don’t overthink the rest. Hurry and eat your breakfast, Little Ping’an, let’s have a race with Aunt Xiaopu to see who finishes first, okay?" Mo Jun said to lighten the mood.
"Okay!" Little Ping’an answered happily, picking up his small spoon and starting to eat his porridge.
He, like Xia Pu, was not in good health, so the food they consud was very refined and ticulously prepared.
However, during this ti, under the joint care of Mo Jun and Old Man Hao, Little Ping’an seed to have grown a bit chubbier and fairer. Plus, with the special potion Mo Jun prepared to help condition his body, his spirits had improved significantly lately.
And then, impressively, he finished a bowl of porridge!
"Mommy, I finished all of it!" Little Ping’an eagerly showed off, displaying the empty bowl to Mo Jun.
The little one ate adhering strictly to the principle of ’every grain is hard-earned,’ finishing the porridge cleanly without leaving a single bit.
Mo Jun happily rewarded him with a kiss, "Baby, you’re amazing! You’re better than both Aunt Xiaopu and , we’re not even finished yet."
"I’ll wait for you guys." Little Ping’an said with a cute laugh.
"Okay, you wait for us." Mo Jun and Xia Pu laughed together. Having a child made their lives feel much more joyous.
After breakfast, Mo Jun and Xia Pu parted ways, and Mo Jun took Little Ping’an along.
Just then, the car sent by Old Man Hao to pick up Little Ping’an arrived. Shortly after, Hao Yansen’s car also arrived to pick up Mo Jun.
After seeing Little Ping’an off in the car, Mo Jun then went to get into Hao Yansen’s car.
Lately, Hao Yansen had been picking her up to go to the company every day. Mo Jun had gotten used to it and didn’t even need him to get out and open the door for her anymore; she would just walk straight to his car.
The car door opened automatically, and Mo Jun couldn’t help but quicken her pace. But unexpectedly, her heel suddenly stepped on a small stone, and she fell abruptly, scraping her knee hard.
Seeing her fall, Hao Yansen imdiately got out of the car and rushed over, "Are you alright? Did you hurt yourself?!"
