Chapter 213: Chapter 213: It’s Just a Dog
“Bang—” Ling Chongsheng really fired the gun.
But a group of people suddenly rushed over and tackled him to the ground, several gun barrels now pointed at him.
Chu Zhongtian, who fell to the ground in a sorry state, angrily got up, rage and killing intent uncontrollably spreading in his eyes.
“You actually dared to shoot at !” He glared fiercely at Ling Chongsheng, all talk of righteousness and brotherly love gone.
“You bastard, who do you think you are, who gave you the guts to shoot at ! Did you really think you were the leader of the Heavenly Sect? You’re nothing but a dog I’ve raised!”
In a flash, furious Chu Zhongtian pulled out a pistol and pointed it at him, now it was his turn to want to kill him.
Pinned to the ground, Ling Chongsheng stared back fiercely, his eyes filled with endless hatred and pain, “So you finally admit it, you never saw as a brother, did you?”
Chu Zhongtian let out a cold laugh, “Brother? If you hadn’t betrayed , we would still be brothers. If you betray , you’re nothing.”
“It was you who betrayed first—” Ling Chongsheng roared furiously with hate.
Chu Zhongtian’s gaze was equally cold, “That’s because you don’t know what’s good for you! I put you in charge of the Heavenly Sect because I valued you, but you, you would easily leave over a woman. Did you think leaving would be that easy? If you want to leave, you’d have to see if I agree, if the brothers agree!”
“So you finally admit it, everything was your doing?”
Chu Zhongtian scoffed with disdain, “So what if it was ? I am the true master of the Heavenly Sect, I can do whatever I want. Including wanting to kill you, then killing you!”
“Chu Zhongtian, you son of a bitch, I’ll kill you!” Ling Chongsheng, on the verge of collapse, suddenly flew into a rage, struggling free from those holding him down and lunging towards Chu Zhongtian.
But Chu Zhongtian suddenly shot him in the thigh!
“Bang—” The gunshot echoed, and Ling Chongsheng’s body thudded to his knees.
He looked up in disbelief, his eyes trembling uncontrollably.
Chu Zhongtian’s gaze, however, was very cold, without a trace of remorse or struggle.
As if the person he had just shot was nothing more than a dog, not his own brother…
“Chu Zhongtian, how cruel you are. I was blind to repeatedly risk my life for you.” Ling Chongsheng let out a self-mocking cold laugh.
Then he looked at the others, shouting, “Did all of you see that? This is Chu Zhongtian, a ruthless and selfish man! In his eyes, there is only his own interest, my fate today will be your fate tomorrow! He can dispose of his own brothers at will, let alone you! So do you still want to risk your lives for him, still want to aid and abet him?!”
The others, upon hearing his words, fell silent.
But no one ca forward to speak for him.
Chu Zhongtian mocked with a cold laugh, “Ling Chongsheng, there’s no use. They are all my people, the whole Heavenly Sect is mine. They will do whatever I tell them to do, because I am the master here. You thought they were your brothers, well then, I’ll let you see what they really think of you. Give him a good beating!”
“Yes…” Imdiately, so people stepped forward to grab Ling Chongsheng, and then, fists viciously hamred into his abdon and face, over and over!
Ling Chongsheng couldn’t believe what he was seeing as he opened his eyes wide.
Because the person who was now attacking him was a brother that he had always thought highly of.
He had been through life and death with him, and regarded him as his own brother.
But now, he was rcilessly striking him down…
