Mo Jun helped her up, smiling, “I’ve been here for half an hour. You had a severe fever earlier, but now it seems you’ve cooled down a lot.”
Only then did Xia Pu rember that Mo Jun had given her dicine.
Xia Pu was puzzled, “What did you give ? Why did I get better so fast?”
“Xiaopu, do you trust ?” Mo Jun responded with another question instead of answering.
Xia Pu nodded, “Of course.”
Mo Jun handed her a bottle of dicine, “This is what I gave you. It can only relieve your pain; it can’t cure you. If you trust , just take two pills a day from now on.”
“What is this?” Xia Pu asked in surprise, taking the dicine. “Where did you get this?”
Mo Jun smiled and shook her head, “Don’t ask about that; as long as it helps you, that’s good enough. If you don’t trust it, you can get it checked.”
“After you gave it to earlier, I felt so much better; how could I not trust you? Xiaoyun, thank you,” Xia Pu said sincerely. In this special period, she really appreciated having a friend who wasn’t disgusted by her and who cared so much about her.
Mo Jun said with a smile, “Aren’t we friends? You don’t need to thank . I’ve been busy lately and haven’t been in touch with you. Are you doing well? Why do I see you’ve lost weight again?”
Not only that, but her dark circles were much worse, and she looked much more haggard overall.
Xia Pu nodded, “I’m fine; don’t worry. I’ll hold on until the very last mont.”
As soon as Xia Pu finished speaking, Chen Ma pushed the door open and walked in. Seeing that Xia Pu seed much better, she was very happy, “Miss, are you feeling better?”
Xia Pu nodded, “Yes, I’m much better.”
“That’s great, you must have felt happy seeing Miss Luo and got better because of that. Miss, I’ve told you before, you should go out more and not stay cooped up at ho all the ti. Or even go on a vacation, a change of scenery could do you good.”
Xia Pu said with amusent, “Chen Ma, what vacation should I take by myself? It’s pretty good staying at ho.”
Chen Ma disagreed, “The ho is fine, but you should still get out more. You’re pregnant now, going out for so fresh air will be good for both you and the baby.”
