Finally, her frightful screams snapped Gu Shaocheng out of his blind rage, like a bucket of cold water being dumped over his head.
Looking at Chenxing’s face, plastered with teardrops and filled with fear, was like a dagger stabbing him right in the heart.
Instantly, a searing pain shot through his heart.
Looking at the scratches and bite marks all over her body, he wished he could shoot himself!
What on earth had he done to the trembling woman in his arms?
He couldn’t believe he had vented his limitless rage on her.
And cruelly, he saw her bleeding down there...
"Butler! Butler! Get the doctor over here, quick!" He bellowed at the door. The butler snapped back to reality and ran out, scrambling to follow his orders.
Gu Shaocheng hastily threw his own shirt over her, only to be t with her desperate struggle. Like a helpless hedgehog, she pleaded pitifully, "Don’t be like this...please don’t be like this...I beg you...I’ll never provoke you again...I’ll do just as you say...I beg you, don’t hurt ...don’t hurt ...I’m so terrified of you..."
