Chenxing giggled, "It doesn’t hurt."
The very next second, Gu Shaocheng grabbed the back of her head and bit her lip hard: "Won’t bite you to death."
Chenxing winced in pain, "It really hurts."
"Serves you right!"
Sob... this misogynistic bad man!
While grumbling to herself, Chenxing didn’t hesitate to enter another store, purchasing a heap of princess-thed items, swiping her card again and again, carrying bags large and small, and finally when she left the mall, the trunk and even the seats were packed with stuff.
Seeing his tall body cramd in with a bunch of baby products, Chenxing burst into laughter. Ha-ha, revenge accomplished!

The car crawled slowly along the busy street, catching the after-work traffic rush, completely blocked.
Alas.
Leaning out the window, watching the car crawl like a snail, Chenxing sighed several tis.
Turning her head, Gu Shaocheng was busy working on his laptop; out of sheer boredom, she leaned in to watch him work.
Gu Shaocheng slightly lifted his eyes, a knowing smile creeping across his lips: "Bored?"
She nodded vigorously.
"Watch a movie?"
"Don’t want to, it’s boring." She propped her chin on her hand, shaking her head, her plump lips slightly pouting upward: "I’ll just watch you work, you ignore ."
He humd in response, probably really busy, and didn’t continue chatting with her, but instead focused on analyzing the 3D render on the screen, filled with lines and data—Chenxing could not figure out what it depicted even after staring for a long ti. "What is this diagram?"
"A model diagram, for aerospace products. You wouldn’t understand even if I explained."
Chenxing huffed lightly, thinking if you don’t tell , of course I won’t know; if you tell once, won’t I get it?
Really now.
Chenxing pursed her lips, "Shaocheng, can I tell you sothing?"
He murmured a response, his gaze still fixed on the model diagram on his laptop screen.
"But first you have to promise not to get mad at ." She took a deep breath, feeling a bit nervous, clenching her fingers and then looking at his profile, realizing he was still casually talking to her, fully engrossed in the model, she couldn’t help adding another plea: "Okay?"
"If you already anticipate that I might get mad, why state it? Are you seeking punishnt?" He pulled out his phone, dialed a number, and then focused on discussing the final model prototype with the person on the other end of the call.
After a five-minute call, he hung up and noticed she was still bowing her head fretfully. He couldn’t resist smiling, reached out, and lifted her chin: "What are you thinking about? Go on, what’s the thing that you think would make angry?"
At this mont, the car was no longer stuck, speeding along the highway.
Chenxing pouted her lips: "Maybe I shouldn’t say it." To avoid upsetting him, not to spoil the good mood.
Gu Shaocheng closed his laptop, set it aside, then pulled her closer to him, holding her tight and spoke in a mild voice, "Tell , even if it’s sothing that might make angry, for the sake of my son, I’ll hold back."
"Maybe I still shouldn’t say it, I’m scared..." She made a fearful expression, even playfully patting her own chest.
Gu Shaocheng saw she wasn’t really planning to speak, clearly putting on a show for him, sighed and said, "This is your last chance, no more waiting after this."
