Hua Hua was brimming with anger with nowhere to vent, and Chenxing’s "sorry" hit him right in the line of fire. He reached out his hand and fiercely poked her between the eyebrows:
"You think a single ’sorry’ can settle everything?!"
"You think a single ’sorry’ can make willingly walk into the Sahara Desert to die?!"
"You think a single ’sorry’ can make up for the unforgivable cri you committed against ?!"
"Chenxing, do you have any idea how many fans I have? If I expose on WeChat that you can’t tolerate , do you know how many Hua Hua fans would drown you in their spit?"
"And don’t forget—you still want to design the most beautiful wedding dress for you, right? If you don’t believe , I’ll make you the ugliest bride in the world!"
Chenxing bit her lip, her heart clenching tightly with guilt. Being poked between the eyebrows, she stepped back one step at a ti: "But I didn’t do it on purpose. I tried to talk Shaocheng out of it, but he said I wasn’t allowed to interfere with this matter anymore."
"Don’t give that fake stuff! I’m telling you, this ss is yours. You better fix it! Whether it takes crying, throwing fits, or seducing him, you have to make my brother change his mind. Otherwise, I’m not letting this go!"
Chenxing froze for a mont: "I’ll try again, I’ll try again. Don’t get so worked up."
"I’m already desperate! How can you tell not to panic?! Put yourself in my shoes—imagine my brother sending you off to the Sahara Desert. Would you still stay calm?!"
"Are you jealous of ? Jealous that I look better than you, that my skin is better than yours? That’s why you’re secretly ssing with ? Chenxing, I really misjudged you! Go figure out a way to make my brother change his mind. Hurry!!!!!!!"
Covered in spit from being yelled at, Chenxing felt utterly miserable.
Under Hua Hua’s bloodshot glare, she had no choice but to retreat.
But how could she possibly change sothing that Shaocheng had decided? Chenxing felt so frustrated—she thought Hua Hua saw her as so kind of venomous woman now. Heaven knows, this wasn’t her doing.
Left with no choice, she started coaxing him with pillow talk.
She kept at it for several days, but it had no effect on Shaocheng’s decision.
After one last desperate attempt, she realized how insignificant her words were. From then on, she didn’t dare bring it up again. She even started avoiding Hua Hua—hiding in the lounge all day, not daring to co out. If Hua Hua ca into the lounge, she’d hide in the bedroom. She just kept dodging Hua Hua. She heard Hua Hua had been arguing with Shaocheng day and night for the past few days—the morning, the evening, every tactic imaginable. He was even dead serious about cutting ties with Shaocheng, but Shaocheng completely ignored him.
Ti flew by, and the night before Hua Hua was to be sent away arrived in the blink of an eye.
After taking a shower and turning off the lights to prepare for bed, Chenxing finally gathered the courage to hug her beloved man. Resting her head on Gu Shaocheng’s arm, she softly asked him, "Shaocheng, are you really going to send Hua Hua to the Sahara Desert? Why send him to such a harsh place? Isn’t there sowhere else? What about City E? Hua Hua is on the verge of heartbreak—he’s saying on Weibo that he doesn’t want to live anymore, asking people to light candles for him and pray that he survives... It’s so pitiful when he says it..."
"That’s an oasis in the desert. Yes, life there is a bit tough—no internet, no bars, no shady n. I think it’s perfect for him. It’s a great place to cultivate his character and polish his temperant."
