Gu Shaocheng pretended to play dumb, raising one eyebrow slightly while signaling to Nan Baihao. The latter imdiately helped him up, but after a couple of failed attempts, ended up hoisting him over his shoulder and carrying him to the couch in the living room.
The two n glanced at Chenxing’s expression and, sensing danger, decisively shut their mouths. The guest room fell silent, while the sound of rain outside grew even louder.
Since his legs losing function wasn’t a first-ti occurrence, neither Gu Shaocheng nor Nan Baihao were too concerned, figuring he’d recover within minutes. Taking advantage of the downti, they started discussing business matters.
