"Chenxing, explain to properly, how did you get kidnapped while staying put in your room?"
Chenxing sat beside him, her previously upset face now looking downcast: "I don’t know, soone knocked on the door saying they were looking for you. I was just getting my phone and then I passed out. When I woke up, I was in this place. Is that old man really your grandfather?"
"Who allowed you to open the door when a stranger knocked?" Gu Shaocheng kept a stern face. Seeing her obedient deanor, he couldn’t lose his temper, but his tone remained firm and serious: "From now on, do not open the door for strangers. Learn this lesson. You were lucky this ti, but what if a real criminal ca the next ti? What would you do then?"

Chenxing ca to the belated realization that Gu Shaocheng was right. However, her heart lit up with joy at how quickly he had appeared to take her away. She naturally slid her arm through his and laid her head on it: "I will let others bully from now on."
"Whoever dares to bully my woman, I’ll skin them alive!"
Hee hee, she found this sentence very satisfying. "I’m hungry, can we go grab sothing to eat?"
She blinked her eyes and rubbed her belly. Gu Shaocheng helplessly shook his head and instructed the driver to find a decent restaurant to park at.
"Shaocheng, it’s so good to have you." After a satisfying al and drink, the pair headed back to the hotel. She held his hand along the way, acting coy and sweet, her coquettish words echoing in Gu Shaocheng’s ears, causing ripples in his heart.
He didn’t say anything, just held her in his arms, closing his eyes to rest.
However, Chenxing had other intentions. The day’s sweet talk and coyness was a prelude for her impending request: "Shaocheng, I heard that Jianqing has disappeared. Did you do it? Can you let him go?"
"Don’t ntion another man’s na in front of ." Upon hearing her words, Gu Shaocheng’s tone carried a tinge of displeasure.

She plucked up the courage and shook his arm, asking softly: "Can you do it?"
