Chenxing blinked gently, propping her chin with one hand, emotionally singing "Winter’s Secret" back and forth twice. Seeing Gu Shaocheng looking pensive, she playfully waggled her finger in front of him.
"Shaocheng, what are you thinking about?"
Gu Shaocheng snapped back to reality, his long palm clasping her hand tightly. With a firm tug, he pulled her onto his lap, his gaze falling on her fingers with a hint of tenderness. "Why are your hands so red from the cold? I told you not to play in the snow, but you still secretly did it behind my back? Be careful of frostbite!"
With that, he authoritatively tucked her ice-cold hands under his clothes, pressing them directly against his warm stomach to warm them up.
Chenxing yelped, "Aren’t you afraid of the cold?"
Her hands were so cold, yet he let her press them against his warm belly. Chenxing quickly tried to pull them away.
But Gu Shaocheng wouldn’t let her escape. He lightly patted her head, eyes filled with affection, but the next second, he pinched her nose and asked teasingly, "Where’s the reflection letter I asked you to write?"
Chenxing thought, oh no, he’s bringing up old issues as soon as we’re back. She quickly thought it over, then raised an eyebrow and said, "I wrote it! It’s on my phone; let read it to you."
Finally getting a chance to pull her hand out, she opened the WORD docunt on her phone.
She cleared her throat, puffed out her chest.

She hadn’t finished reading when Gu Shaocheng grabbed her phone, disliking her slow reading pace, and started scrolling through her reflection letter himself, finding more phrases like "Only envy lovers, not immortals", "Beyond Mount Wu, there are no clouds"... Just a bunch of sweet nothings (sugar-coated words).
Gu Shaocheng scoffed, handing the phone back to her. "This is a reflection letter? Why can’t I read any attitude of admitting mistake between the lines?"
Chenxing thought, didn’t this dazzle you? She imdiately changed tactics, wrapping her arms around his neck and offering a kiss. Gu Shaocheng turned his head to dodge, making Chenxing slightly frustrated, realizing that tricks wouldn’t work. She lanted, "Who told you to hold lovingly every day? I’ve almost been squeezed dry by you!"
"So that’s why you run out every day and never stay ho? Still trying to play mind gas with , huh?" Gu Shaocheng deliberately didn’t show her a good face, thinking that he must not encourage her fearless guts, or where would his dayti benefits go?
