Ling Yin’s expression changed slightly. He was in a eting, discussing major project decisions and investnt directions for the year. But at this mont, the other six executives were sitting silently because the eting was paused. He held the phone and heard Hua Hua say, "Do you have any dicine?" He should have laughed because it was genuinely a funny thing to say, but he didn’t. He just casually furrowed his brows and said, "Co to ."
Ling Yin stood up and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window. Even though they were separated by mountains and seas, he seed to sense the mood of the man on the other end of the call was downcast.
Thinking about why his mood might be bad, Ling Yin pressed his lips together, a deep layer of heartache rising within his eyes. He thought for a mont, gripping the phone tightly, his words clear, almost like an invitation: "I am your best redy!"
"Heh..." Hua Hua chuckled.
With a faint touch of self-mockery, his tall, slender body leaned against the doorfra, his gaze drifting aimlessly onto the snow-covered footprints littering the ground outside. Those overlapping footprints were like the entangled troubles in his heart. Hua Hua said each word with sorrow: "I should be beyond cure."

He truly wished to hold him in the palm of his hand, to care for him endlessly, as long as he was willing to walk into that prison-like world.
"You’ll find that losing one giant tree, there’s an entire forest waiting for you." And in this whole forest, even if all the trees are cut down, he wanted Hua Hua to see him at first sight as the best place for comfort!
With this thought, a dazzling light burst forth from Ling Yin’s eyes.
"I’ve long lost the ability to love. In this life, there won’t be another who can embed this deeply in my heart." Hua Hua spoke as if to Ling Yin, yet more like talking to himself. Saying this, he had already hung up the phone.
Why did he call Ling Yin?

"Hua Hua?" Ling Yin held the phone but suddenly heard the busy tone.
Why did it hang up?
Calling on his own and asking if he had any dicine at first sentence—clearly, there was a breakthrough in his heart for him to seize the opportunity. Ling Yin stared at the phone screen, pressing his lips, deep in thought...
"Ahem!" Little Yan tapped on the table, reclined back lazily, and teased: "President Ling, are we going to have the eting or not? If not, I’m leaving?"
