He called Crimson Shadow, standing by the sea, feeling the cold wind. The sea breeze was a bit chilly, sweeping past his eyes, carrying away cool tears, but surprisingly it felt sowhat comforting.
Looking around, everything was dark, and he couldn’t see the road signs clearly.
This was a strange city for him, so unfamiliar that apart from Ling Yin, he had no friends, and didn’t even know his current location!
The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks below the cliff was fierce, as if trying to break through the cliff and sweep him away. He felt a bit timid and retreated two steps.
In the end, he hung up the unanswered call, lowered his head, looked at the phone screen, swiped to open the location map, took a screenshot, and sent a multidia ssage to Crimson Shadow.
Ling Yin erged from the car, keeping the distance of a car between them, looking at Hua Hua.
His heart ached.
He even felt that due to his reckless words and actions earlier, the little progress that was made had disappeared like an illusion, silently fading away.
He knew those silent tears ant sothing.
Moreover, he was aware that the shadows in his heart were initially treated during the training camp, which didn’t an he was free from those shadows; he rely bravely walked out of the nightmare, but it didn’t an he didn’t resist in his heart.
Those mories couldn’t be erased just like that.
And his actions tonight, to so extent, caused the shadows in his heart to ripple with a few waves.
It was the sin he made himself, saying things he shouldn’t have said, doing things he shouldn’t have done!
Taking steps, he walked to Hua Hua’s side, tilted his head, slightly touched Hua Hua’s arm, but was avoided by him.
"I’m sorry."
"It’s not your fault, it’s mine," Hua Hua’s eyes were stained with sadness: "You aren’t anyone to , yet I ask you to accompany all day. You, the major boss of a public company, got hurt because of , yet you still indulge everywhere, cooking als for personally. I call you to co and go as I please, based rely on your little thoughts for , utilizing your slight affection for however I want, it’s high ti I paid the price. There’s no such thing as a free al, and I know it myself."
Hua Hua’s words made Ling Yin’s nerves twitch, truly feeling pained in his heart. He was not good to him for any return, but genuinely wanted to see him happy.
In the end, he hurt his heart instead.
"However, I’m not soone who considers everything as a ga. Maybe in your heart, you think little of , but sorry, I can’t afford to play around, nor do I want to be played by a man under him. Brother Ling, you’ve got the wrong person."
"These days, all I’ve eaten, stayed, played, and used at your place, calculate it, and I’ll pay you back. If I didn’t play up to you, I won’t let you suffer a loss either. Whatever expenses you incurred, don’t worry, not a penny less, later, I’ll have my brother transfer the full amount to your account. From now on, you go your sunny path, and I’ll cross my single-wood bridge! We’ll settle it between us!"
His words sounded like accusations, striking Ling Yin’s heart one after another.
Play...
Settle...
These words were like needles, deeply piercing Ling Yin’s heart.
Ling Yin’s whole temples throbbed, his throat churned, his words pierced deeply into his heart. For a mont, he couldn’t articulate any thoughts or coherent words.
