Because she knew that she couldn’t possibly be with him forever, she had to learn skills that would allow her to survive in society. Although she didn’t know why he was so good to her, she didn’t fantasize about this being like the ugly duckling eting her prince at midnight?
It wasn’t because she hadn’t put on the glass slipper, but rather her experiences of both warmth and coldness in the world over the past five years had killed off her innocent princess dream.
Whenever Chen Xing pursed her lips, it always gave an impression of soone pitiful and helpless.
However, when Gu Shaocheng saw this, he was not overwheld by pity or sympathy. She didn’t trust herself, eager to spread her wings and fly high.
He was displeased, but he didn’t show it.
"Fine, if you like accounting, then study accounting."
Chen Xing had always thought he was just saying nice things to appease her. But he was actually very capable. With only two days passed, he had even managed to complete her enrollnt procedures.
"You’re telling the truth, I can start school today, at a prestigious University in Vancouver? But why am I a sophomore?"
Chen Xing looked at the stack of brand-new textbooks on the table, sowhat disbelieving, at the butler who had inford her of her admission.
"At any ti. According to Sir, there’s no need to follow a predetermined path in university. I’ve seen your high school grades; there should be no problem for you to directly join as a sophomore with your capability."
"Ah! I can’t believe this? How did you guys manage this?" Is college now like kindergarten? Does anyone who completes the admission process get in? Then what’s the point of college entrance exams?
Chen Xing did not understand.
However, she was very happy.
The butler smiled gracefully, "It’s actually simple. Sir donated a library to the university and promised to provide a set number of internship spots each year. So..."
So unless the university president is brain-dead, he won’t reject such a lucrative deal.
"I need to thank him properly." Chen Xing’s face flushed with excitent. She looked at the butler, trying to contain her excitent, "what should I do to express my gratitude?"
"Heh heh, that, Miss Ye, you should consider yourself," the butler said with a slight smile. "Don’t worry, the master went out this afternoon. Before he returns, you have a full two days to think about this."
He’s on a business trip? No wonder I haven’t seen him.
Chen Xing nodded. Her whole mind was on going to school. She decided, "I’m going to change clothes and check out the school today. Butler, can you accompany ?"
"I’m not supposed to leave the mansion, but I can send soone with you."

Gu Shaocheng had just gotten off the plane when he made a call to his mansion.
"Sir, are you looking for Miss Chen Xing? She has not returned ho yet."
Gu Shaocheng slightly furrowed his brows. It was already half-past ten at night, and a young girl was still out! Just before he boarded the plane, she had told him over the phone that she would stay at ho after school. She dared to lie to him on the phone? All of a sudden, Gu Shaocheng’s voice carried a hint of displeasure: "Call her to co ho."
"We tried, but it keeps saying it’s already in a call."
"Oh?" Gu Shaocheng frowned. This girl really has a big heart for fun! She dared to turn off her phone and not co ho till late at night? The next second, he decisively hung up, then dialed Chen Xing’s cell phone himself.
After a long series of rings, the phone was finally answered, but the voice of a man ca from the other end.
